I took it to the shop and was quoted $120 to weld my exhaust. I am completely unfamiliar with welding, so I thought it was a little steep. Gary took the time to inform me about the process of stainless steel welding explaining why that was his cost. The welds look better than when I got it thanks to Fabricators Welding! Definitely will be going back in the future for any of my welding needs. He also told me that if anything happens in the first two weeks, he would be more than happy to fix it for free (so definitely a + to have a small warranty).

I took an electrical panel door to CMF for powder-coating. The finished product was "just OK"…read more I dropped the project off on a Monday and was told it would take one week to complete. I called the following Tuesday and left a message for Antwione. I called again on Wednesday and left a message for Antwione. I called again on Thursday and finally got a hold of Antwione. He seemed confused by who I was but after I reminded him, he confirmed that the piece was ready for pick-up. When I picked up the piece Antwione showed me what I needed to do to reattach the door (use a screwdriver to pry the butterfly clips apart) but would not do it for me (I suppose he didn't want the liability if anything broke). He also explained that the spring latch would bounce back once the door was attached. Unfortunately, the spring latch broke the minute we got the butterfly clips back on. The door (which was warped during the process and will no longer lie flat) is now being held shut with velcro strips. He charged me $130 for the project which I later found out should have probably been in the $85 - $100 range. You can see the "hook marks" where the door was held in place during the powder-coating process but since they are on the inside of the door, I'm not going to complain too loudly. I won't bring another piece back here - there is no justification for it based on the quality, price or service received.
