The level of education provided seems different than that of a regular public or magnet school. The amount of homework given is definitely more than most, but my daughter has soared since attending school here. Her 1st Grade teacher is amazing and still checks on her even though she is no longer in her class. (I am not including her name to keep other teachers from being jealous ) The parents are active in the school as well. They recently held an event called SMACK Night where it dealt with Science and Math activities (Science and Math Activities Connecting Kids). This is not the only event that the school holds. They beautify their campus by Campus Cleanups. They have a Butterfly Garden. All of the activities get the parents and students involved with the school as well as develop pride in the school as well. Mr. Calzadilla is a great principal, and he has amazing Asst. Principals, teachers, and Support Staff as well. OH, most importantly, the school has been an A school for many years and it is a Green School as well. As I spoke with him and talked about my goals of passing the CCNA he wanted me to start with their A+ starter program first. I advised him that I was already working as a technical representative and wanted to focus on the CCNA. Mr. Lynch refused to enroll me into their CCNA program. I proceeded to buy the CCNA books on my own and self study. Just passed the CCNA on my own with no help from Robert Morgan.

Administrators are sometimes dismissive and unprofessional. If you are choosing to go here, do NOT PICK DIGITAL MEDIA AS YOUR ACADEMY. My level of work stress has significantly increased since my decision to attend this school. I have excellent grades, A's and B's, but this school is so bad I truly don't recommend it. I wish I never went here. This school was probably much better in the past, but it definitely fell off. The kids aren't that awful from my experience; it's the schools and how they do things. Honestly, as I think about moving for my senior year, I regret wasting the past three years here; I feel that I truly learned nothing. There are some amazing teachers who I believe should work in a place where their work would be highly appreciated. And also most of the academics are underfunded and waste their money on stupid morals.
