Dr. Anderson was amazing! Over the weekend, I developed the worst tooth infection and was in excruciating pain. No pain medication was helping, and on Monday morning, he was the only endodontist I could get ahold of. Even though I had never been his patient before, he made time to see me that same day. Dr. Anderson and his staff were incredibly kind and caring. He was able to treat my infection and save my tooth. I truly feel that somewhere else may have recommended pulling it, but Dr. Anderson took the time to help me. After two visits and medication, I am doing so much better! The office is very clean, has a beautiful ocean view, and they even make sure you have pain medication and water before leaving. I'm so grateful to Dr. Anderson and his wonderful staff. Never thought I'd say this... but this was an amazing root canal experience. The doctor walks you through everything in a clear, calming way so you always know what's happening. He's incredibly attentive and makes sure you feel comfortable the whole time. I also just had another root canal which proved to be an exceptionally tricky situation (we couldn't numb my tooth) but Dr. Anderson was able to solve - and keep things calm/ comfortable while he solved the situation and got the job done! I also somehow fell asleep during both procedures -- which tells you how painless and smooth he was able to make it. On top of all of this, there's parking right in front (as we know, this is huge for LA). Couldn't recommend more! read more

I've had enough of my share of root canals. I had to get 3 root canals on my top front teeth. My dentist recommended HB Endodontics. This was the easiest 3 root canals I've ever had. From the novocaine shots barely felt, to the 2.5 hour procedure. Dr. Bob was awesome. The office has only been open a year at this location, which has new state of the art equipment. It's a bit challenging to find since it's on PCH and there's no signage. Also the offices in this complex is very challenging to find. If you need a great endodontist, definitely see Dr. Bob. read more

I called earlier today for an emergency appointment due to the pain I was in. I needed a root canal asap and I called Dr. Anderson's office at 1:30 and I was in the chair by 3:45 and out with a root canal done by 5:30. Dr. Anderson listened to my concerns, he was extremely polite as was his staff, and he did amazing work. This office is a total vibe ! As soon as you walk through the door you are hit with a beautiful fragrant experience. The decor is beautifully understated and welcoming and the music completely encapsulates you. Not only that, Dr. Anderson knows every song in the playlist and hums along as he is working. While receiving an invasive dental procedure that is very comforting. Now the work itself, awesome! I had 2 root canals in one sitting with little to no post procedure pain. I cannot speak higher of my experience at Dr. Anderson's office. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a very helping staff member. I was sent via recommendation from my dentist and came in for a root canal evaluation. I was seen very quickly by a member of his staff which was followed up by Dr. Anderson. He was straight forward and to the point while at the same time making me feel comfortable. After the evaluation he was able to take care of my root canal right away. I went to see Dr. Anderson through a referral from my regular dentist. I needed a root canal and Dr. Anderson did testing and I was able to get the root canal right after his exam. The receptionist was so warm and friendly. I can't say enough about Dr. Anderson and his staff during the procedure. They walked me through what was happening. The dental assistant kept asking me how I was doing. It went so much better than I could imagine. I definitely will return to this office if I need endodontic care. I was referred to Dr. Anderson's office by my regular dentist to determine if I needed a root canal. He and his staff were all wonderful. They treated me with general concern but he was not absolutely positive that I needed the procedure. He prescribed some antibiotics and asked me to return a few weeks later. Today I returned, he found a small bone fragment lodged in my gums and he removed it and he sent me on my way. Another doctor may have just done the procedure and made the money. Some are scared of clowns, monsters, ghosts, IRS agents, etc., my fear is anything related to any type of dental/endodontics. Long story short, broke a tooth yesterday and needed a root canal. Was referred to Hermosa Beach Endodontics, gave them a call, went in for a consultation. Plenty of large parking spots. Great looking office, super clean, so far so good. Girl at the front desk, big smile/Great attitude. At this point I'm getting a little nervous as in the back of my mind I hoped for a reason to bail out of this office. (My wife wanted to call the office and ask if they could strap me down but didn't as I promised her I'd be a brave soldier) Meet Dr. Anderson, took a couple of xrays and explained options, one of those options being a procedure that would require a different type of dental doctor, thus he's honest. I decided my best option was to have him do a root canal along with installing a post (think that's what he called it). From the moment I walked in the door I was so amazed by the beautiful office. I was greeted with a warm smile by Kristin, who's simply "ahh may zing" she's most definitely the best front staffer everrrr!!!Very poise, spry and professional. I just want to walk in any establishment and be greeted by a Kristin. I had my first RCT done, and had the best experience ever. While numbing me, Dr Anderson said " you're just going to feel a little pinch." I'm still waiting for it lol The Dr was so professional as well. He explained everything to me. then, got straight to the root of my canal. My front tooth was gray, which made me a little insecure when taking to people. I would cover my mouth when talking, and sometimes hold my head down.. Dr Anderson, did some internal bleaching, and now I've regained all my confidence back, because now when I smile, I even show my back teeth. I love it. Sabrina was very pleasant, and efficient. I liked the office personnel, courteous and on top of their duties but I must rave about Dr. Anderson. For starters, his ability to handle the anesthesia injections was unparalleled, I hate that part the most, and even when a dentist is good, anesthesia handling is not always smooth. I couldn't believe how meticulous, stress free my two separate visits were. My last molar had a few deep canals that took intense persistent work to address the issue. The whole procedure went smooth and pain-free!
