Lot of heart and history in this tiny joint!! The service is great, and the ice cream even better…read more I need to sit down for a burger of BLT soon. I had a sundae, it was delicious. I love the ice cream here. Classic spot with a booth dedicated to the iconic Sopranos. A staple for any tourist who has seen the show, come get some ice cream here and you won't be disappointed!! I loved my ice cream from here. Always have since my sister first took me here! Ice cream is delicious, rich creamy and flavorful. Special flavors rotate. Always a classic nostalgic feel. The whipped cream comes from what looks like a soda gun!! Get the whipped cream!!

If you're a fan of The Sopranos, visiting Holsten's Ice Cream, Chocolate & Restaurant is a must! This iconic New Jersey landmark is where HBO filmed the unforgettable final scene of The Sopranos, making it a bucket-list destination for fans of the series. The famous booth and nostalgic atmosphere instantly transport you back to that legendary ending that still has people debating what happened to Tony Soprano. While we think we know he was whacked was Meadow the only survivor? Beyond the television history, Holsten's is a wonderful no frills old-fashioned diner with delicious food, homemade ice cream, homemade chocolate and friendly service. I ordered the cheeseburger with the onion rings. My Cheeseburger was juicy, flavorful, well seasoned and perfectly cooked medium well. The onion rings were made of thick cut sweet onions also perfectly cooked in a well seasoned light batter. A must try! The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and full of charm. Whether you're stopping by for a meal, dessert, or simply to experience a piece of television history, it's well worth the visit. Don't forget to order the onion rings and the Orange Fizz they're famous for a reason! A perfect stop for both food lovers and The Sopranos fans alike. 5/5 Location 5/5 customer service 5/5 Prices 5/5 Food Taste and Quality 5/5 Bucket list item ( actually I grew up in the area and I ate there often) .

We went for some soft serve ice cream. It was a little pricey but I guess thats how much iced cream…read moreis now. The person who helped me was friendly enough and the line moved pretty fast. I was very disappointed to see styrofoam containers and plastic utensils. Both of those containers will slowly decompose over the next 500 years or so and pollute our ground water, soil or air. Obviously paper cups and bamboo utensils would be much better since they're both biodegradable.

With a strong Italian heritage, the Garden State makes a great destination for this joyous dessert…read more Gelato is the Italian word for "frozen" ice cream originally created in the 16th century. It came to the United States in 1770, is made with milk, typically does not include eggs, and has a dense texture from a slower churning speed than ice cream. Located on Market Street in Elmwood Park, my partner and I came to this family-operated establishment celebrating 25 years. Upon entering the cozy Four Seasons as first-timers, we were in the mood for some homemade gelato. There were a few classics one will find, such as chocolate, hazelnut, coffee, and stracciatella (vanilla with crunchy chocolate pieces), as well as pistachio, all written in Italian. They also feature hard ice cream, cakes, pastries, and coffee. We decided on a small chocolate and medium banana and sat outside at one of the two available tables. The texture was silkier and softer with a bold, intense flavor and authenticity. The price was comparable to the area. The young staff could have been a bit more sociable. We can recommend this place.
