Dr. Ramin treated root canal for one of my tooth on 5/19. His treatment was so amaging. In the past, I always having a small trouble about treatment with anesthesia. the anesthetic fluid would sometimes overflow and come into contact with the throat, causing irritation and leading to pharyngitis. However, no issues whatsoever arose during this procedure. Furthermore--perhaps because the dosage was just right--the anesthesia wore off at an appropriate pace. Of course, his treatments and explanations are very thorough. All assistants, receptionsits and accountants are very nice and friendly. I need to have treatment 2 more root canals from him and no fear. I feel very comfortable. If someone is looking for the good endodontist, I storngly reccomend him. read more

I can't tell you how impressed I am with the care I received at South Bay Endodontics. And it all started with a sudden massive toothache, when I had almost no time to think! I brush and floss daily, and I go for regular dental check ups and cleanings, so I'm not used to having dental issues. One day, though, out of the blue, I woke up to strong pain in my mouth. I went to see my regular dentist, who looked at the xray and told me I needed a root canal from a specialist. I knew Dr. Ramin Noghreian through my wife, who was a member with Dr. Ramin in the same business organization. I didn't know much about him professionally, however, so I travelled to Torrance on faith. And I'm glad I did! I was really impressed when they put me in an dental CT scan machine that just scanned my mouth. I didn't know such a machine existed! It's a good thing they have it too, because my tooth had not one nerve root, not two, but THREE nerve roots that Dr. Ramin had to artfully excise and then fill. Dr. Ramin made sure the experience was pain-free for me, and it went quite smoothly. The temporary filling Dr. Ramin put in place was so good that, when I went back to my regular dentist to get a crown put one, it took her almost 15 minutes to get it off! This is a state-of-the art practice that's also a family practice. Dr. Ramin's sister, Nooshin, is also an endodontist there, and his wife, Naze, is the office manager. You feel very welcomed when you go there. One never knows what the endodontist will find when he or she goes in to your tooth to do a root canal. (In my case, it was a 3-nerve "mess"!) I hardly gave any review, but I had to this time as I just love how Dr. Nooshin Noghreian practices her medicine as a doctor. I did not get a root canal and that was the point. I was sent by my dentist to get my hurting teeth evaluated. Dr. Nooshin Noghreian saw me twice and determined that there might be other issue causing the pain. She took the time to call my dentist and explained to her what might be an issue and scheduled me to go there right away. The issue has been dramatically improved since. Charged me $250 for no work at all. Just to sit in their chair and talk. No one told me the price of my consult when I arrived. I was sent there by another dentist who already charged me for X-rays and inspection the same day. They hit me with a $250 charge on the way out. I was there for 5 mins. I did a chargeback with my bank; they fought it, and it was reversed. I'm sure they do good work, but I am put off by the greediness and poor communication by her and the referring dentist. They should have more compassion and consideration for patients trying to ease their pain instead of trying to squeeze $$$ out of people in search of a solution. Also, it's $3500 for a root canal there for one tooth. At least that's what they quoted me. People in pain will agree to this nonsense. The lady dentist was rude after I declined her offer. $3500 to fix one tooth is greed. Dr. Lim at Torrance Smile Dentistry is a better option. He is honest and can do anything. He fixed me up for 1/10 of the cost, and I feel great. read more

I have had a lot of root canals over the years, unfortunately, and Dr. Ramin Noghreian was the best. It was an emergency, I have never been to him before, my implant Dentist referred me. Best decision. The office is beautiful and clean. The staff were all so nice, thanks Rene for all the help and Urma for being a wonderful assistant during the procedure. Dr. Noghreian has a great sense of humor! The injections to numb my tooth did not hurt. He explained everything so well and even called me personally to check on my progress he next day. The scan he did showed additional concerns, so I am going back to see him about that and there is no additional cost, it comes with the scan. He cares and even my dentist who put on the permanent crown said he has never received such a well written and detailed report from an endodontist.
