Shortly after our first game, it got insanely busy. Tyler was literally running around- from addressing guests concerns, to running the front desk/getting people set up on lanes to running out food. We did end up having problems with our Lane but Tyler and the mechanic did what they could to get the problem fixed. When it still wasn't working, Ashley helped to get our situation fixed, apologized and gave us passes to try again another day. Even through the mechanical issues and food wait weren't fun and kind of frustrating, Tyler and Ashley left us with a great experience! We will definitely be back!

We visited the South Milwaukee Arcade for the first time on a Saturday evening. The bar was not…read moreoverly crowded (it looked like mostly regulars), and there were plenty of bowling lanes open, which is why our group chose to visit. It is often hard to find bowling open on a Saturday evening, so we were pleasantly surprised. The drinks are inexpensive, however do know this is a CASH ONLY bar for everything - bowling shoes, games, drinks, and food. There is an ATM, but who wants to pay a $2.50 fee if they have to? Come prepared and bring cash with you. We had some pizza while we were there; the menu is all bar food, but the pizza was good and the prices for food were inexpensive as well. We had an enjoyable evening bowling and played two games with 8 people. By 10PM, we were the only people bowling on the 8-ish or so lanes available. The ball selection isn't as good as larger places, but with a bit of looking one should be able to find something that works for them. I would recommend the South Milwaukee Arcade for bowling, especially if you're looking for more of a relaxed and casual night in a place that isn't overcrowded.

I…read morevisited one afternoon on a weekday, and it was the quietest, cleanest bowling alley I've ever been in. There were 2 people bowling and a couple more sitting at the bar. We were at group of 4 and they let us use two lanes so we could get more games in during the hour rental period. There is an area with some arcade games, as well as several dart boards and a pool table. The business has a small town feel and does not seem like anything has changed since the 70s or 80s. They have a full bar and also have a food menu. If you are in the area and looking for a quick game of bowling, especially at an odd time, check out Lucky Lanes!

He ran away as a child and found himself on a farm in Chippewa Falls all the way from Milwaukee. There at the age of 11 he worked on his uncle's dairy farm where he had seen his first "full" plate of food. He was awarded All Conference Defensive Player of the Year in high school with 5 defensive touchdowns. Later, volunteering for Vietnam for three terms, he earned a bronze star for bravery with two stars for bringing back dead soldiers from behind enemy lines. Also recieving a purple heart among other recognitions. Not only fathered 3 of his own children, adopted two, and fostering 3 more as well. This selflessness did not end there where he and his wife Carol helped out countless neighborhood youth. Teaching them the values of self worth and how to persevere through there personal struggles. The legend of Koz is timeless and I encourage anyone and everyone from all walks of life to give it a try and see if they still know how to have a good time.

All I came here for was mini bowling, and I got that in spades. It was a Sunday night, so two lanes were open with no reservation needed. I opened a tab at the bar, headed back to the awaiting lanes, and proceeded two bowl a couple games in quick succession. Unless you have a large crew, there won't be much sit and wait time, like on a regular lane. Note that it is manual scoring. They do provide a cheat sheet to help with this, and it may help as well to number your frames, just in case you get lost in all the up and down. Since it is residential, you might have to circle the block a few times to find parking, but don't let that deter you. A walk back to the car might be the perfect excuse to stop by the food truck across the street.
