While sitting in the examining room waiting for the doctor to come into my room I over heard a conversation. The doctor was with a patient that was very sick. Apparently this patient did not have insurance or he had bad insurance. This patient needed to see several specialists. Instead of the doctor just getting rid of this poor man who felt scared and hopeless Dr Pullen made many phone calls until he found a specialist to would treat the patient. I personally could write a book on how many doctors I have been to in my life that just give you 5 minutes and then run to see the next patient. I went to see Dr Pullen because I have been having a problem for several years. I have been to many doctors who ordered a lot of tests. I was being treated for several things because all of the doctors were not sure of what the problem was. Dr Pullen was able to diagnose my problem immediately. It is comforting to finally have a diagnosis and to be able to get off some of the meds I have been taking. Dr Pullen spent a lot of time with me and made sure that I understood everything that he said. He also encouraged me to call him anytime I had any questions. It's rare to find a brilliant doctor who is friendly and kind. I was able to tell that he loved being a doctor and that he loved helping his patients.

Maybe because this doctor misrepresents the true severity of the diagnosis, prognosis, and legit treatment options, and regular people don't understand: He gets away with it. But at the end of the day, after he has biopsied your wallet he just laughs all the way to the bank. Out-of-date & no-longer-deserving of his colleagues respect, he should be put out to pasture or sent to the glue factory, because he's not galloping in for any one's rescue, like in the old days of true doctoring. Based on my husband having Melanoma 2 years prior and the reason for the biopsy in the first place was a nodule which he had for 7 years on his Thyroid became vascular. My husband and I agreed ANY percentage chance that it could be cancer to go ahead and remove half of his thyroid. We were lucky, it was not cancer. Glad that we had one of the nicest, caring and down to earth Doctor/Surgeon I have ever met. His assistant or NP or PA was also wonderful. Sorry for not knowing her title but really great group.
