She then looked at the crown and said you have worn a hole in it so I am unable re-glue it on and thus you will need a new crown at $1,607 !!! I'm wondering if you can tell that by just looking at the old crown, why the photos and Xray with a $145 charge for the office visit that didn't help me at all ? I also had another tooth with an old deteriorating filling. More Xrays and photos, then I was told "you need to see a specialist about this", but no suggestion about who that may be and what may be needed to be done. Once again I haven't received any help at all.

But Dr. Hulme and his staff did an OUTSTANDING job with constant communication during the lockdown as well as top notch safety precautions once they were allowed to open back up. Not only did I feel safe going back in but them rescheduling everyone went seamlessly so that I was still able to stay on track with my treatment plan and estimated time to finish. Being new-ish to San Antonio, it's been years (Yike!) since my last check up and cleaning and having settled in to our new home, it was time to select a practice near our home. There are so many options on Potranco and more dental offices pop up every 6 months or so as the community continues to grow. Schuchart popped up right at the entrance of my community, Arcadia Ridge. I can literally walk there in 10 mins. I'd seen this dental office on social media and love the aesthetic of the outside. The photos of the inside I've seen was just as impressive. The husband-wife team of dentists are young and family oriented. I knew I'd found my place! GETTING IN: scheduling an appointment was so easy. The gal I spoke to was very professional and friendly and we easily coordinated a date and time for my initial visit. I show up on the day of my visit very excited. Giddy, even. Let's get these teeth in tip-top shape! Check in was simple and I glance around the large waiting area. Portraits of the dentists and their child are framed and mounted on the wall, along with licenses and certificates. I love the ambiance, still smells brand new, lighting is comfortable and every surface is clean. There's what I can only guess is a child's play room, but I'm not 100% sure. THE TEAM: I have to say, the treatment team in back are awesome. Down to earth and really fun, actually. We shared quite a few laughs in conversation. The equipment is state of the art, so easy for my X-ray results and explanation of my dental health to be broken down simply for me on a screen. I visited in November and was charged upfront because they were unsure if my insurance would cover the services. I happily paid. My insurance did indeed cover the service except the oral exam and the insurance and dentist agreed to a contracted amount. The dentist refuses to honor the contracted amount and only offered a partial refund. Their reasoning is insurance didn't cover it anyways so we are going to charge you the full amount and not the contracted amount we agreed upon with your insurance. Stephanie was combative and said she would call me back for a refund in two weeks. I had to call back multiple times letting them know that insurance has paid them and they owe me a refund yet they only provided a partial. My dental insurance company called them as well to advise they should not be charging the full amount and should be charging the contract amount but they disagreed and refused to refund me. They continued arguing with the insurance as well. At this point my insurance is filing a complaint. This is unfortunate because I really liked the dentist but the fact that I called, my insurance company called, and they do not know how to bill properly is fraudulent. There are so many other great dentist in this area go to don't bother with this place. Look at their google reviews there are others that have complained about the same thing. Look at your explanation of benefits because this dentist is pocketing the money.

He said yes, if I took it off myself. I did, they said they could put it on when i returned. When I returned the manager said if I wanted then to put it on it would be a 45 minute wait. They said there were four cars ahead of me. I asked how that was if I had dropped it off earlier. I ended up putting the tire on myself. While doing so my car fell off the jack and almost fell on me and damaged my front bumper. Waste off $15 and now have to get my car repaired, because of your lazy unhelpful shop.
