Service advisor was Ridicules. He advised several things that were bad or defective on my suv one of them was wheel bearing hubs (still under warranty by Honda) however, they were not able to replace under warranty because other Honda dealer have changed power steering rack on vehicle.( both of this thing are completely different). If it is defective they why is there an issue. When I request to speak with a manger/Or Honda warranty department to see why it will be not covered under warranty he denied and said manager is the one not wanting shop to work on it for warranty purpose however they can change all the things with cost of over 3.5k. I call to Honda customer care to verify warranty policy they said any warranty work can be done at any Honda dealership with no issue regardless of where it was taken last. I have used South Pointe previously. I called a couple of days ago and made an appt. for a simple oil change for a Honda CRV. I told the service person who took the appt. that I would just wait on it and that I wanted to get in and out quickly. She set me up for 9:30 this morning (Thursday, 9/28) and she confirmed - when I asked her - that I would not have to wait since I made an appt. When I arrived this morning at 9:20 am, I was told that I would have to wait two hours since there were 7 or 8 ahead of me!!! I asked how that could be since I had made an appt. I never got a real good answer. I did not want to wait - especially after I had made an appt and was told that I would not to wait. So I left and probably not be back. My question: what is the purpose of making an appt when you have to wait anyway for others?? read more

We come here for oil changes and some service appointments. It sometimes takes a little longer than expected but mostly it's fine. It's a nice facility and people are courteous. With the oil change they do a multi point inspection. The inspection shows components that need service, such as a power steering flush. We have had some of the recommended service done at another reputable shop because the price was more reasonable. However Southpoint Honda continues to list those items as being in the red status and still needing to be done. So it's obvious they don't actually check the car components again to see if they need service, they just stick with they have in their records as far as what service needs to be done. This practice makes me want to take my business elsewhere. read more

Extremely DISAPPOINTED and ANGRY with our experience!! Left work early, got an official check made to this dealership and drove almost 2 hours with my husband and infant to South Pointe after my husband had called internet sales and set an appointment to purchase a particular vehicle (had also received an email in regards to appointment by Sephoria Fletcher). When we got there, we had to hunt down a salesman in an office to help us. He (Russ Nantz) was in the middle of helping another couple and did not offer to find someone else to help us but rather told us it would be a few minutes. We told him we had an appointment to purchase a vehicle. A while later, he came to us and said he could not find the keys to the vehicle. We then noticed another salesman out by the vehicle (which was parked up front), showing it to another couple. We informed Russ of this and he said they must be going for a test drive and should be back soon. While we waited, the internet sales manager, Steve Davis, even came up to us and stated that he had called the salesman giving the test drive and they would be back soon. Once they came back, we then noticed the other couple giving Steve a thumbs up. Russ then approaches us and states that the other couple is going to buy the car. What?!? What about our appointment? Our request to purchase? When we first asked for assistance, we mentioned at that very point we were here for an appointment to purchase a new car. Our intentions were clear. So quickly it was overshadowed and we were given an 'oops'! Steve offered to give us a 'good deal' on a similar vehicle. Really? Why don't you offer that to the other couple? Or explain the situation to the other couple. Completely felt that customer service was low on the totem pole and selling cars in whatever way was goal. We left upset. My husband did call and speak with Steve while we were on our long drive back (with a crying baby in the thunderstorms). He stated he would look into what he could do (as far as getting the exact car we wanted at a better price as an apology) and would call us the following day. He NEVER called back! This is not the car dealer to spend your time at if you're looking to get a reasonable or fair price or have a quick experience. We spent two hours being seat and intermittently spoken too before we could speak about the inflated price tag. Most of the time was spent with the salesman, who was professional and courteous, investigating if the cars he was showing us on his computer screen were even still on the market. If you call Honda they will tell you that any price is negotiable, but that is a false selling point as well which again lead us to waste even more time discussing a car that was finally noted to be available but far outside a fair budget price. The best advice I can give would actually be the salesman's own words, " a Honda is going to sell to someone," but just buy yours from one of the many other dealers I'm town if you're interested in fair pricing and reasonable service. read more

I come here because it is the furthest south Honda, but I am rethinking this decision. The only bright spot is their cashier. I bought a used Honda Element from SPH in January. Will, the salesman was kind. Four days later the car wouldn't start. I texted Will the first and second time. I called the dealership and John answered as Will was on leave. He said to bring the car to Tulsa and they would fix it and give me a loaner car. I did a lot of research on the problem in the meantime. Soon they called and said it was ready. They ran electrical tests and checks. I was very confused, because I spent a lot of time, money, and time off work for them to say they didn't actually fix anything. John said he would talk to the mechanic. The next day Will returned and asked why I hadn't picked it up. I explained I was waiting on John. Then Ryan called me. He is a manager, and maybe one of the worst people I have ever met. He began patronizing me, saying "in his heart of hearts" he knew it was fixed. Not interested in his feelings I asked what the mechanic thought, and shared the online information filled with possible fixes. He became defensive while I tried to reason with his intellect, but I couldn't get past his pride. He then asked why I had kept his loaner car so long, and started to insinuate I was keeping it. He soon let on he had an interested buyer, which is why he needed it back. Then he said maybe I was one of those women "who go on Web MD and think they have something terrible when its something minor." After being insulted, patronized, bullied and showered with sexism the likes of which I have never seen from educated men, he told me to bring back the rental THAT EVENING, giving me only a few hours to get off work and rush to Tulsa. When I arrived, no one would look me in the eye. Will was kind as usual. A few days later, the car wouldn't start. The air bags turn themselves on and off while driving. The stereo switches from the left to the right of the vehicle going over bumps. Will said he would check with Ryan, and none of them have called me back. I called Chris Cox, the general manager last week and this week kindly asking for a return call, nothing more. Both calls have been ignored. They have a lovely façade, but they are worse than the overt snake-in-the-grass dealers, because at least they have the decency to look you in the eye while they screw you over. I told Ryan I would write him an honest review if his "heart of hearts" was wrong. So here it is. If you enjoy vehicles that start, or men who value and respect women, if you're a man who respects women, I wouldn't shop here. read more

Horrible service, I had to make an appointment for service on our Civic and CRV purchased here for oil and tires, and to get the defective mic replaced in the CRV ( second time I've tried to get them to fix it here!!!!) I'm now supported to sit here for several hours after we were told that work wasn't done and would not be done today. The person at service desk was defensive and made excuses for growing pains and being too busy. Not once an apology or professional acceptance of responsibility. We will never be coming back to this dealership, ever! I had wanted to test drive an Odyssey today too after thinking about trading in one car, NOT NOW! Bad business practices abound. Their service people never followed up with our request for a hitch ( they said they could install that today too, but never even called back about pricing or possibility ). I arrived for my 9:00AM oil change appointment. As I walked in towards the glass doors to the service reception I hear a man approximately 5 feet tall with a grey beard, "yelling ma'am!!! Ma'am!!!" I am now face to face with him as he loudly says "you have to move your car, you have to pull your car in" "what are you here for?" . I answered that I have a 9:00AM appointment and I would have loved to move my car. Only I'm not in my car anymore and the keys are in the ignition. I was really shook up by the odd greeting or lack there of. "Good morning", "Hi, How are you?" "Do you have an appointment or are you coming in for an Express Service?" Would have been fit for a professional Honda dealership. I have rated my visit today 3 stars and not 1 star because I was out the door by 9:45AM and Susan the Service Advisor that was also my cashier was very kind. Susan walked me all the way to my car. Five stars for Susan! As for the man that met me yelling. I saw him as I existed at a desk on the far left opposite to where Susan serves, using a computer, perhaps he is a Service Advisor too. Please find out who he is and retrain him. Please continue to train Soft-skills. I as well as the general public would like to have a good experience and not a frightful one when coming to get our vehicle serviced by professionals. Thank you! read more

I'll stick to the facts. Purchased 4th car from dealership had a problem just outside of warranty for a part that should last 10+ years. I'm not as disappointed that the part failed as much as the dealerships lack of willingness to help. Honda covered half of the repair cost after I contacted them the dealership chipped in nothing zero!! I'm not looking for handouts but after four new cars I would expected a simple problem (less than $1,000) to be handled a little differently. So we bought a used suv in January. January 2nd in fact. One week after our daughter was born. It has been the WORST experience of our lives. We bought it on the coldest day of the year, so in two weeks after when the weather heated to over 70 degrees I tried the air conditioning. Didn't work. We brought it back and they were willing to repair it for $500 in which they would discount to over $300. It worked for one day. Brought it back to South Point again, and as it turns out it was a $1000 dollar issue. Again they offered a "discount" and we paid over $800. Brought it home and it stopped working within 3 days! After a lot of back and forth, they agreed to fix it without charge... the last thing the manager said to us "anything else that goes wrong is on you, though." Those words proved to play an important role, since less than a week went by and the vehicle started making a strange noise and smelled like something was burning. We noticed a very small amount of oil leaking in our driveway after bringing it home. It was literally less than half a cup. No more. Just the one day. We took it somewhere else to have it checked out. They called us and told me us that there was a strange issue. The oil was almost completely out, with no leak. They decided to keep it another couple day to check out thoroughly that they couldn't find a leak. Absolutely no leak! The only conclusion suggested was that the oil had been siphoned. This has been the worst experience ever. We've had this vehicle 5 months and haven't really been able to use it. We did have the oil changed after purchasing it and there were no issues then. Problems only surfaced when South Point worked on it. Draw your own conclusions. We were set up for sabotage. The notion is so ridiculous, that I can't believe I'm living it. read more

WORST experience ever buying a car. Bought a used car after being told our transmission was going out of our SUV. Day after buying it, check engine light. Not only that, they put our trade in on their lot, and we found out they lied to us about the transmission. Got the "new to me" vehicle back, next day, back in the shop AGAIN. It's now back for the 4th time in a month. Then they try to get us in to something different. Want more down, increase the payment almost $100, for a vehicle with worse gas mileage. No go on that one. So then they start trying for a different one, vehicle in our possession, only to be told they sold it hours after they started working on it for us. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. read more

My advice is to not leave the lot with the promise of an install or upgrade. It took me more than a month to finally receive the radio install that I was promised. The dealership at the point of sale promised to pay to have the stock radio placed back into the console. We had a very disappointing experience trying to buy a suv from this dealership. I saw a Honda Pilot EXL with Honda Sensing advertised on 2 different internet sites for $33,310. My husband called and talked to a salesperson who said it was still available and that this was the price they would need. He was told it had all the options listed. Since we were going to be driving over 150 miles for the car I had my husband confirm that this was the price and included all the options listed. A second salesperson said it was and that he would talk to a manager to see if any other discounts could be given. A manager called us right back and said the vehicle was being sold right then and that the pricing was wrong on the vehicle. He said it was priced around $39,000. The next day I checked to see if it was still listed on their inventory. Since it was, I had my daughter call to check on it. She was told the vehicle was still available and that the price was $33,310. I had her call back to verify if it had the options listed (leather heated seats, Honda Sensing, and towing hitch were what we wanted to make sure it had). This time she was told the add was wrong. It was not an EXL WITH HONDA Sensing but an EX. It also did not have leather heated seats. I don't understand how we could talk to this many salespeople and them not know the vehicle advertised was not the right one. read more

the car buy ok. but the boiler roon (finance room it all went south) was lied to about cheapest rate, over chg. life of loan $2000.00 was sold a useless car car care called cal tec, was told by dealer they could not cancel, called cal tec was told it was up to dealer to cancel, and they still would not. was sold a honda care package was told it was cheapest, got home cked internet bought from another honda dealer, canceled the origional saving aprox $350.00 after spending all day there (aprox 200 mi) seen door jams were filthy tail handle filthy white streak inside drivers door think from spray they used on it, windows had film on them again from spray they sold me. contacted next am was told if i wanted to spend another day to bring back.and they would give me some gas for my time. i cleaned up myself. a week later after i filled out a neg. review they answered by saying they Paul Warren who ever he is offered to send a man over to clean up auto. again not true, I believe they are a pack of thieves & liers read more
