As north Everett residents, one of our favorite things to do is take a stroll through Grand park and down to the waterfront. We always carve out time to stop at SFBC for some tasty breakfast, a treat or coffee! Great little spot, friendly staff and quality food/drink. read more

Today was our first visit to this bakery, we've seen it before on walks but we were either too early or too late in the day. Though most reviews at SF Baking are really good, we were disappointed with most of what we had. Ordered a breakfast sandwich on sourdough, with bacon and an extra egg for $1. Thought we'd split it, thinking $12.00 it would be decent size and flavorful. Sourdough rounds are small, eggs must come in precooked (thin and very flat), the slice of cheese wasn't melted at all. They have a single small hot griddle so food is slow to come out. They do not have drip coffee which is fine so we had Americanos which other places are really good. Both were watered down/weak, not bold flavor as they should be. The good item was the Lemon Curd Danish. Pastries all looked great and definitely must be the core of their business as well as the mochas and lates which we observed coming out w/fancy decoration on top. Basically for $30.25, before tip, for what we got, unfortunately not worth it. read more

Randomly stumbled upon this bakery while walking the pier and so glad that we did! This placed offered a variety of delicious baked goods and we ended up with the strawberry coconut cream croissant and huge rice krispie treat. Both were amazing! Rice krispies weren't stale at all and croissant was perfectly baked with delicious filling. I also ordered a caramel machiatto and it was one of the best I ever had! It had a great punch of caffeine with the right amount of sweetness. Highly recommend this bakery and can't wait to come back! read more

Met a friend here for coffee and baked goods! By far, the best iced caramel macchiato I've ever had. I drank it so slowly because I wanted to savor it. I got the Bacon, Egg sandwich with a biscuit - I should've gotten it with the bagel. The biscuit was far too large and kind of hard, but besides that my kids loved their selection of cookies and you can't beat a coffee shop next to the waterfront with cute decor! Cute little cafe with delicious food and drinks. They have a variety of pastries and sandwiches. They have specialty drinks and classic coffee drinks. I recommend trying their specialty drinks. I've been here multiple times and it's been good every time. The staff is always friendly and happy to answer questions. If it's a nice day out it's really nice to sit outside. This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Everett! Such a cute location for a coffee date. The coffee is really really good. Everything tastes incredibly high quality and made with care. They often rotate their specials which makes it fun to pop back in and see what's new. Every single baked treat is fantastic! Go early if you want to have the best selection as they do sell out of pastries and treats. They also serve Whidbey Island Bagel Company bagels here.... if you know you know. I have been a fan of South Fork/Katherine for a long while now before she opened up her store. Famers markets, espresso stands etc. Every single item I have ever tried has been great. Rice crispy treats are full of marshmallow goodness and so delicious. Best peanut butter cookie I have had hands down. I live close by and finally got the opportunity to make a stop in. Stayed next door for a work trip and got my brekkie from this spot every morning for three days. The sandwich on a homemade biscuit with ham, egg and jam is to die for. I had high expectations because I'd heard good things. The cinnamon roll with cream cheese-excellent. Great frosting to roll ratio and the roll itself was soft and flavorful. The bees knees latte was absolutely awful. I had my companion taste it. Tasted like salted milk. Couldn't drink it. Also ordered the 'jammy hammy' on a plain bagel. The bagel was way too soft, like white bread. No chewyness to it. The jam went everywhere. The Swiss cheese was high quality and the ham was good, but the sandwich didn't hold together and the poor bagel wasn't worth it. I had a couple bites and left the rest. We also ordered the veggie bagel breakfast sandwich. Nice veggies and well seasoned. Would order that again but I don't see visiting that often. We came to their grand opening today and everything was delicious! Got cinnamon buns, cookies, and a pesto bun. There was a long wait with the line down to the parking lot but it was definitely worth it. Location is great and right by the water. Plenty of parking. Great ambiance. Only complaint was that my 2 cinnamon buns were squished into one small box. So they were squished into each other and the frosting stuck onto the inside of the box. Very excited about this new bakery! There was a line out the door today (Opening Day!) but it moved right along. The staff couldn't have been more gracious, thanking everyone for their patronage and patience. We ordered a blackberry scone, Soprano sandwich and took home a small cream cheese caramel spice cake. Everything was delicious, the blackberry scone was fresh from the oven, and soooo good. It was served w a side of butter. The inside was dense with a great texture and the outside had a little light crunchy thing happening (like caramelized sugar) and the blackberry filling was superb. The Soprano sandwich was grilled in a panini press I think, it was made fresh right there in front of me- really tasty with a good ratio of filling to bread. All the sandwiches looked good, even the prepared ones in the fridge. The cake was best at room temperature, it was really good as well. I thought the prices were very reasonable. The vibe of the place is very happy, fresh and bright. And lots of seating available with great marina views. Can't wait to come back and try some of the pastries they were sold out of today.
