I was on this side of town, and I was passing by and decided to loop in before heading back downtown. There's plenty of parking surrounding the building. It was one woman in the bakery that came from the back. She was somewhat pleasant, and she was polite in answering my questions. I ordered a few different items to try with my family, such as a cinnamon sugar donut, pistachio cake, oatmeal raisin cookie, and a chocolate chip cookie. I also ordered a pound cake. I really tried to keep an open mind.  The best tasting of everything I listed was the pistachio cake. It had a decent flavor and was moist. Everything else was a bit different for me or not as moist as I would have liked. There are so many different options and I believe they serve lunch. It definitely looks like an amazing local establishment. I would say definitely try this spot for yourself and see what fits. read more

I ventured here after a Cajun brunch I usually despise this side of town because of the weekend traffic. But after a pleasant brunch I ordered the last slice or piece of tres leche cake from the lady behind the counter. It tasted wonderful, this is one of my favorite desserts to order besides tiramisu cake. The seating area is small just like the parking lot. This bakery was cute and looked good on the inside. The serves was good, however, the food seemed to be blend and showing any originality. The empanadas where dough, and lack filling. Was super excited to try them out since they're right down the road and the reviews are good. Horrible Experience. I ordered a cake 3 weeks in advance. The woman took photos of what I wanted and took a 50% deposit. When I went to pick up the cake on the day of the party, they had not made it. I had to argue about the amount of my deposit and the only response I got was " I don't know what happened to the "ticket". so disappointing. A small simple place. I went in last Sat (around 1pm) looking for a good cheese danish. I was the only one in there. Lady was pretty short with me, like I was bothering her by coming in. Not into answering questions at all. Got some sort of cheese danish like item (not too fresh, but very good), a "jelly empenada" (not good at all) and of course a piece of Tres Leches cake because, that's like, their thing I guess. It was tasty, but not good enough to name your place after. Overall average wares with dry, unwelcoming service. The best fresh baked goods in Columbia! Those maple pecan cookies taste like heaven. And the pastelittos de guayaba y queso crema? Wow! The flakiness and rhe light powder sugar is just such an amazing and nostalgic memory for me. We have them in Puerto Rico but we have so many variations in the Latino community. There's a great homey feel to this quaint establishment. And the regulars bring an amazing touch to ambiance too. Im so happy I found this among the best 3 places for cookies in Columbia. For my daughters 19th birthday she wanted a Tres Leches cakes. We called, as I forgot to pre-order a cake, and within 45 minutes they had a 10inch cake ready for us to pick up. They don't know how much they saved me from a "no birthday cake" situation. This cake was absolutely loved by everyone at her birthday get together. Wonderful Bakery in Irmo How lucky are we to have this gem in the area. We have had the Carrot Cake, Coconut Cake and now the Tres Leches. They are all fantastic. I was looking for a local bakery to do my engagement cake and called Tres leaches. I called and explained what I wanted on the cake and I went in person to pay for it with me mom. We were shocked to go in and see the place was absolutely disgusting. The kitchen was a mess, with dirty dishes and pots out filled with buttercream. Bags of flour and sugar opened with trays of baked goods out next to the dirty dishes. The worker was also not clean with her hands touching everything and going back to work on her cake orders. I left and canceled my cake order and definitely not recommend her to anyone. read more

This is a really great place. We are so happy we have this bakery in our side of town. We started trying their pastelitos and their variety of tres leches desserts. Their pumpkin spice flavor is phenomenal. We have also now tried their made to order cakes and were also very delicious. For my birthday, we got a specially made to order, large Tres Leches dessert and it dissapeared within an hour! Great people, great baked goods. You will not be disappointed. read more

I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a business owner. I am 100% in support of small business and will go out of my way to give them my time & money so this shocked me and I am leaving this review in hopes to keep it from happening to at least one other person. We are new in town and because of the good reviews, I ordered my moms birthday cake from this bakery. First opinion, I was not super impressed with the overall appearance and customer service but my mom really wanted this specific cake so I let that go. After blowing out the candles and cutting it, we realized we received an entirely different cake than the one she requested and we ordered. I immediately called and the owner answered. I explained the situation was told "the flavor was added" and was brushed off. I offered to bring the cake in to show her that it was just a plain yellow cake rather than key lime and she said she was busy making another cake also they were closing in an hour so not to bother. Because she didn't have the time for me, she requested my phone number to return my call and process my refund. I agreed because at this point, her birthday was almost over and I just wanted our money back. I was also tired of arguing and being told I was completely wrong about the cake and being spoken down to for something that was not my fault. Days later, nothing. Decided to just go in person and explain the situation once more and was berated for not bringing in the cake... and at this point she refused a refund. We went back and forth and finally she offered the refund again, but it turns out that she was "out of cash" and her card machine was broken. At this point I just wanted this to be done and over because it was rather upsetting. I came back a few days later as my last attempt and once again was refused a full refund. I remained calm and respectful and she actually laughed in my face saying once again that I was wrong.. which just showed how little she actually cared about my opinion or my moms feelings on what was her 50th. It's just a cake but we deserved validation and at least respect. I have never felt so belittled or talked down to in a store. I remember telling her she shouldn't care just about losing my business because I know there are plenty of other customers, she should care that as a human being it is just unacceptable to make someone feel so small! I was eventually thrown a partial cash refund and left feeling shocked and hurt from the interaction. Overall, the owner is EXTREMELY defensive and refuses to apologize for her errors. She laughs customers in the face and I honestly hope no one has to leave feeling like I did. read more

This place is a fat girl's dream and a skinny girl's nightmare! I'm extremely impressed the vast selection of sweets that these ladies offer. The baked goods are moist, delectable, and presented in a savory manner. I love the lack of portion control on the samples. They are outrageously large and allow for two to amply multiple cakes and cookies. My favorite is the red velvet as you know most places horribly mangle this Southern favorite but I their red velvet cake with its whipped frosting is perfect! read more
