My car was hit by a hit and run driver while parked. I figured the car that hit me would have about as much damage as mine was from the hit. So my plan was to email autobody shops in the area to ask if they are repairing a car with body damage that is consistent with the damage the would have been done. I wanted to email a description of what to look for because it was a lot to explain over the phone. When I asked for the email address because it was a lot to explain over the phone the response was inapropriately hostile. I have no opinion on the quality of this shops work because I have never been a customer. But had the phone call gone amicably I might have been a customer for the repair of my damaged car. read more

This family owned operation is one I'd recommend to anyone whose car needs body work, repairs, detailing etc. I had a leaky sunroof and the recent L.A. winter rains caused stains, musty smelling carpets and a wet mess inside. Thankfully insurance covered the repairs and clean up - this was the place they recommended, although in California we have a right to repairs at any place we choose. I absolutely wanted Farmer's recommendation because they authorize and guarantee the work. They expect 100% satisfaction every time and that's comforting. Nazareth, Nancy and team were friendly, professional and enthusiastic to make the repairs and I knew I was in good hands. They delivered the service as promised, on time and as expected. My car is clean and pristine inside and the visible stains are gone. I did notice a small stain later, but seriously the inside looks so nice - most won't even know it's there. I'm certain though if it made me crazy, I could without a doubt ask Nazareth and team to shampoo it away and they wouldn't hesitate. Easy to get to, only 4-5 minutes off the 110 freeway. And if you're a Farmer's customer you even have your own parking space! Nice touch. Terrific experience at this shop. I learned Nazareth doesn't advertise so his business is 100% referrals...the place was packed when I dropped my car and picked it up - if that isn't a testament to great service and great work I don't know what is. *CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ENOUGH* I had some doubts the first time I went to this shop after my car was towed here after a pretty big accident. The space itself is a little messy and there's a big dog roving the lot, but don't let that worry you. Nazareth was super easy to deal with, and made things easy for me in a really stressful time. (And the dog is super mellow/friendly.) The quote he provided seemed very fair for the amount of damage to the car, and the work was done in a pretty timely manner. There was 1 bump in the process when picking the car up where there was a miscommunication that really inconvenienced me. While the manager of the shop rubbed me the wrong way and had a bad attitude in the mix up, Nazareth stepped in and went above and beyond to make sure he made it right. The final product is really great--my car might look better than before the accident, if that's possible. This is a trustworthy, reliable autobody shop that will make things right if they mess up (novel idea, right??). read more

The Fourth of July is generally known for backyard barbecues and fireworks, but I'll always be left with the impression of this last one; while at my parent's house, a drunk driver slammed into my unattended vehicle and sent it skidding down the block. The damage was seemingly superficial, but I really wanted to take it in and have it checked out. Enter South Coast Auto Collision. The facility was one of the only ones in my area recommended by my car insurance company, and so I trekked from Torrance to Harbor City in order for them to take a look. The owner himself was on site when I arrived with my boyfriend, and the entire process was so easy that I was taken aback. He explained the information that we would need to exchange for him to get to work, then took a comprehensive set of photos before sending me on my way. All in all, I was there for less than 15 minutes. Over the course of the next two weeks, my hunch about needing to take the car in to have it checked proved correct; the damage was much more extensive than I had initially thought, but Mr. Nazarian was in touch the entire way through the repair process. From when I dropped my car off off to the time that I picked it back up, he was prompt with photos and estimates, informative about the claim that I was filing and the repairs necessary for my vehicle, and accommodating with payment and pickup. They provided really helpful, professional service and were clear and honest about what they would do and how it would be done. They gave me a clear estimate and definite time frame with deadline and they stuck to it, actually completing the work early. They were always available by phone and took me to and from rental car lot. They posted photos online showing all of the progress while the work was done and handled the insurance company for me. I am very pleased with the work they did on my 2004 Mustang...my whole front bumper was destroyed including the front tip of my hood. I got rear ended a couple of weeks ago, I was in search of a body shop that could fix the damage like it never happened and in a timely fashion. I was referred here by a coworker, he had an excellent experience here so I took his word for it. He wasn't kidding. They fixed my car in a quick and professional manner. I was pleasantly surprised. I drive a Lexus LS430 with a premium paint job, the paint is very hard to find and very unique. They did an excellent job.
