I ordering a catering order of sandwhich platters and he personally called me to make sure the time was correct for pick up and that my order was correct. When we ran into a problem day of, Pacifica had a power outage he quickly responded to my concerns and was ready to help create an alternative. The staff was so friendly and helpful when the order was picked up & my work enjoyed all the sandwiches. We'll definitely order with them again! read more

First time at Sourdough & Co. was at this Pacifica locale on the afternoon of Saturday, August 30, 2025. Located in the Linda Mar Shopping Center, we easily found parking in the lot, just steps away from the front door. We arrived around 1:15 PM to a fairly busy store. The relaxed sandwich shoppe, with hardwood flooring, was naturally well-lit through the big front windows. The venue was also well kept on this day. This Sourdough & Co. location offers sourdough bread sandwiches, gluten-free wraps, soups and salads. You can get flatbreads, cookies, chips and drinks from here, too. Similar to Subway Sandwiches and Togo's, there is no table service here - you place your order and pick up from the counter. Easy peasy. I did notice their sign at the register, informing customers that they impose a 3% surcharge on all credit card transactions. No likey. I didn't know that regional chains could be so cheap. Mom and I just wanted something small to share, so we ordered a turkey & avocado wrap. Mom did not like it at all, but I thought that it was ok. It wasn't horrible, but definitely far from the best. They could have stuffed the wrap more, too - what we received looked like an anorexic burrito. Would I return? Let's just say that Sourdough & Co. would not be the first place to come to mind to grab a bite, not even if I had a craving for a sandwich. Just ordered a $48 order and had a $50 gift card on a 8x11 paper as a Xmas present. The woman could not understand how to use the "gift card". What a terrible experience. Useless. She said our "card was declined". What a poor service moment. read more

My favorite place to go for lunch!! I enjoyed their South West Chicken Salad but today I was in the mood for pizza and saw that they have flatbread pizzas! Light and easy for lunch I ordered the Artichoke and Chicken flatbread. It comes with white sauce but it they unfortunately ran out of the white sauce so the cashier suggested to sub the sauce for ranch. Oh. My. Goodness !!!!!! It was soooooo delicious. The olives gave the pizza a nice balance with the ranch and chicken. The bread itself was so crispy and just all over delicious!! And who doesn't like a little crispy cheese on top! Recommend 9/10 (only because I can't compare the ranch sub to the original sauce ) I will be adding this to my rotation for next time when I'm in the mood for here. read more

While they aren't the fastest, they make pretty darn good sandwiches! Ok...what does that opening sentence truly mean? Well, I don't think my wife and I have ever gotten a sandwich from this spot that we didn't enjoy. Their veggies are usually very fresh and they truly make good sandwiches. They just take a long time to do it. Last night, we decided that we wanted sandwiches for dinner and I drove into Linda Mar to get them (our other sandwich shop is Mr. Pickles and you can read that review here as well). It appears I got there just before closing as the person who took my order said that they were only taking "to-go" orders. She didn't say it in any fashion that was off-putting...just stating it as fact. That was at about 6:40pm. Our order was two sandwiches. The order came out at 7:22pm, but it was perfectly made and my wife said, "It's exactly the taste I was craving." 42 minutes was quite a bit of time to make two sandwiches, but the taste was worth the wait. Being a sandwich lover, I saw Sourdough & Co opening up and knew eventually I'd be back to try it out. That time came a couple weeks ago, and I gotta say, for the area, it's got a lot of potential! Being my first time, I decided to go with the smoked brisket sandwich. I was getting ready for a long day out on the road, so I decided to eat it there which was the best way to go. This was a messy sandwich in a good way, lots of sauce, good flavor, and actually pretty filling! It comes with a pickle and it's something that I'd order again. It got really soggy real quick, so be prepared with napkins and eat it quick. If you let it sit for awhile, the bread wouldn't hold up...now that I'm on the subject of bread, this is where I think the biggest room for improvement is. Having 'Sourdough' in the name, I had high expectations for the bread, and when I ripped the bread apart, it was still a little doughy. I definitely think it could've been baked a little bit longer, and/or the bread being more toasted. Bread can make/break a sandwich, and I think once they figure out the bread, this will be a solid choice for sandwiches in Pacifica. read more

THE BEST sandwiches ever! First time around I had the brisket and it was so good I came back for it a second time. Then I tried the cholula chicken and that became my favorite so had to order that again the next week. The service is excellent, super friendly staff and owners. In fact I loved it so much that I had them cater my hike event at the local park. They delivered 200 perfect sandwiches and wraps to a hungry horde of hikers and everyone was raving about the lunch. What a wonderful experience here. My friend and I came in and asked for suggestions on what to order. We were suggested any of the specialty sandwiches, such as the French dip, and that's the one we got. Yummy! The bread was perfectly crunchy and soft, and the sandwich was tasty and fresh. Not sure why I was offered a 15%-20% tip option at payment when I paid, either. Am I subsidizing the company underpaying its workers? This restaurant isn't the cutest, but the man taking my order was so incredibly sweet, good vibes were so welcoming and kind. We got the french dip and it was so toasty and the au jus was so addicting and savory. Also got the cobb salad, but with caesar dressing and pepper jack cheese. It was a hefty portion of salad and so filling. We also had a clam chowder bread bowl and the man was kind enough to give us an extra half cup because it didn't fit in the bowl. Great food and above and beyond customer service! I walked in and *really* wanted a grilled cheese sandwich but saw they didn't have it on the menu. The cashier said he would be happy to make one customized for me and let me choose all the details/extras. Y'all this was one the the best grilled cheeses I've ever had and it wasn't even on their menu!!! Maybe it should be. Too bad I devoured it before I could take a picture. Love love LOVE this place so much. I feel like sandwich places are always open for breakfast and lunch, but never for dinner, but S&C is open later, which is so nice when you want a sando for dinner. I'm ready to branch out and try different sandwiches because once I got their French Dip, I became so loyal because it's sooo freaking good; very meaty and savory. I usually add a lot of other ingredients to my sandwiches, but the French dip is perfect as is. I've seen and had bites of friends' sandwiches (I had to bring them) and theirs were great too! I recommend coming to S&C and then heading to the beach for a picnic. Way better than the Taco Bell!!! Last thing I'll say is the customer service has always been really nice and welcoming. Each time I've come in, everyone says hi and just makes us feel so taken care of. I don't know if they're family, but it really feels like they are, which I love in a small business. Go go GO! And there was too much sauce on the sandwich so it dripped like mad, and I had to use a ton of napkins; the sauce didn't add or subtract, which is a little sad. The tomato was tasty. Had the worst experience here. I placed an order online for a broccoli cheddar bread bowl. I go to pick it up and they tell me to wait a few minutes. I wait probably 5-10 more minutes before they again check in with me and then a manager or someone comes out and tells me they're out of the broccoli cheddar soup....at that point I had been waiting 15 minutes and I'm pretty sure they'd been out of it the whole time! I had already paid for the order on the online platform, so they offered to get me a sandwich instead. I was trying to calculate the price difference in my head so I got a sandwich and a drink and they said they'd charge me for the drink since that was extra? I said to forget the drink...I could not believe how ungenerous and unapologetic they were after making me wait as long as I had. I ordered the sandwich with no spread and yet it still had this sweet spread that I really didn't care for so overall, just such a disappointing experience. read more
