Excellent service from start to finish. I needed a large window and french door panels done. I was able to send photos and estimated size of all the windows and was able to do all the estimates, type of film and scheduling all through email. I did have a few questions about type of film/privacy and was able to get my questions answered quickly. Their team came in, took care of covering my floor as they had to bring in a scaffold to get to our entryway window and cleaned up after they finished. Tyler, the owner, came out to our house in Campbell for an in-person site visit to measure the windows and show us samples of various window tint options and explained the differences and made excellent and trustworthy recommendations and turned around a very reasonably priced quote in a couple of days later. The installer came out a few days after I signed the contract and installed window film for seven large windows. Our windows look gorgeous as it came out absolutely fantastic. It blocks the glare and it's much more comfortable inside of our house. Also according to ChatGPT for the specific type of window film installed our treated windows are now more energy efficient as it roughly doubled the R value of our single pane windows from one to two! TV glare is less and at night time the street light is less intense. For the 35 grade tint privacy from the street is excellent. We don't really need to shut your shades during the day and can bird watch from inside the house so visibility to the outside is excellent. Note we are 90 feet back from the street. read more

We were looking for a window film company that would do a good job and be efficient. We found that with South Bay Window Film. Tyler was very friendly, trustworthy, and professional and he definitely knows his stuff as he was explaining to us the different types of film. He was the only company that was able to come out the same week and had a reasonable price point so we got it done. They worked quick, and were done in the same day, even removing the old window film that was all scratched up and difficult to remove that other companies had told me they didn't even want to deal with and would charge me extra for. Tyler also ended up doing our wall wrap and boy...it's beautiful! I can't stop looking at them since they are so eye catching! The seams are all lined up perfectly so you can't even tell they are different panels and Tyler even did a great job framing around the door. I highly recommend South Bay Window filming. We needed to add film to two window banks in order to reduce reflected heat that was burning the artificial lawn below the windows. Tyler responded promptly and recommended "SP Blue 75x" film from Avery Dennison. His quote was 22% less than another small window filming company using the same film product. Tyler was fantastic from the get go. I went online and got 2 quotes to tint some of the windows at our home and to frost the garage window. Tyler's quote was slightly higher than another quote we received but I instantly knew upon meeting Tyler we were going to go with him even if his quote was 2x as much or more. When we received the other quote it was rushed and the gentleman helping us didn't really care to help us pick a tint that worked best with our home, just whatever was fastest for him to stock. Also, I had thought we would do one of our windows with a tint on the top half and a frost on the bottom half, which the other company told me was fine no problem. When I asked Tyler he advised me against it due to it causing a crack in the glass (something about different temperatures and the meeting point where the tint and frost would meet would be compromised and definitely crack). So that definitely steered me away from the other company - to me they had no idea what they were doing. From the get go Tyler was the ultimate professional - responsive, timely, and friendly. He got to work immediately and was finished with all our windows (including a skylight where he had to walk on the roof!) in about 5 hours. His work is awesome and I can already feel how much cooler our house is - plus we can let in all this beautiful natural sunlight now without worrying about privacy or damaging our floors.
