Walked in to the ~empty~ clubhouse, not a soul in sight but the girl behind the counter, who I'd known on a first name basis for years. She demanded a mask or I'd have to leave. Then I asked her to just please update my prepaid card to the new system maybe through the window (outside) and she said she couldn't do anything without a mask. NSC's ridiculous rules gave her no common sense options whatsoever. NSC took it well beyond the (proven ineffective) CDC mask "recommendations." They dictated you wear a mask inside the giant clubhouse no matter what. Well, I never owned a mask. I walked out while she explained and apologized to me by name, and I've never returned. This really was about the last place on earth I expected to turn communist. Oh well...

Summoning my courage, I told them what I was looking for and why (brand / model and for personal protection). They were very helpful and even though they didn't have that one in stock, they helped me find a gun that was perfect for me. They recommended one specifically but suggested I rent a couple different ones to get the right feel and that sealed the deal. Never once did they make me feel like I was just a 'dumb girl'. They were respectful, informative and made a lifelong member that day. I bought a family membership and have never regretted the decision. I have read some negative comments about McQueeney re: high prices and rude treatment, but I'm here to tell you that I've never met a nicer group of people who make it their business to make everyone feel welcome. Do they have rules and regulations?? YES.... it's a gun range. Come on people... And if you are worried about $5 here or there for a gun or box of ammo, well maybe you should find another sport. They have a beautiful facility, knowledgeable staff and wide range of products and services. If you want a local top-notch facility, look no further.

I texted him my cell and he sent back at least a dozen pics of the rifle from every angle, took the brake off to show the conditions of the threads on the barrel and even sent me a video taken with a borescope to show the rifling condition !! I have bought many guns without handling them first but never had this level of care and attention. I've never gotten a borescope view even in the store. Daniels' communication was reassuring. He texted a pic of the UPS shipping label and sent me a text advising when the rifle was picked up by UPS. The rifle came to my dealer and it was exactly as described and pictured. I was extremely pleased throughout the entire process with 3G Firearms, from first phone call the first shot of my rifle.
