I was so blown away by the lack of customer service that the old lady has that I had to write a…read morereview. It's impressive in its own right that even after $35 Uber ride to her destination I walked away not wanting to ever see her hear her speak to her or purchase a ticket from her ever again in this lifetime.

Our first experience with this years ago was not great, as the boat was full of highly intoxicated passengers, but this time around things were more subdued. However, I had an absolutely bizarre experience with the bartender "Justin" on this trip. On the return trip, I approached his bar area to buy a beer. He was actively engaged in a conversation with a man at the bar. I waited several minutes. He never made eye contact with me or acknowledge me in anyway. So, I simply went to the other bar, ordered my beer, and as I turned to walk away, "Justin" was standing right in front of me and confronted me about leaving his bar. He reprimanded me for not being patient while he was giving "good customer service" to the man he was chatting with. I was in disbelief that he would approach me in such a manner, and I turned to bartender who served me and and said "Are you actually seeing this and hearing this right now?" As "Justin" walked away after his rant, the other bartender said, "I thought you knew him and he was just joking with you at first." I said, "No, I don't know him and he wasn't joking." The bartender then concluded, "Well I guess he's just in a bitchy mood tonight." It was just really strange, and an act of aggression as far as I'm concerned for him to approach me like that. When I returned to my seat with my husband, we then obsesrved another young crew member with long beard standing on the corner of "Justin's" bar staring daggers at us as if we were somehow being problematic. I hope someone at Key West reads the reviews and checks the cameras to verify this incident. You will clearly see that I was completely ignored at his bar, and then he came over to me and got right up in my personal space to confront me. Who does that?

They could use more signage at the St.Pete departure area. No one is in the booth and there are no signs at all to indicate where we should board. There is no phone number and nowhere to text. They don't even have their schedule on their website. Some signeage and a website designer and an ability to reach someone with questions would be a big help. I can see from the boat that this is Bay State Cruises and they normally run boats from Boston to P-town. I know they have lots of experience and I hope they will apply that to this branch of the business.

This was a sunset cruise on a night where there were thunderstorms 2 hours before our departure and…read morewe didn't think we would even go out. There were only 27 passengers, so we had lots of room to move about. Right out of the dock, we had dolphins swimming behind us, which was awesome. The sun finally came out of the clouds and we got some nice views. Lastly, we went under the Skyway Bridge which was lit up and beautiful. The staff were super helpful the whole trip. They offer beer, wine, soft drinks and water for purchase as well as a few snacks. There is seating on different levels, front and back. The Captain did a great job piloting the ship so we all felt comfortable.

What a great way to avoid trying to find parking at the new Coachman Park! I'd much rather pay a…read morefew bucks for a fun ride from Dunedin and spend a little time on the water. They drop and pick up right outside Coachman Park on the dock. Super convenient, the guys driving and confirming tickets were very nice. You can go standby as long as there are open seats. You can buy in advance online - suggested... but it is not quite up to date... the website is also a bit finicky. Not sure how reliable all the info/details are yet... They are just getting started but I'm not sure if that means it's brand new for that location or just for the 2023 season. We ended up just paying cash and the pricing was different online than what we were charged in person. Last ferry from Coachman Park back to Dunedin during the week is at 9:30 pm...if you're there for a show you might miss the boat! I'm not sure about weekends but I'll be using it again on a Saturday soon so I'll update my review if there's more to report. But definitely choose this and the Jolley Trolley over other options when possible. It's cheaper and more fun!

Suggested you purchase tickets in advance and bring cash for a tip. We were picked up right next to Coachman Park Marina, rode over to the Clearwater Beach marina, and back, just went for a fun short trip. The price is right for families, kids, everyone! Much better than trying to find parking on Clearwater Beach, save your money and the hassle, and ride the Ferry! Captain Ralph and First Mate Alex were professional, friendly and full of amazing local tidbits throughout our ride, describing locations as we putted along the intracoastal. The boat was comfortable, the ride was serene, the scenery unmatched, and Capt. Ralph and F.M. Alex could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend for families, kids will love this!
