We were told the office staff called the designated office twice in one day but FAILED to follow up in subsequent days. Additionally, we were never notified that they failed to obtain the proper medical clearance for treatment. We found out AFTER we called the day before the procedure to ask a question. The failure of the office staff to perform their duties resulted in cancellation of my husband's procedure. My husband is experiencing dental pain and the failure of the office staff to fulfill their duties and obligations have resulted in extended pain and discomfort for my husband. We have since obtained an appointment with an alternative dental facility; however the lack of medical professionalism from Riverwalk Dental has resulted in unnecessary delay in my husbands treatment.

I rate one star only because I can't give 0 stars! I…read morestarted seeing this allergist/ansthma office in Oct of 2025. I told them I needed an EpiPen first thing and we needed to get that started with the ins co because we can't do injections without it. They wanted to do blood work to test for allergies which was great! Did the test and 3 weeks later went back and they still had no results and they couldn't find them anywhere. So they insisted I do skin testing. Not only did I have to pay for an expensive blood test I had to pay for an expensive skin test and how convenient once I did the skin test they found the blood results. Dr Adame wanted to increase my inhaler to help me with my asthma but for some reason someone dropped the ball on that and nothing was ever sent in to my pharmacy. When I called to follow up on that no one in the office knew what I was talking about and instead of just speaking to the dr I was told I'd need to come in and see the Dr again. I called my primary and he took care of the problem for me. I called AllergySA numerous times to stay on top of the EpiPen situation And still they never followed up with my ins co on the info that was needed to be sent in to for a prior authorization. I made 6 inquiries to them as reminders and still no progress was made on their part. Late December my vials of serum were finally in and still no EpiPen. I did the paperwork for a transfer to a new doctor. Within 2 weeks I had my EpiPens and got my first injections. The day I pick up my vials from AllergySA I walked in and told them what I was there for and they asked if I had my EpiPen. I laughed and said you're joking right? They wanted to give me injections from the vials before releasing them to me. They do not have their act together and they had me going back time and time again for follow ups just to sit there and tell me that there was no new updates on when my vials would be ready but yet I had to pay for the visit and they couldn't even do the paperwork to get me an EpiPen. I now see Dr Vaughn over at Alamo Allergy and Asthma and they are very on top of things in their office and I highly recommend them to anyone that needs a good allergist or asthma specialist!

We couldn't be happier with his expert service or his warm personal, professional manner. He even designed a invisible guard to keep me from holding my mouth weird during the day. His receptionists and dental staff are top notch. To base a review on going to a dental school for work and then asking a doctor to patch something up for you defies belief and should be removed from Yelp! Who does that?

I went to the appointment but they didn't have my records, even though his staff told me they had them when the appointment was made. His office called to reschedule and I returned the phone call. I was told they would call back. After waiting 3 days I called them. I was told they would call back to schedule. Again no phone call for 2 days. I called again and asked to speak Dr. Sanchez. He never called. I called again and the receptionist told me he said my implant wasn't viable. I asked again to Speak to Dr. Sanchez. Again, no call. At this point I have no idea why Dr. Sanchez won't speak to me. I went back to the dental school to have them check the implant and they said it was fine. The dental school called Dr. Sanchez and he wouldn't take their call. Again, I call Dr. Sanchez office ( at this point they say it's because 2 employees quit) and I explained that I would like to speak to Dr. Sanchez. I NEVER received a call back.
