Alterations are pricey - $12 to hem a pair of pants - should only be $5-7 max

It also had a crease running along front of dress, making the dress two toned. They wouldn't take responsibility or even apologize for their shotty work. They wouldn't speak english in front of me and were laughing. They told me to take dress and go. No charge. Nice of them to not charge me for jacking up prom dress! The dress looked worse than when I brought it in with only a couple stains. Don't Go There!!!!

The initial drop off went well, they offered me a free bag and a barcode keytag, to make future trips easier. As I always do, I took each article of clothing out of my clothes bag and laid them out on the counter, putting the shirt collars together for a proper count. Three days later I received a short voicemail from a teenaged-sounding voice saying "one of your Taylorbyrd shirts was damaged when you dropped it off, so we could not clean it." When I went to pick my clothes up, I was shocked. My shirt had gaping holes in it and was in tatters. The woman kept saying "too fragile, we cannot clean", but the shirt no longer smelled of cologne, it smelled of cleaning solvent. It had clearly been cleaned. There was a large round discolored ring on the shirt where a can of chemicals must have been placed. I was dumbfounded, but have received little from other drycleaners in the past for damage, so rather than focusing on a settlement, I just asked her to explain what happened. She kept saying "we cannot clean" and finally called her husband up front. He almost immediately offered to take $30 off of my $64 bill, making it clear to me he was well aware they had destroyed this shirt. I took the offer and left after some more discussion translated by their young son who they called on the telephone. $30 for a $150 shirt I had worn twice. Needless to say, I won't be back.

If you need somewhere to just quickly wash some bulk items, this place will do. Came in on a…read moreTuesday afternoon. There were a few people in there but I was able to start washing immediately. PROS: Lots of washers and dryers of various sizes and counter space to fold. There are also a couple of carts if you need something to transfer your stuff from washer to dryer. (Helpful because I forgot to bring a basket). All the dryer and washer doors lock once you press start -- so I felt comfortable sitting out in my car while my things were washing/drying. The prices are reasonable -- I washed a King sized comforter, 2 king sized throw blankets, a Queen sized mattress cover, a Queen sized fitted sheet, and 4 king sized pillow cases. To do this I ended up using 2 large washers ($6.00 each) and two large dryers that I added steam press and reversible rolling to for 60 minutes ($3.75 each) for a total of $19.50 for it all. I paid using quarters I brought with me but I saw there was a quarter machine and a QR code to pay through an app, if preferred. I could have probably fit everything into 1 dryer to save a little money -- as the big one is quite large -- but I didn't want to risk slowing down the dry time by over stuffing. If I compare this to other laundry mats that I've been to in the area, I would say it's on the cheaper side. I was in and out in under 2 hours. CONS: I agree with the other reviews -- this place is filthy, the floors especially. I set down a garbage bag I was using and when I picked it back up, the bottom was covered in dirt. While there are lots of washers and dryers, I would say 1/3 of them were broken or out of use. There's a bathroom on-site but it requires a code to use and there's no attendant there to provide it to you. The rinse cycle on the washer was okay but my pillow cases got tumbled into the comforter so when I took them out they were still very wet and I had to ring them by hand before putting them in the dryer. There's a very underwhelming sign that says the last wash is at 9:00pm, but with the door propped open you could easily miss it and walk right past it -- so just be aware of that. Parking can be challenging and the spots are mostly compact. OVERALL: If I was pressed for time I would come back here because it's the closest to my home and ultimately, I got what I needed washed and dried. That being said -- if I had more time to drive a little further, I would choose somewhere that's cleaner, has accessible bathrooms, and an on site attendant. Vending machines would have been nice here too.

If I could give them a no star then I would. The owner and…read morethe son called me FAT (hand motions and all) because they "couldn't get my wedding dress back in the bag it came in" Plus they used harmful chemicals and turned my dress yellow and small burnt spots in places. All I asked was for it to be steamed to get the wrinkles out for my wedding the coming weekend. Oh made me pre-pay prior to doing the actually completing the job hired for, I'm too trusting. The owner accused me of me making the damage to my brand new dress, that I haven't had a wedding to wear it to yet, and ruining it myself. Then he decides to keeps it to "get the stains out". I knew it wasn't going to work, it was ruined. So I went back the next day to pick it up, of course no better. He then proceeded to try and charge me again for cleaning it. Not paying sir!!! Proceeds to yell at me with his son to leave his store and talk down to a crying bride to be!!! So not only did this cause me emotional stress and I had to go buy a new dress last minute. $$$ I couldn't truly afford. PLEASE don't make the same mistake, do research on dry cleaners and read up on how they do this on purpose to ladies wedding gowns. I also learned I do not have a leg to stand on, they get away with this often. Ladies be sure to take your dress to a legit place that cares for your gowns! He never gave me my money back or to replace my dress and of course didn't even apologize to me. I was just in such shock I didn't even stand up for myself the way I should've. Here is the karma that he put out in the universe. If my experience and honesty saves one person from the pain I went through it is worth everything!
