A heartbreak later the story is my vet scanned and immediately found a microchip and within minutes of me reporting a found pet on pet link the owners contacted me. They had been devastated and now I lose my sweet rescue. I am happy I double checked for a micro chip, but that is more than negligence, it is quackery and stealing.

Explained everything to us clearly, with assurances, and made a follow up appt. We made a follow up appt. that we had to cancel, and they were very accommodating to make another. Unfortunately, Jambi didn't make it to the follow up, and I called to cancel. The person on the call was extremely kind and empathetic. Then, unexpectedly, the vet called to express condolences. These were specific (NOT generic) comments, and I really, really appreciated it.

A vet tech came running out, took Hank in her arms, and rushed him inside. When we left hours later, we truly didn't think we would be bringing him home again. It was a long, sleepless night, waiting for that dreaded phone call--one that, thankfully, never came. The next morning, a nurse told us Hank was off oxygen, and the doctor would be calling with his bloodwork--the same bloodwork that had been so abnormal it couldn't even be properly measured because he was so sick. Then the doctor called with the news we had been hoping and praying for: Hank was doing incredibly well. She wanted to keep him through the afternoon for monitoring, but he would be coming home. We cannot thank this staff enough for saving our Hank. Not only did they save his life, but they also gave our little boy so much love and care while he was their patient.
