    Fastener aisle

Unassuming small hardware storefront that is PACKED with stuff and has an unexpected whole downstairs level. I came to find a few screws that I was unsure about the size of, and the staff was super helpful. They had quite the variety of options, and were organized. The aisles are a bit tight, and the shelving can be rustic, but that added to the charm. I felt like I was walking around in Olivander's wand shop from Harry Potter haha. If I didn't have my work project that to return to, I would have enjoyed roaming the aisles and browsing more. They have parking in the back down a kinda steep driveway, but I easily found parking on the street. Definitely will be my go to hardware store in the area!

This hardware store in downtown El Segundo had EVERYTHING we needed- so much stock in a small store and owner was very nice and super helpful!

Normally don't leave bad reviews but a single bag of concrete for almost $12 for a small 50 pound bag that's highway robbery if you do any work or if your actual license contractor avoid this place like the plague the counter help when I asked way is the so high he goes oh well that's what it is deal with it or go somewhere else so great attitude I'm sure of their award winning service. Hell my plumbing supply house is costly at 7.00 but that is expected. Not a local hardware store.

Family run! They have everything one needs around the house. I go here before the big box places.

So overpriced. You shouldn't have to overpay for the convenience of having this in your backyard.

Great people. Been going there for years. Always friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are comparable to other hardware stores.

We had an unusual home project in mind so we went to Ace to see IF they had what we needed before we went to a big box store.

For at least two months, our kilowatts per day weren't feeding back into the system. Bummer, right? I shopped around, and when I found out about Nick, I knew I'd be in good hands. Nick came, talked to us, checked out the system and advised us that it looks like we are connected. It's the Tesla mobile app that likely needs updating and we're in the clear. He gave us a ton of information, didn't try to sell us anything, and did this all for free. I know whom I'm going to call next time I have a solar glitch, or want to upgrade my system. You can't buy generosity, or good heartful service. It has to be given. Nick Bar is my solar guy. He should be yours.

She is a knife snob and the most condescending salesperson I've met. When asked questions directly, she responds with enthusiast jargon to make herself feel superior. The collection is okay, they have some really good stuff and some alright products. I'd rather walk a few paces and spend my money at Williams Sonoma. I am confident that this business loses a lot of money because of her poor attitude.

I happened to have my $300 mid-tech folder on me and it was a bit dull so I asked if they sharpened knives. I was told that they had a guy who was in the "military" and was really good so I left my knife with them. I wish I had looked at the reviews here before doing that because my knife came back less sharp than when I left it with them. Problems with the sharpening: 1) I can feel the burrs on the blade edge - Either he didn't use a fine stone to complete the sharpening or he forgot to finish the knife. 2) I don't think he sharpened the entire knife, part of the edge that's near the handle of the knife has no burrs and does not feel any sharper than it was when I left it. 3) Blade edge at the tip of the knife is now uneven. I could of done a better job myself with the The Wicked Edge sharpening system. If you have a $100 set of cooking knives you got from Macys's and its been several years since you've had them sharpened this guy may be able to do a decent job but he clearly isn't capable of sharpening anything more challenging than a cheap piece of metal.
