First time at Sourdough & Co. was at this Pacifica locale on the afternoon of Saturday, August 30, 2025. Located in the Linda Mar Shopping Center, we easily found parking in the lot, just steps away from the front door. We arrived around 1:15 PM to a fairly busy store. The relaxed sandwich shoppe, with hardwood flooring, was naturally well-lit through the big front windows. The venue was also well kept on this day. This Sourdough & Co. location offers sourdough bread sandwiches, gluten-free wraps, soups and salads. You can get flatbreads, cookies, chips and drinks from here, too. Similar to Subway Sandwiches and Togo's, there is no table service here - you place your order and pick up from the counter. Easy peasy. I did notice their sign at the register, informing customers that they impose a 3% surcharge on all credit card transactions. No likey. I didn't know that regional chains could be so cheap. Mom and I just wanted something small to share, so we ordered a turkey & avocado wrap. Mom did not like it at all, but I thought that it was ok. It wasn't horrible, but definitely far from the best. They could have stuffed the wrap more, too - what we received looked like an anorexic burrito. Would I return? Let's just say that Sourdough & Co. would not be the first place to come to mind to grab a bite, not even if I had a craving for a sandwich. I wouldn't kick and scream to fight against going here, either.

    Tuna sandwich, expectation vs reality

Our sandwiches were expensive, mostly lettuce, and missing several ingredients, some of which I paid extra for. I wish there was at least a way to take back the tip. I get that menu photos are going to look better than the final product but what we actually got served was SAD next to what we picked on the order screen.

The cashier was very helpful and kind. Very clean area. friendly staff, definitely worth the hype. will be coming back ! great service

    Artichoke and chicken flatbread pizza

My favorite place to go for lunch!! I enjoyed their South West Chicken Salad but today I was in the mood for pizza and saw that they have flatbread pizzas! Light and easy for lunch I ordered the Artichoke and Chicken flatbread. It comes with white sauce but it they unfortunately ran out of the white sauce so the cashier suggested to sub the sauce for ranch. Oh. My. Goodness !!!!!! It was soooooo delicious. The olives gave the pizza a nice balance with the ranch and chicken. The bread itself was so crispy and just all over delicious!! And who doesn't like a little crispy cheese on top! Recommend 9/10 (only because I can't compare the ranch sub to the original sauce ) I will be adding this to my rotation for next time when I'm in the mood for here.

The service was great, the Ambiance was chill, and the food it great would recommend, would go again

I thought I ordered it with pickles?

I asked for the pickles and I didn't receive them. I also asked for avocado and the cashier didn't add it on. But the clam chowder bowl was good.

    Chicken cholula

First time trying sourdough & co. I love sandwiches with great sourdough bread and this sandwich definitely lived up to the hype. I ordered the "chicken cholulua", and after taking one bite, I'll never eat another sandwich again. The bread to filling ratio is perfect and it makes my mouth water every single time. highly recommend. the employees are very welcoming and i honestly only have good things to say about this place. try out the chicken cholula! you won't regret it

This place just keeps getting better and better. The food was gone so fast that I couldn't even take a picture in time. Great service and vibe! Everyone is always extremely attentive and friendly

A year later and I'm still satisfied with my local deli. Today I went outside my usual and got the Crunchy Chicken Sandwich. Omgggg, so good i loved the crispy onions and I can always count on fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Service is always friendly, never a problem. I grab my order to go but if you want to dine in there's room to do that. Thank you for reading my notes and following through. Please don't ever go.

I've been to a previous location near my work in SJ and was very happy with the quality and taste of their sandwiches. Didn't realize there was a one closer to me in Pacifica. Got it to go so can't comment on an in the shop experience but, good sourdough bread with nice chew. Pastrami is pretty good too and they provide you with a pretty good serving. My go-to is usually the brisket, so next time I'll try that here as well.

Being a sandwich lover, I saw Sourdough & Co opening up and knew eventually I'd be back to try it out. That time came a couple weeks ago, and I gotta say, for the area, it's got a lot of potential! Being my first time, I decided to go with the smoked brisket sandwich. I was getting ready for a long day out on the road, so I decided to eat it there which was the best way to go. This was a messy sandwich in a good way, lots of sauce, good flavor, and actually pretty filling! It comes with a pickle and it's something that I'd order again. It got really soggy real quick, so be prepared with napkins and eat it quick. If you let it sit for awhile, the bread wouldn't hold up...now that I'm on the subject of bread, this is where I think the biggest room for improvement is. Having 'Sourdough' in the name, I had high expectations for the bread, and when I ripped the bread apart, it was still a little doughy. I definitely think it could've been baked a little bit longer, and/or the bread being more toasted. Bread can make/break a sandwich, and I think once they figure out the bread, this will be a solid choice for sandwiches in Pacifica.

Great location and service! Management was friendly. we ordered different sandwiches (french dip, turkey salami) and soups (chili and clam chowder) and everything was freshly prepared especially the bread! the interior was bright and tables are kept clean. Will be back!

We walked around looking. Another party came in after us, a party of 7 and they were even louder than us. Anyways, everyone just started making themselves at home. Took a table, got our own menus, etc. Quality/Quantity - Today we got the following: Boneless Hainanese Half Chicken - When I ordered this, I did not know it was boneless. When it arrived, I said to myself another skinny chicken, and then realized it was boneless. So for a boneless half chicken, it had a very reasonable amount of meat. I am not sure if I have EVER had an entire half chicken deboned for me?!?! I really appreciated it. And the accompanying ginger was so good; we asked for more. A little too salty for my guests, but I like salt. Clams with Black Bean Sauce - Good flavors. Decent portions, considering that it is a seafood dish. One clam still had some sand in it, but the rest was good. Chicken Chow Fun - Not on the menu, but they gladly substituted the beef for chicken for us. The chicken was very tender. Decent portions. I actually thought it had generous portions, until we finished it all. And we are light eaters. But the food here must be that good, because both my guests finished it all with NO leftovers. Atmosphere - Small local restaurant, with cool decor and even better messages! See all my pictures. Private room available. Two unisex restrooms. Both of which have positive messages; again, see pictures. Open 7 days a week from 10:30am to 9pm; closed Tuesdays. Plenty of mall parking, but it was FULL due to a busy Sunday lunch rush in the mall. Service - Good, friendly, and welcoming. Well after she finished working in the back... Things started okay as we ordered a few lamb skewers as an appetizer which were a little tough, but had a nice cumin and spicy flavor. However, the main course was the biggest disappointment. We ordered three noodle soups and beef chow mein, and they were all extremely bland. In particular, the two fish noodle soups tasted almost identical despite one supposedly having green peppercorn and the other having pickled vegetable. Both were very under-salted and had very little flavor. The chow mein was equally bland, and the noodles were also very mushy and overcooked. I have never found myself reaching for the soy sauce at restaurants, but I did this time, not that it helped much. Overall, the meal felt very unsatisfying. Perhaps we just ordered the wrong items (maybe we should have tried their signature dry pots?) but after this experience, I'm not keen to give this place a second chance.

We got a short rib dry pot, beef noodle soup, fried rice, various skewers, spicy wontons, and cucumber salad. Short rib dry pot was just okay, the meat itself was a bit chewy and it was pretty oily. The potatoes were a let down almost tasted like soggy fries rather than actual cut potatoes. Beef noodle soup was lacking in flavor as well and the meat tasted on the lower quality side. Beef, scallop, chicken skin/heart skewers were pretty flavorful and had some good smokiness to them, but the lamb skewers weren't up to par with the others. The chilli wontons were pretty good, plump, juicy, and had a strong spicy kick to them. Fried rice was exceptional, ended up ordering an extra order. Overall I think the quality of some of the dishes has gone a bit downhill from when they first opened.

Checked out this hidden spot close to serramonte mall. I love how they have a small parking lot!…read more We went on a weekday and it's AYCE $32.99 dinner time. First time experiencing 90% of the food was already in skewers, so basically you just have to dip them in the soup base you choose. You were able to choose 2 soup base and we chose the House special and sauerkraut broth. I personally like the sauerkraut more. I love how they marinated the meat not too flavorful and they have a section where the meat is marinated with mild spice. I like spicy food myself so I like the flavor. If you cannot take spicy, they have a section on the menu where you can choose the non marinated meat. They have 4 different kinds to choose from: Ribeye Roll, supreme beef roll, New Zealand Lamb, black tripe. All their meat is pretty fresh for their price. There is a variety selection for vegetables too and drinks not included! Sauce is also self serve just like a lot of other hotpot places. I'm happy that they have fermented bean sauce, black vinegar and roasted sesame because those are always my Togo sauce to make for hotpot! Service was excellent and always check up on us on what we need! Inside isn't small or big but very neat and love the decorations on the wall. Overall, I would definitely go back soon!

Non-skewer meat quality is quite good. The skewers are fun but hard to pick up in the refrigerator,…read moreand the meat on the skewers is quite tough. The spicy broth we got was soooo oily my stomach hurt the next day, so watch out for that. Could use more vegetable options and have more food stocked, the fridges look pretty empty and sad though I'm guessing they're trying to avoid food waste. Price is a tad high for what it is, but the novelty of the skewers is what you're paying for. I would recommend coming for weekday lunch to get a better price. Also the fried mochi with brown sugar is dangerously good if you like chewy sweets.
