    Cute booths!

Late night pho?!? Woot woot!! Yes please!! And thank you!! Love having a pho option available until midnight! This is a rarity!! The menu is robust and food was decent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We enjoyed the cute booth area, giving us lots of room to spread out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The portions are also very generous for the price! We did notice the meat may not be as high quality as other restaurants; the pho tai meat had a strange color and texture. I'd also say the pho soup isn't as flavorful as Gao for example but actually tasted quite good after adding all the jalapeños for heat. The large was gigantic and a great value, especially if you're not picky about the meat. Good late night pho option!

We ate here for dinner on the evening of July 4th. It wasn't too busy when we arrived, so we were immediately seated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is quite bright with some contrasting colors against the wall. The interior can be mistaken as a karaoke bar, but it's a cozy place to eat some warm pho.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered a rare steak pho with meatballs (number 46). The pho orders are available in medium or large bowls. My mom ordered a Pho Ga (Chicken Pho) and we shared an order of imperial rolls. Our food was ready within 10 minutes. The presentation of the pho matched my expectations in flavor. The broth had a therapeutic taste with the sliced onions, green onion and cilantro, while the rare beef slices were tender. The noodles were fresh and the meatballs were spongy, meaty and tasty. The imperial rolls were crispy and not greasy. They go well with the provided noodles and crisp pieces of fresh lettuce. Service wise, don't expect too much. You may always ask the waiters if you need anything else. They do charge 3% more if you use your card and extra cents for to go containers (in case you don't finish). This place was not bad at all. I'll come back for their pho.

I haven't been to this place in a while now. I loveeee how they're open later than other restaurants. Pretty good pho to satisfy cravings late at night. Service is pretty good, but the food took awhile to come out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant inside is okay, nothing too special with the ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Not bad for Daly City. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was mostly empty on a Monday evening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu has a big +$1 price adjustment on top. My Five Spice Chicken garlic noodles $16 tasted OK. The chicken was a bit dry. Luckily they have fish sauce on the side. The pickled vegetables were served on top of leaf lettuce. The garlic noodles had a hint of butter and a mild garlic taste. The disappointing part was that some of the noodles would break apart due to them being flimsy. Service was fine as I received a water refill. I was left a bit hungry still and had to get some popcorn chicken and a Thai iced tea next door. One more thing, Internet service in this plaza is terrible. My suggestion would be for the restaurant to offer WiFi to customers.

An okay place for pho, the broth has a very strong beef taste if you're into that. I prefer something more light. The portions are definitely very generous and the service is good.

Right across from classic bowl Friendly staffs and decent food. Easy and quick to order over phone. -1 star they should disclose 3% credit card payment charge. Give your customer the option to bring cash for pick up.

Daly City, the peninsula, gets chilly often. And when it does, you sometimes crave noodle soup! Yum. And what's what we did on a chilly fall day, we went to get pho soup! Located inside a busy, busy strip mall with plenty of parking, Pho Cafe is a small restaurant with some unique seating arrangements and some comforting Vietnamese food. The service was nice, the vibe seemed to be a mix of club mixed with sports bar atmosphere, which was a weird combo, especially given that the color way was very red. Either way, the food was good, the egg rolls were good, just got food all around.

My Garlic noodles and pork were full of flavor, but not to the point that my breath was kicking in the end. Its quite spacious and great for big groups to dine as well. This is a go-to spot for sure!

This is the first Vietnamese restaurant I've been to that offered a standard bowl of pho (combo) for over $20. I still remember, long, long time ago, when I could have gotten a bowl of pho $7.95. Crazy. Inflation is insane. However, even at those prices, the food was legit. I don't know if it's worth that price, but it surely didn't make me regret visiting Ben Tre. The combo pho was good. As expected. The garlic noodles with pork was quite tasty and enjoyable. The egg rolls knocked it out of the park. Parking can be a pain in the butt. Exclusively street parking. Restaurant could be cleaner. Staff was fine, but could be nonexistent or overbearing on the same visit. Overall, my visit was fine. I think I'd stick with my selection in San Jose where I find the prices to be a bit more reasonable.

Customary at most Vietnamese restaurants, you get your food with minimal check ins and not even a plate clearing until the bill comes. This was NOT the case here. There service was definitely in the A/A+ range! I ordered on my phone via QR code, but there was an option to order in person from a server. I ordered many items to try out. I ordered spring rolls, crispy salt and pepper wings, grilled pork banh mi, beef dac beit pho, and a Thai iced tea. Thai Iced Tea was pretty good. Grade: A I thought the Spring Rolls were decent, but what made them even better was the peanut sauce! I always hate when the peanut sauce is watery and this was far from that! An excellent gooey peanut sauce and maybe one of the best I've had fpr consistency. Grade: A- Crispy salt and pepper wings definitely had an incredible crunch. They were up there in crunchiness. The drumettes were meaty which I appreciated. They were well seasoned also. I think I need to try their other wings before crowning these, but some of the cruncheist wings I've had for sure. Grade: A- Beef Dac Biet Pho had some real high quality meat in it. I had options in noodle and my go-to for any pho spot is the egg noodles. I wish it had more bo vien in it, but I appreciated the combo of meats. The broth seemed authentic, but I wanted a tad more flavor out of it without adding sauces. Overall, the pho grade was a B+ bordering an A-. The star of the show was the grilled pork banh mi. The meat was tender and saucy. In fairness I asked for extra pickles and mayo, but I was very impressed. The bread had the crispy crunch we all look for but minus the stale bread. The breads soft yet crispness made it seem as if it just came out of the oven! I'm going to dub this as the best I've had in the Bay Area! There I said it! Grade: A+ Everyone who ordered the sampler seemed very pleased at other tables, I would definitely try that. Also, want to try the other banh mis and noodle options for the pho. There was a nice vibe at this place. I didn't feel rushed although they do close fairly early at 8pm. The server's mom is the one cooking in the kitchen and I appreciated the family feeling at this place. They do have a newer location in San Francisco that has a DJ Friday nights that I may check out. I believe the server said that they are open til 2am on most nights, but I may have misheard her. Feel free to Yelp that location. My only disappointment was that I really love papaya salad and it was not an option. I may make this my go-to spot from now on, but as a Yelper, we all know we will keep trying new places. This will be the one I continue to frequent. Well done Pho de Nguyen!

We can't really complain, but it also wasn't memorable enough for us to come back. The broth was decent, but if you're a pho lover, you know the broth is what makes or breaks the experience and this one just didn't stand out. After lunch we went grocery shopping, and that's when things took a turn. My husband suddenly started sweating, and my stomach began making all kinds of unhappy noises. We hadn't eaten anything else that day, so we suspect something from the meal didn't sit well with either of us. That said, we can't say for certain that the restaurant was the cause. The restaurant itself looked clean, and the service was perfectly fine. Unfortunately, between the average broth and how we both felt afterward, it's just not a place we'll be returning to.
