I have been looking for a new dentist office since the one I once went to lost my trust, I started in November 2024 and I explained to them that I haven't been to a Dentist in 3 years. My remaining teeth were beyond repair being broken and so on, I explained that I wanted to have them all removed and denture's put in The woman cleaning my teeth listened to me very well when I told her to becareful with the cleaning and she did just that. The dentist removed a few teeth then told me she will remove the rest after the holidays so I can enjoy it. Before I returned though South Main Dental called me to tell me that the Dentist actually left the practice, like literally left and never returned. I was upset because she was gentle with me, but another dentist came in and took over her isn't like the lady yes he pulled a few teeth out also but afterwards he didn't prescribe me ibuprofen and amoxicellin. I ended up with infected gums and thank goodness I had a little left of each to help me get through the pain I was dealing with. I just wish dentist offices had a policy to when teeth are pulled make sure the patient goes home with those two items. read more

this place is unclean, you m make an appointment and have to wait. is pointless. the dr don't know what's going on. is all over the place.

terrible customer service. Just a see how many patients they can push through in a day. The dentist I started with just upped and left. now because of insurance reasons I have to stay and finish what was started. If you cannot tolerate pain then I suggest you go else where. I've been waiting for my dentures for over 2 months now,which should have only taken a couple of weeks. Just do yourself a favor and find another dentist if you can. I went due to a change in insurance. It was close, and I just needed a cleaning. The only reason I am giving this place two stars is because I had issues with my insurance when I arrived and they were very helpful in getting it worked out. After that, this experience was negative. The dental hygienist was old enough to have been in the Civil War. She was rude, not prepared and other hygienists were having to tell her what to do. When she started cleaning my teeth, it was more pain than I've ever felt with dental or orthodontic work. She was rough, made rude comments because I had a cavity (due to autoimmune causing frequent acid reflux). Once the dentist came in, he was even more rude. Accusing me of eating more sugar and sodas, when I tried to explain to him it was due to a medical condition I was talked over and my responses disregarded because it wasn't the answer he wanted. The most disturbing part was the cleanliness. Rust and damage to the room was evident. I expect a dental office to at least be clean on the surface... who knows how clean the equipment is. Felt gross after being there. For obvious reasons, I am getting further dental work and cleanings done elsewhere. If you can, avoid this place. read more

Went to South Main Dental and was pleasantly surprised with the service once again. Usually my little one doesn't come with me but I didn't have a choice as he wasn't feeling the best. During my apt the ladies at the front desk took him and made sure he was okay while I was getting my teeth done. They were pleasant and gentle and understanding! Shiane was very good with him and Casie was great with working with me and giving me updates on him while I was in the chair! The ladies here make you feel apart of a family whenever you come in, they have a patient for life! read more

I was traumatized by the dentist at south main dental I left in excruciating pain crying my eyes out this dentist was horrible!!! he extracted my tooth and did it brutally he wasn't gentle at all ! He pinched my lip in his devices at least 4 times enough to make me start crying hysterically by the time I realized how horrible of a dentist he was it was too late to leave with him prying my tooth out he has terrible Dr. Patient manners as well I cannot believe he even has any clients at all or was I just treated horribly because I have state insurance ? I was scared or dental work before his nightmare of care was giving now I need more work and I'm so so scared it will be painful again and just so awful oh and the office smells and has nasty outdated furniture as well makes me wonder if they actually clean the dental tolls like they should I saw some dirty things left out on a table as well Don't GO HERE THEY ARE HORRIBLE DENTISTS I was in pain after for almost a week with no help from them as well as leaving in tears he didn't even apologize to me for hurting my lips horrible man.! Very poor establishment, I received numerous text messages reminding me of my appointment only to arrive 20 minutes early and my appointment was at 1:45. No one acknowledged my presence and finally at 2 PM a clueless receptionist asked me my name. I just left I don't even want to know how bad the Dentist is it they cannot hire proper staff ...Al they were doing was yapping about being pregnant and fake eyelashes. read more

I would recommend that nobody visit this dentist office. This dentist is known for pulling teeth and not getting the whole tooth out she's known for giving people infections and having to go to another place to have it taken care of she will also dismiss you from her practice if she has made a mistake and does not want to own up to it if you want to save your teeth and have healthy teeth do not go to her all she wants to do is pull teeth not fix TeethShe has no bedside manner and is extremely rude she does not care if you're in pain she will not help you with the pain she is heartless and has a disgusting attitude please take this review seriouslyAnd do not visit this practice I wouldn't have even given her one star but in order to put this rating I had to add a star read more

Definitely Recommend!! Very clean, considerate, friendly, and caring enviorment. The dentist always explained what she was going to do, and then contiuously asked if I was alright throughout the entire procedure. All of the dental assistants and receptionists I had the pleasure of meeting or speaking with were courteous, pleasant, and professional.I have extreme anxiety and had bad experiences with dentists -to the point where I almost gave up on ever going to one again ! I am pleased that I gave South Main Dental an opportunity and they ARE my DENTIST . I now have a permanent dentist for the first time in 45 years !!! read more

I love South Main Dental. They're really understanding if your running late, there so flexible. I'm never in the Waiting room long. Everybody is super friendly there. I've always been very picky with my dentists and I'm glad I decided to give South Main Dental a try. When I arrived at South Main Dental, the staff and receptionist were extremely nice. They deserve to be paid well for their professional customer service. The office is very modern and provides a very calming environment. They verified my insurance and took my x-rays. Dr. Narang explained my X-rays and told me what she is able to see in the X-rays as she pointed to them on the computer screen. I felt very comfortable like I was talking to a friend rather than a dentist. The way she explained everything was extremely helpful because I know exactly what is going on in my mouth rather then just been told "OH YOU HAVE 5 CAVITIES" as my previous dentist told me. She was very professional and actually listened to my concerns and answered all of my question thoroughly. I highly recommend Dr. Narang because she did an excellent job on my cleaning and fillings. She was extremely gentle and I did not even feel the pinch from the shot.. It really can't get better than this! read more

Great Dentist and staff! Called with an infected broken tooth and within 90 minutes she did my extraction! Dr. Narang is very kind and gentle as can be during a tooth extraction. I felt comfortable with her immediately. I also learned they use white fillings which is a plus! My entire family will now be switching to South Main dental. read more

not a good experiece, Dr just asked me for money without even treating or looking at my problem, then Dr NaRang cut my gum and in pain, i was charged over $750 for root canal, and pain wont leave me , went to regular doctor found i have infection now. went to different dentist found in litchfield i was told, un needed dentistry was done. read more
