If you love your pet, please don't take them here. The vet and woman at the front desk are very nice, helpful and professional, but the front desk/grooming staff leave a lot to be desired and nice doesn't help when the ball is being dropped. They don't follow through on auto refills, you drop your dog off into a black hole for appointments & grooming. Dogs are laying on concrete while waiting to be bathed and my old dogs joints got so stiff, I had to give him Rimadyl. I had no idea what was wrong with him after picking him up. He wouldn't go for a walk and just limped around. I brought him back the next day worried and they informed he that he was lying on concrete and must have gotten stiff and sold me joint chews. Um, YEAH. He's 8, 100+ and had 2 TPLO knee surgeries, he shouldn't be laying on the concrete. Of course I had to pay for that emergency visit. Never again. Ya'll got me because you were close, but I'd drive 100 miles for a vet that really takes care of my pet. read more

They refused to let us leave with our pup if we didn't pay for a service we never agreed upon. The team below dropped the ball on this one. Janky business at best! The Vet is a lovely lady, but she needs to check on her front office staff. Try calling the office... if you don't get voicemail, they pick up and immediately place your on hold for 15+ minutes!!! Don't even try to schedule a grooming appointment. It's a cattle call in the a.m. (that is, if you get an appointment that's not 3 weeks out). They can't seem to keep a groomer, so the grooming is never consistent. It's always hit or miss. I found a mobile groomer. Better service and better price. Looking for a new veterinarian now. read more

I took my male puppy to have an Eye Surgery ,he had a Cherry Eye .He was scheduled to have it taken out on 3/19/2020 . We took him there that morning at 8:30 and we was told to come back at 3:30 ,so we did . However Dr.Regina Hyde - Nance did the eye surgery and it turned out great . Then she took it upon herself to Neutered my dog without permission and my husband and I was very very upset and I cried cause I was Furious. I will tell you to watch out for a Doctor who make her own decision without your permission . After surgery the next day my Mastiff Preso Carnario became very Aggressive , Wild , very Negative Behaviors . He is not the same Sweet Puppy with a Even Temperament . With that I am Dissatisfied with that doctor. read more

It takes an incredibly gifted and special person to be a veterinarian. It's even more of a gift when you are sympathetic to those who see their pets as their children. I knew right from the non welcoming staff I should have turned around and walked out. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Ms. Doctor, for you not to even speak or offer "we're here for you when your ready" as you watched me walk out was very unprofessional and sad. read more

Nice people, terrible service for grooming. My dog was unable to move freely or be touched for approximately 10 days.

Im not sure what happened but this place isn't the same anymore. I've brought my dog her for over 2 years to get groomed by Keith. Once the Pandemic hit I was told he didn't work there anymore. What ever they did to my dog, she doesn't like being touched on her adomen now and she doesn't act the same either. I ask them to cut her nails and they didn't. They even forgot to give her a urine test and didn't tell me until the next day after I paid and brought my dog home. They even suggested I get a sample of my dog's Urine and bring it to them even though I had already paid them for it. They lost a loyal customer. read more

Terrible job absolutely terrible job. I went because my 5 month old puppy broke his paw and when I got him back they put a cast on him and said in 2 week we would have to recast it which would be 65$ on top of the already 300$ I had paid. I'm so mad right now, what did I give you 300$ for. Did u even care for my dog, his skin is peeling off from the cast as all the cotton that was placed in the cast has already fallen out. I will not be returning here ever not even for a check up. They need to re-evaluate how they are doing there job or they will mess up someone else's dog seriously. read more

Dr. Hyde-Nance & Staff are so caring and go out of their way to ensure my cat, Atticus, gets timely care with a gentle touch to help with his being nervous & frightened. What a great vet! This truly is one of those rare gems, and I am lucky to have it just down the road from me. The owner (Dr. Regina), and staff, had me smiling within seconds of my first time walking through the door. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Business owner/Doctor who gets defensive when you tell her that there are issues in her business. Groomers who loose your $60 collar and never both to replace it. Vet techs who leave catheters in your pets. They also contract out certain work, like teeth cleaning! Overall crappy service and not CHEAP! I tried to support local business but the attitude is horrible not to mention the lack of diversity within their staff. I always felt uncomfortable there. This review is a few years late, but if you love your pet like a child, you should definitely come here. I had a pet that had lymphoma and Dr. Nance treated my Jack as if he were her own. The care from the staff and the personal attention has been the main reason I still come back here. They are VERY PET FRIENDLY!! I have NEVER had an issue. Even if it was someone new at the front desk, they are still respectful. One thing I learned about vet care is that it's no different than human healthcare. You deserve the best and so does YOUR DOG! The grooming services are not expensive, try taking your dog to a boutique groomer. Some of them are charging you for the AIR your dog will breathe while they are there. I think people have to change their mentality on what pet ownership is. Again, if you want a VET that will take VERY good care of your dog, I recommend coming here. read more

Dr. Regina and her staff are amazing. They know my pets by name and take good care of them when they board. Grooming services are excellent and they are attentive to any issues your pet might have. Groomers have no problem calling if they think your pet might need to see the vet and they are fairly priced. I've been coming here since moving to the area and will continue! read more

I called to make an appointment for the Bordetella vaccine. I asked only for that vaccine and was given the appointment for the following Monday. The person who gave me the phone explained in detail what the Bordetella was and how it would be administered. Come Monday and I get the invoice, they charge me $90. I call and the person that answered the phone states the dog had an exam and other vaccines. I asked why, when I made the appointment for only the Bordetella. She gave me a story of how some "notes mention rabies and the other vaccines". I explained to her I don't know how that is when all I asked for was the Bordetella. My dog had its shots with another vet and was up to date so why would I agree to those. When I first got my puppy, I took him here because it was the neighborhood vet but I didn't get a good feeling so I found another one. The lady on the phone took it upon herself to schedule the others when she saw we had not come back to them when what she should have done was called to question whether he was up to date and if not do I want the other vaccines. They had already given the dog the shots. I spoke to the vet and explained to her that it was not about the money or the extra shots but the process of how everything went down. Why would I consent to extra shots when I know my dog has them. She never discussed anything else with me when I made the initial appointment but scheduled more vaccines and that is unacceptable. She wouldn't own up to any wrong doing. I should have went with my first mind and not taken him back but I needed the Bordetella in a rush but never again. read more

South Fulton Pet Care is an excellent place to take your pet. I have a 2 yr old Shih Tzu and he has been going ever since I got him at 8 weeks old. The staff is nice, friendly & knowledgeable. My dog loves them as well. Dr. Regina is super awesome. She is a no nonsense vet & tells you the truth even if you don't want to hear it. The staff knows my dog and I by name. His tail wags every time we go. He also gets groomed there by Keith. He is awesome too. He comes out & goes over what I want & does an excellent job. I am relatively new to the area and decided to take my pet based on previous posted reviews. I was able to make a timely appointment, the office was bright, clean and inviting. The staff seemed a bit frazzled as though they were new at what was happening at the front desk. When I attempted to explain the services I wanted for my dog, the receptionist pointed to a women standing in the lobby with me and responded "that is your groomer". I was greeted by the groomer, she never introduced herself. When I explained what services I wanted, I was quoted rates that were the most expensive I have EVER paid at a groomer. The turn around time was quick. My dog received a choppy cut that reflected, just get the job done. Given the price I paid, I was expecting a nice blended cut without a lot of lines in his coat. I will continue looking for a more affordable groomer with a people and pet friendly staff. read more

My pet has visited South Fulton Pet Care on 3 occasions for shots and grooming. My son took my dog in the first time and I took him the second and third. When I picked-up my dog from his second visit, the vet came out to speak, she was very friendly. as I was paying the bill she looked at the computer and stated " oh you owe $11 from the last visit" and she began talking about how her computer software had a flaw and she needed to make adjustments and "we did not charge for one of his shots" so I ended up paying 11 dollars more than expected. Now this is a year later and she is asking for 11 dollars that she said THEY forgot to charge. The way I feel about this is , if your staff makes an error, then that is not the fault of the customer,. I decided to let it go and not let that influence my decision to not use their services again.Now a year later, I take my pet in for his shots, all but the boarding shot, which he doesn't need. I was quoted over the phone $80.69 which I confirmed when I got to the visit. The staff at the desk asked if I wanted to get the grooming and I said yes go ahead. The groomer said that he would try to work my dog into his schedule. approximately 10 minutes later I called and told the staff to cancel the grooming until the next week. She said ok, I stated please make sure you tell the groomer, she said ok. When I went to pick up my pet, of course the fee was more than quoted, the Vet again came out to look at the bill and stated that I owed $145. I said no, it is $80.69, then the Vet said to me when you called it was too late the groomer had already wet your dog. She asked " did anyone call you, to let you know?", I said no, the girl at the front desk said we called but we didn't reach you, then she proceeded to call out an incorrect number that they had on file for me. There are several issues I have (1) I believe the staff never told the groomer that I called and cancelled the grooming (2) I also think the staff made up a number to cover herself because they have called me before and (3) the vet tried to tell me that I again owed money from last year and when I told her that I had paid the bill in full even the $11 additional dollars that I knew nothing about. She then gave the same story from a year ago about her software and how she needed to adjust it. My final bill for that visit was $97.69. My question for the Veterinarian is, what's most important, getting every penny you can from your customer while you can or making sure that you do what is fair and provide good customer service which will result in building a long-term relationship? I could have been a great referral source, but now I only have a negative experience to remember. I will NEVER utilize there services again. read more
