I always get their fresh Asian vegis and they do have a lot of sales. They also have a banh mi next door if you're hungry. My parents and the rest of the family love hột vịt lộn/balut. My mom is very particular about the stage of maturity of the balut and talks to the guy to make sure she gets what she's looking for. I only noticed now that that they sell farm fresh chicken eggs also. They also have fresh quail eggs. They seem reasonably priced, so that's pretty cool. If I lived near, I'd probably by regular chicken eggs from them instead of the grocery store. I remember they once sold Vietnamese Coriander (Rau Ram) the particular herb that you eat with the hột vịt lộn, they still might. This is their wholesale location, but they have a counter and cash register for normal customers. My mom usually just stops by randomly, but I would call them for their hours of operation. In addition to hột vịt lộn, they specialize in eggs for research, vaccines, whatever you need chicken/duck eggs for.

The only negative is the employees are not friendly. When you ask an employee if they have a certain item, COMPLETE WITH PHOTO IN HAND, I've had them look the other way as if they don't speak English or they say "NO" without even looking at your photo. Fortunately, this is not always the case, but I've had that more than once. Some are helpful, but none are very friendly or overly accommodating. They also have the "fish fry" area if you'd into that. I've done it a few times when I can find fresh fish that meets my liking and it does turn out delicious and, of course, beats cooking it yourself. Overall, I'm fine here and the prices are "good"....

For meat, I grabbed ground beef, pork neck (currently on sale for $1.99/lb), and chicken breast. Prices were definitely reasonable. For produce, quite a few items were cheaper than H Mart, including enoki mushrooms, Japanese yam, daikon, shiitake mushrooms, tofu, and carrots. That said, the Japanese yam didn't look very fresh this time, so I ended up skipping it and buying it at H Mart instead, even though it was a bit more expensive. Some items were priced about the same as H Mart, like napa cabbage ($0.99/lb), onions ($0.39/lb), and bean sprouts ($0.99 per pack). One change I noticed is that cucumbers are now pre-packaged instead of being sold loose, so you can't pick them individually anymore. They're also slightly more expensive than H Mart now. They also had a great deal on Driscoll's strawberries, $0.99 for a 1 lb box, which is definitely worth picking up.
