Cobb salad large and very good! The pastrami Rueben very good but on small side! Chicken plableno soup good! All same sourdough bread! They didn't have tuna or corn beef for sandwiches! But what they did have very good! They had strawberry guava drink which was great!

Our sandwiches were expensive, mostly lettuce, and missing several ingredients, some of which I paid extra for. I wish there was at least a way to take back the tip. I get that menu photos are going to look better than the final product but what we actually got served was SAD next to what we picked on the order screen.

First time at Sourdough & Co. was at this Pacifica locale on the afternoon of Saturday, August 30, 2025. Located in the Linda Mar Shopping Center, we easily found parking in the lot, just steps away from the front door. We arrived around 1:15 PM to a fairly busy store. The relaxed sandwich shoppe, with hardwood flooring, was naturally well-lit through the big front windows. The venue was also well kept on this day. This Sourdough & Co. location offers sourdough bread sandwiches, gluten-free wraps, soups and salads. You can get flatbreads, cookies, chips and drinks from here, too. Similar to Subway Sandwiches and Togo's, there is no table service here - you place your order and pick up from the counter. Easy peasy. I did notice their sign at the register, informing customers that they impose a 3% surcharge on all credit card transactions. No likey. I didn't know that regional chains could be so cheap. Mom and I just wanted something small to share, so we ordered a turkey & avocado wrap. Mom did not like it at all, but I thought that it was ok. It wasn't horrible, but definitely far from the best. They could have stuffed the wrap more, too - what we received looked like an anorexic burrito. Would I return? Let's just say that Sourdough & Co. would not be the first place to come to mind to grab a bite, not even if I had a craving for a sandwich. I wouldn't kick and scream to fight against going here, either.

My favorite place to go for lunch!! I enjoyed their South West Chicken Salad but today I was in the mood for pizza and saw that they have flatbread pizzas! Light and easy for lunch I ordered the Artichoke and Chicken flatbread. It comes with white sauce but it they unfortunately ran out of the white sauce so the cashier suggested to sub the sauce for ranch. Oh. My. Goodness !!!!!! It was soooooo delicious. The olives gave the pizza a nice balance with the ranch and chicken. The bread itself was so crispy and just all over delicious!! And who doesn't like a little crispy cheese on top! Recommend 9/10 (only because I can't compare the ranch sub to the original sauce ) I will be adding this to my rotation for next time when I'm in the mood for here.

First time trying sourdough & co. I love sandwiches with great sourdough bread and this sandwich definitely lived up to the hype. I ordered the "chicken cholulua", and after taking one bite, I'll never eat another sandwich again. The bread to filling ratio is perfect and it makes my mouth water every single time. highly recommend. the employees are very welcoming and i honestly only have good things to say about this place. try out the chicken cholula! you won't regret it

This place just keeps getting better and better. The food was gone so fast that I couldn't even take a picture in time. Great service and vibe! Everyone is always extremely attentive and friendly

A year later and I'm still satisfied with my local deli. Today I went outside my usual and got the Crunchy Chicken Sandwich. Omgggg, so good i loved the crispy onions and I can always count on fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Service is always friendly, never a problem. I grab my order to go but if you want to dine in there's room to do that. Thank you for reading my notes and following through. Please don't ever go.

I've been to a previous location near my work in SJ and was very happy with the quality and taste of their sandwiches. Didn't realize there was a one closer to me in Pacifica. Got it to go so can't comment on an in the shop experience but, good sourdough bread with nice chew. Pastrami is pretty good too and they provide you with a pretty good serving. My go-to is usually the brisket, so next time I'll try that here as well.

Being a sandwich lover, I saw Sourdough & Co opening up and knew eventually I'd be back to try it out. That time came a couple weeks ago, and I gotta say, for the area, it's got a lot of potential! Being my first time, I decided to go with the smoked brisket sandwich. I was getting ready for a long day out on the road, so I decided to eat it there which was the best way to go. This was a messy sandwich in a good way, lots of sauce, good flavor, and actually pretty filling! It comes with a pickle and it's something that I'd order again. It got really soggy real quick, so be prepared with napkins and eat it quick. If you let it sit for awhile, the bread wouldn't hold up...now that I'm on the subject of bread, this is where I think the biggest room for improvement is. Having 'Sourdough' in the name, I had high expectations for the bread, and when I ripped the bread apart, it was still a little doughy. I definitely think it could've been baked a little bit longer, and/or the bread being more toasted. Bread can make/break a sandwich, and I think once they figure out the bread, this will be a solid choice for sandwiches in Pacifica.

Had the worst experience here. I placed an order online for a broccoli cheddar bread bowl. I go to pick it up and they tell me to wait a few minutes. I wait probably 5-10 more minutes before they again check in with me and then a manager or someone comes out and tells me they're out of the broccoli cheddar soup....at that point I had been waiting 15 minutes and I'm pretty sure they'd been out of it the whole time! I had already paid for the order on the online platform, so they offered to get me a sandwich instead. I was trying to calculate the price difference in my head so I got a sandwich and a drink and they said they'd charge me for the drink since that was extra? I said to forget the drink...I could not believe how ungenerous and unapologetic they were after making me wait as long as I had. I ordered the sandwich with no spread and yet it still had this sweet spread that I really didn't care for so overall, just such a disappointing experience. read more

Mouthwatering sandwhiches! Got hungry after visiting the beach and decided to check out this shopping center and found this hidden gem. You have to try the SMOKED BRISKET sandwich! Honestly, it's an okay place in my opinion. It wasn't bad, but I wasn't really wow'ed to where I wanted to finish my meal. Tried their Reuben sandwich, and their clam chowder. Pros: Sandwich served warm, and loved the bread being warm and toasty. Definitely did not skimp on the filling. The sandwich size is hearty regardless if you get a 4,6,8". The chowder is served piping hot with a side of warm, crusty sourdough bread. Cons: Not enough seasoning and lacking of flavor in both the sandwich and the soup. Strangely for me it was bland. It could've used more salt in the meat and definitely in the soup. The sourdough wasn't sour at all. It was just bread, and kinda disappointing when sourdough is advertised and it turns out to be dense white bread. The staff is friendly, and the place is kept clean. Overall it was an okay experience. Might give this place a round 2 try and try something else and we'll see about updating this review. read more

I really want to like this place as the food is decent but the hygiene is quite questionable. I've seen multiple times now where the sandwich maker touches the register and customer's credit cards without taking off their gloves, then goes right back to making sandwiches with the same gloves. I've also witnessed workers grab their laptops and mobiles with the same gloves, then grab deli meats and make sandwiches. So they just use the same gloves the whole time and touch everything in the store without taken them off while making our sandwiches? I was hoping it would just be off a few times due to lack of training. However, I've seen this too many times at this store where it's quite disappointing as we do like their sandwiches. read more

It was my first time getting food at this location and I will definitely come back!! Firstly, the staff is friendly and I was greeted with smiles. Secondly, the whole place is clean, which includes the bathroom! Lastly, the sandwich and clam chowder are delicious. I got the French Dip and added avocado and provolone cheese. You can taste the fresh ingredients with each bite of the sandwich and the clam chowder was super tasty. I love that service was so quick and that it wasn't too crowded. I feel like they punished me for trying to give them my business. Unacceptable to be served a sandwich the way I was. I would have brought it back but I rather just not go here anymore. Nice little sandwich spot by Linda Mar, fresh sourdough bread and soups. I order a number 12 Tuna salad, fresh clearly home made and not from a can. My wife had the Pastrami Ruben, loved the flavors. Food is decent but overpriced a bit. Service st this location is always SAH-LOW!!!! Today the crew was too busy having a loud and in depth conversation about Marvel movies to acknowledge customers. After taking our order they barely interacted with us and went back to their convo, while also swearing once in a while. Also, the hiphop rap music didn't fit the business either. I was working in Pacifica last week and noticed that a Sourdough & Co just opened up. I am from San Francisco and only love my sandwiches on SF Boudin bread. I decided to try a wrap (love the bread, don't love the calories). I ordered a veggie wrap and absolutely loved it! The veggies were fresh and the wrap was not thick and bready, rather light and fresh. It was also very filling without feeling heavy. This is my new " go to". Tried sourdough and Co for first time and it did not disappoint. Smoked brisket was really good but the clam chowder really took me away. I could taste the crab in it right away. Fresh ingredients, perfectly toasted bread, and layers of fillings that made every bite a mini celebration. Sandwich satisfaction level - through the roof. Ambience - chillax to the max. The sourdough bread is sooo good here. It's nice and soft with a nice sourdough hint. I always get the tuna with swiss and my husband loves the turkey and pastrami. They also serve my fav chips, Maui brand, can't locate this anywhere. And the service here is so pleasant, everyone is so nice. Definitely a must. I wish they had more locations in the Peninsula area. read more

I had tried their Sacramento store to great satisfaction so was excited to see them open a location in Pacifica! I went to the shop around 1130 and there was only 1 other person waiting. The staff were bustling behind the counter and attended to me right away. They seemed very concerned about making sure they got my order correct when repeating it back which I appreciated. I They offer the 4", 6" and 8" sizes. I was more into sampling the quality, so went for the 4" turkey, w/ provolone, lettuce, tomato, onion, house sauce, mustard on the sourdough roll. They give you lots of options on how to customize your sandwich which I appreciate, and it was ready in 10 minutes (so got some Safeway shopping done in the meantime). The bread had that nice flaky/softly crunchy sourdough crust and good flavor, the turkey was a little underwhelming but I think that's due to the overpowering of the yellow mustard and house sauce combo. I love that they use the shredded lettuce. For beverages, they offer fountain drinks, canned soda and bottled water and a nice selection of chips. The store was clean and had a few tables and chairs but is pretty narrow compared to the larger location I had visited which was restaurant sized. I highly recommend visiting. Not to mention, you're walkable to the beach! read more

I wanted to give this place a second chance because I would go to the area for lunch often to break up my work from home day a little. The first time I went I was surprised at how long it took to order since they only have 4 tables inside and most orders seem to be take out. I thought perhaps it's just getting the new place rhythm and team going and working well together. My food was adequate, nothing to rave about. Salad and soup. Seemed commercial, not fresh made. Witnessed an elderly couple ask if they could sit there instead, and that person grabbed rudely their cup and moved it towards the end of the table, as if to say they weren't moving. I don't understand why individual remote workers can't sit at smaller tables, instead of inconsiderately taking up larger spots. Soul Grind should implement minimum party seating/time limits - individuals like this ruin the atmosphere/vibe.

Although, the steak can be a miss sometimes, I continue to come here because this restaurant has become a place where my Dad and I can just hang out and experience life together and to me that is such a treasure. This place can get busy especially on the weekends, but the staff are always attentive and you don't feel bad when you flag them down for something because they are happy to help you. I always see them smiling.

I have been a regular customer of this place since mid September last year 2022. For the past 5 months, I went there pretty much every day (at least 3 to 4 days a week) for dinner. The food has been great! It's actually the best sourdough I've ever had and I am a big fan of the chicken salad sandwich, greek salad, veggie sandwiches, lentil soup and and the roasted brisket sandwich. I found most of the staff very friendly, patient and doing a good job preparing the food and interacting with customers. I had some unpleasant interactions with one of the staff members. She forgot to put certain ingredients into my salad twice, and the conversations with her didn't go very well in resolving the issue. After a third time conflict that she was seemingly ignoring my request of printing out the receipt. I posted a negative review including her picture. There was some difficulties reaching out to the management, it took about a month since i first tried to reach out, but i finally talked with the business owner on the phone. We've agreed that when i go back to the sandwich shop, he will make sure i won't have further interactions with the staff member i had issues with. We agreed that the situation has been escalated pass the point of reconciling with her. I learned from the business owner that: * 85% of the staff are teenagers * the staff member i had issues with is 17 years old * he is a father of four and he has a daughter of the same age as the staff member * part of his role is to help teenagers who work here transition into adulthood as they learn how to interact with others * a negative review with the staff member's picture is threatening * there were concerns about the staff member's safety when her picture is posted * the staff member i had issue with has been working at his sandwich shop since the shop opened, and this is the first time she had a complain * she didn't react to my negative review on yelp. (for the context, a profile named 'Marianne' messaged me on yelp, asking me to remove the staff's picture or she will call the police). it's probably from a family member of hers and she is unaware of the person's identity. * he noticed the staff member doesn't smile enough at work and her demeanor can seem unhappy I really appreciate the owner taking his time talking with me to address the issue, shared with me his perspective and offered a solution. He has a lot compassion towards teenagers who work at his sandwich shop, and really try to hold a safe space for them to lean and transition into adulthood. i am sorry that the staff member feel threatened when her picture is included in a negative review. I do want to hold her accountable but i have no intention to harm her. That' why i posted the review on yelp instead of other social media that potentially reach a broader audience. The previous review is truthful from my perspective, it also complied with yelp's review policy, but I still apologize for how it affected the staff member. i asked chatgpt about my experience, it's interesting what AI 'thinks' about it. see the photo attached. read more
