Love our window tint and frost! We had 5 windows, medium to small size, in the top of our stairwell and I was conflicted about what to do with them. I like the view of the hills, but with the season change the sun shifted (we had just moved into this house over the summer) and was shining in the windows. A neighbor said she had the same issue and was looking into tinting them. I hadn't even thought of that!! We had a small window in our downstairs bathroom, one of those like above the shower. I frosted it myself with a temporary film and we just weren't happy with it. Erik's job looks so much better! And the frost film looks legit. Erik was super professional. Nice. Pleasant. Did a great job with installation, all looks very consistent. He cleaned up perfectly too! Bonus points for being as worried about a cat escaping as I was. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Erik at Crystal Shade. I called on Wednesday and setup an appointment for him to come to my house and tint my Mini Cooper on Saturday afternoon. He was right on time and extremely professional. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted but after talking with him I ended up having all six windows tinted. I know it's not technically legal but he put a very light UV tint on my windshield. We wanted to tint our garage door glass panels and a window in the bathroom. Erik gave us suggestions for each, and was more than patient with us while I debated with my husband over a dark tint for the garage or a mirror tint (we went with mirror and it looks awesome). While he was out I asked if he could take off the previous owners' bad tinting job, and for a few bucks extra he got all of the glue and purple film off from the bedroom windows. A few weeks later the painters put a giant crack in one of the glass panels on the garage door so I promptly called Erik to come out and re-tint. No hesitations: Erik is my go-to for window film. Erik is someone that you feel comfortable with having in your house... something that I didn't realize was so important until after having dozens of contractors trot through the house during the remodel. We have used Crystal Shade Window Tinting twice now. Both times the service has been excellent. We had a bathroom window frosted, and there was a lot of prep work that was needed before it would adhere to the window. Erik did a fantastic job and cleaned up the area in a very professional way. We had him come out a second time to do a sliding glass door and put a dark tint on it. It's now been about six months and it still looks great, no bubbles, peeling or fade.
