Before starting this treatment, my vision was so bad that I felt limited in a lot of things. I always had to wear glasses, and they often got in the way of the activities I love. I practice Jiu-Jitsu, ride my bike, go to the beach, and enjoy being active, but glasses made many of those things harder. Today, things are completely different. Thanks to Ortho-K lenses, both Devin and I can see clearly during the day without glasses. It may sound simple, but for us it has been life-changing. We have more freedom, more confidence, and can enjoy everyday activities without constantly worrying about our glasses. What makes this experience even better is the people. From the moment you walk into the office, everyone makes you feel welcome. The entire staff is always friendly, patient, and genuinely caring. A special thank you to Cindy, who is always so kind and helpful. She goes out of her way to answer questions and make everything easy for our family. And Dr. Roth is not only an amazing doctor, but also a wonderful person. He truly cares about his patients and takes the time to explain everything. You never feel rushed, and you can tell he wants the best outcome for every child and family he treats. We love to shop there! I would also like to thank Phil de Souza, the Director of Eyecare & Retail Operations, for his meticulous and careful selection of eyewear for my daughter and me. I called late night right before closing and he was so kind and so helpful with my situation. He went above and beyond for me! I never had such an amazing customer service like that!! Dr Teri Rose was a poor listener, did not take the time to understand what I was requesting. When I had difficulty with the glasses, she replied with what felt like an accusation that I had elective surgery to have mono-vision. I reminded her that I had a hereditary eye disease and that this had not been elective surgery. My new optometrist informed me that the driving glasses they prescribed should never have been selected for mono-vision. When I request a refund, Gould Vision never returned my call. If I had to guess, I'd say that Dr Rose hates her job, dislikes working with people, and regrets her career choice. Skip Gould Vision, and find an optometrist who will actually care about your vision needs.
