    Applause Your Paws

I sent my dog, Luna, to a three-week board-and-train program at Applause Your Paws in Miami, and I…read morecouldn't be happier with the results. After six months of searching and speaking to trainers across multiple states and Canada, I found them through a TikTok video. When I called, Taryn's incredible customer service, patience, and empathy made the process so much easier. She answered all my questions and worked with me on payments to create the best package for Luna. Before drop-off, I met Wil during an unplanned tour, and his honesty and confidence reassured me I was making the right choice. Wil went above and beyond during Luna's training. Knowing I was anxious, he modified the standard report cards to include videos with voiceovers explaining her progress and the reasoning behind each exercise. This thoughtful gesture made me feel connected to the process and will help me reinforce her training at home. Before the program, Luna was reactive--not aggressive but overly excitable. After three weeks, she's still her fun, wacky self, but now she listens, follows commands, and stays calm around other dogs. While there's still work to do, her foundation is strong, and I'm confident moving forward. Luna is now a service dog in training, and Applause Your Paws laid the groundwork to make that possible. I'm already planning to send her back this summer because they're amazing at what they do. I'm so grateful to Wil, Taryn, and the entire team for their care and dedication!

I would strongly advise anyone considering AYP Training to think twice before sending their dog…read morethere. After having our dog for 24 days, it became very clear there was a complete lack of communication, professionalism, and understanding of our living situation. We live in a high-rise condo, yet somehow they spent weeks training our dog to go outside in a backyard setting -- something that does not apply to our home at all. How this was never clarified during nearly a month of training is beyond concerning. What's even more upsetting is that our dog came back terrified of car rides, which was never an issue before. As owners, that is heartbreaking to witness. After reviewing the videos and conditions of the trainer's home, we were honestly shocked. The house appeared trashed, chaotic, and nowhere near the professional environment we were promised when paying for "professional" dog training services. Nothing about this experience reflected the level of care, structure, or quality that was advertised. We invested a significant amount of money trusting this company with our dog, and the results were disappointing from start to finish. Between the misrepresentation, poor communication, and lack of professionalism, this experience felt extremely misleading. Save your money and do your research before trusting this company with your pet.

I did about 4-5 one-on-one private sessions with her and then did several day-training sessions - this is where you drop the dog off in the morning and she works on teaching them commands or works on whatever issues they have (aggression, anxiety, fear, etc) and they also spend some playtime at the dog park. When I would drive up to Rocco's, my dog would get so happy and excited - this is how I know that she was in good hands. Leby would send me a daily report on my dog's progress or if she had any setbacks that day. She would also suggest techniques that I could use at home to help my dog with her anxiety/aggression issues and how to teach her commands. You can tell that Leby truly loves animals and that she loves what she does. Your dog is in good hands with Leby.

My wife Susie and I are happy to recommend Rocco's to anyone who needs a responsible dog walking service.

Before the sessions she would run out whenever the door was open and she would jump on the counter but by the time they were done she was super obedient and did (almost) everything she was asked (she's still a puppy). Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a trainer. Thank you so much Rebecca!

She was very responsive, caring, and reliable. She came to my house on the first session to meet Charlie, who is a 3 year old white schnauzer. He greed her as he always used to do (barking a lot and being protective of me). Rebecca changed his behavior right on the first session! It was incredible! She taught me and my husband what to do for Charlie to stop barking while he is in the balcony or when someone knocks at the door. She also taught us the right way to walk him w/o letting he pull us, and how to stop him to bark at other dogs. Me and my husband started to practice what Rebecca taught us with Charlie right away. A week later she came back and Charlie was already a different dog. He is more responsive, he is walking better and we are working for him to greed other dogs more calmly. Rebecca is also helping us to have Charlie socialize with other dogs. We went to a great dog park in Coconut Grove last week and the session was a success. I was so happy to see Charlie playing and being himself with other dogs. I do still feel a little nervous that he is going to be protective over me or do something towards another dog. My homework is to keep going to that park to have Charlie socialize with other dogs and I am going to keep doing that practicing all that Rebecca have taught me. I really appreciate her and I know I can count on her with her amazing professional skills and love for dogs. I one hundred percent recommend her as a dog trainer! You won't regret it. You and your pet will be more than happy with the results!

Though I have had dogs my whole life, I recently became a 1st time German Shepherd mom and quickly…read morerealized that this breed is in a class of its own. My boy, Rex, is super smart and eager to please, but he is also a fast-growing and powerful animal, so I knew that I needed to be absolutely sure how to best handle him. I did a ton of research and completed a few evaluations at various training facilities before deciding to go with Rush K-9 Doral. They were definitely not the cheapest option, but I could tell from just the evaluation that they truly know what they are doing and that they genuinely care about the dogs they train. Before I even left the evaluation appointment, I decided to sign up and make the investment. Now that Rex has graduated from their basic obedience course, I can say without hesitation that this investment was well worth every penny and then some! Rex is a different dog and I am a different handler, both for the better. He no longer pulls me on our walks and no longer barks, growls or lunges at strangers. He is much more attentive to me as his handler and much more responsive to commands. Best of all, the trainers at Rush K-9 helped me learn how to improve the bond between me and my dog. We have a better connection now than we did before his training and thanks to the trainers' expert advice, I now know how to keep that going and reinforce everything he has learned. Rex loved going to train and is already missing the trainers. I definitely plan to continue Rex's training with more advanced obedience soon and won't even consider using a different trainer because I believe that all the amazing trainers at Rush K-9 are as good as it gets. If you are looking for highly professional trainers who know exactly what they are doing and will get you the results you need, look no further than Rush K-9. You won't be disappointed and your dog is worth it!

Diesel saved my life, and K9 Rush Doral, helped me save him…read more Cesar, Alexandra and Alaya are without doubt, what they say to be. My life with Diesel, my almost two years old Sheperd/mallinois, has changed thanks to ACA Center Doral. It took me almost 9 months to reserve a training spot with them, and to save up for the program. The hard work paid off. I recommend this center to all owners seeking professional proper training, or, as in my case with Diesel, rehabilitation for pups and owners who have been through life altering experiences. It took only a week with Diesel, followed by 4 individual sessions, for Cesar to teach me, only after winning himself the heart and trust of Diesel, how to really communicate with my dog, to finally understand on a biological/organic level, the mind and body of my dog, leading me to connect with Diesel, teaching Diesel to want to connect with me. For a trained dog will not succeed without the adequate handler and correct leadership, this is where Cesar comes in giving you true facts and reasoning. I must mention we had completed two previous training programs, which only led to more trauma and fear. I was heartbroken and desperate to help my puppy. Cesar, Alexandra and Alaya, are the only trainers, I am grateful I found them. They gave me the tools to build a real bond with Diesel, we have much we want to learn yet, so having already finished our first program, we are still coming back for a next one. Witnessing Diesel's joy and excitement when he runs into the center so happy to see them, is priceless, which by the way, had met the team with a muzzle on which Cesar removed, is proof alone of their work and dedication. My dog is now, happy and healthy. I wish this for every dog and owner, and ACA Doral is where you can make this happen.
