I was blown away by the professionalism, knowledge and overall kindness of both Keith and Melissa. They are a powerful team who understand customer service. And wow! I've never seen such a clean storage facility. I looked at their outdoor units (no AC), but ultimately chose an indoor unit with AC. Both are great options but being indoors means you don't have to worry about rain, snow, or heat - definite perk. I highly recommend this place and would use it again if ever needed.

Leanna Chapman is the most unprofessional office manager I have ever come across. This family owned business should be shut down due to her lack of professionalism and failure to be honest with customers. The amount of times she has been caught in a lie in just single conversation between two people is unbelievable. Then when confronted she acts like she doesn't know what is being spoke upon . Leanna verbally denied being told that there was a MICE issue in the unit I had been renting. When I personally told her staff. I have also spoke with other customers having to deal with the same issues when it comes to Leanna's lack of professionalism . Then she verbally lied and stated that payments were received late when that couldn't be possible when the payments are automatically withdrawn from a credit card . When asked for the records she denied she could even provide them to occupant on lease . She later recanted and ADMITTED the knowing about mice issue on the grounds . Now that I have spoken up with extreme frustration due to the unit being infested I am being sent a 30 day vacate . Very unsettling that after a YEAR nothing was an issue only once I started speaking up about the facilities being nasty and speaking to other customers that also noticed mice feces as well. Not to mention as soon as Leann realized I was a BLACK WOMEN she began to racially profile me and began spreading more lies . Stating I was "banging" on the office door when I have the video RECORED of knocking to turn in a 30 day move out . Leann refused to open to door so the document could be turned in ! TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! Now reading other reviews I see I am NOT the only customer to is saying the exact same thing about Leanna and the grounds ! I wish I knew then what I know NOW ! We moved our belongings from a very clean house to this storage unit when moving. We left that…read morestorage unit for 7 months. When it came time for moving day we paid for a U-Haul and paid movers to move our belongings to our new home. When they showed up asphalt was being poured right in front of our unit. We were told there were signs posted as a warning. The signs posted said the weekend before. We paid all of that for nothing with no money back. When we were finally able to move our belongings we found several mice and nests mice have made. This was utterly disgusting and ruined my sons toys, stuffed animals, and a leather couch. We contacted the property manager about this situation with mice and were told there was nothing to be done because we didn't get insurance. Absolutely disgusted with this facility. We put mice traps in our newly built home due to some of our belongings in the garage from the unit and our trap have caught mice. We may now be infested at our new home. This is a warning to anyone looking to store their belongings to never consider this place. Completely unprofessional and no compensation for our belongings or the U-Haul and movers we paid for.

I was traveling all over the country, and never worried about my stuff thanks to the manager Wilma and the staff at A1. Even when my cc was compromised they were understanding and patient. I finally had to move out today, and Wilma could not have been more helpful. If I ever need a storage unit again this is the only place in StL area I will go. Highly recommend this place if you need any size storage unit in the area. Thanks A1 !!

I will say that when I showed up the next day during office hours no one was there, but currently it seems like everyone is short staffed so that may be why. It was ok that no one was there because there was a plastic lock on the unit that I broke off and the real lock and key were waiting for me inside the unit.

Now there were 3 people using the unit and there was some miscommunication about who was paying. This is our fault. Unfortunately, they auctioned off the locker for a grand $40.00. There was something irreplaceable in there. It was a painting of my sons' sister who passed from cancer about 10 years ago. She was 15. All 3 kids were teenagers. It is the only thing we are trying to track down. We couldn't get ahold of anyone for days. Then when we did they transferred us to their call center. They aren't able to help. Called again and got vmail. Left a message and got a call back. The man was very nice. I explained to him the situation. Asked that he possibly contact the buyer and give them our contact information to see if they have the painting. He said he would see what can be done and contact the district manager and call me the next morning because he is only there for 2 hours each day in the mornings. We had hope. He did not call back. Now unknown to me my daughter in law had already tried to contact the district manager but did not receive a response back. We posted all over Facebook and 2 people said they had seen the painting and someone was trying to find the owner. They didn't remember what group it was though. I called and left another message explaining that whoever purchased the locker was trying to find the owner of the painting on FB. Hoping for a call back tomorrow. We take responsibility. We are just devastated at the lack of empathy and humanity we have been shown.
