The brands they stock are thoughtful and considered. You can browse through a rack of Massachusetts brand Penfield, Brooklyn's The Hill-Side and Copenhagen's fresh menswear line Norse Projects (the only place in Philly that carries this brand). P's & Q's also offers up home goods and skincare from eco-conscious brands like Izola and Baxter. The back of the store showcases beautiful hardcover tomes from Taschen Books and U.S. stationery brand Field Notes. The shop also carries their own line of T shirts with smart and bold graphics created in-house. What I like most about P's & Q's is not their stocklist but their overall vibe. The design of the interior is gorgeous. There is wood everywhere including the floors, shelving units and islands. There is something about wood that is just naturally inviting and warm. The occasional incense stick helps also to relieve the stress of shopping (it's hard for dudes sometimes). The entire staff is also super friendly and helpful, and most of all laid back and unpretentious. There is nothing worse than dropping a few hundred dollars in a shop and leave feeling like they did YOU the favor! P's & Q's showcases their own interests and sense of style as apposed to following the latest trends or letting blog posts from Hypebeast dictate their inventory. They also focus on brands that have eco and socially conscious business practices, this is something that is very important to me. I always read about cool menswear shops in London, New York and LA and think to myself "Why Can't Us?" to quote the famous 2008 Phillies slogan. Finally there is a place right here in Philly that offers smart style in a beautiful storefront that is both welcoming and comfortable to shop in.

I had only ordered from Shibe through mail order until my last visit to Philadelphia. Then, as I'm killing time and walking around before a concert, I walked past their physical shop. I had to duck in. Lots of Eagles Super Bowl swag, stickers, shirts and hats. I purchased Phils and Birds stickers and a really cool Phillies knit cap. Prices are way more competitive than I would've expected from a place located in the heart of the city. One interesting thing, while I was perusing the shop a person walked in and asked the employees "Do you sell anything aside from Philly teams?" The answer "Absolutely not". Recently I bought a 30$ corset top, tried it on, and realized it just wasn't my color and I didn't like the design on me like I thought I would. So literally a day after I bought this top, I try to return it, and the person behind the counter says she can't accept it because the top was damaged. She pointed to these little white marks which I feel were very unlikely to have been caused by me as I had nothing that would change the color of the dye, but even if she was right that meant the top was not made out of quality material and $30 was an outrageous price to pay for it since it got ruined in a single night. I didn't even wear it for long. I could just as easily go to the rainbow across the street and buy something from clearance for 5$ that won't get ruined from a single wear and last me for several years. Yet Eternity insists on charging $50 for a lot of these items. It's a waste of your time and your money, honestly might as well stick to hot topic because at least they'll give u a full refund if anything breaks too fast.
