I went into Ferguson's trying to figure out the size and brand of the sump pup I need and the other necessary accessories. I know virtually nothing about getting water out of my patio but with a lot of research (thank you Google), I had some ideas. My lucky moment came when I went to Ferguson's and talked to a guy at one of the registers. HIs name was Cuco and he had so much knowledge and patience with me (as again, I know nothing about sump pumps and catch basins). He must have spent 20 minutes with me, explaining the do's and don'ts and providing me with so much helpful information and taking me around the store to show me what products I should consider. I found out later that he was the General Manager but he never mentioned that and he said his goal was to help me get the products I want and need. I later had my Handyman call him and he was so helpful. Later that same day, I called Cuco again and he was so helpful and knowledgeable as he guided me through the process. He never made me feel like I was taking too much of his time or asking too many questions, which I greatly appreciated. Due to Cuco and the manner in which he helped me, going above and beyond, never once getting frustrated with my lack of knowledge and many questions, I will now only shop at Ferguson's and again, this is due solely to the amazing customer service that Cuco provided to me. Erica always greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome and was so professional and helpful! She put our complete package together for our master bath remodel in one afternoon. She knows her stuff! We rebuilt our house and all of the contractors in our high end area by the beach recommend buying fixtures from Fergusons. We've had multiple problems with items purchased through Fergusons, but no more unethical than Newport Brass. Everything is expensive at Fergusons yet they don't step in when the suppliers they choose have horrible quality and worse customer service. Look for another outlet to spend the hard earned money you use for a rebuild or remodel. Building is TOO expensive to have items fail within the first few years. read more

A wonderful place to check out some beautiful hardware you won't find on the shelves of Home Depot or Lowe's. I went in to buy two bathroom faucets and fell in love with a toilet. The lady who helped me has been working there for 18 years and consulted me on the brass kitchen faucet clashing with my cabinets. I bought a brass handle and put it next to my new cabinets and she was right, very right, why didn't I see it. Apparently I don't have "the eye" for design or color so I'm thankful for her input because I've been stumbling through the design process from day one. read more

They bend over backwards to get me in and out in a timely manner. Their shelves are well-stocked, and I rarely have an issue with them not having what I need. Wife and I found a home in Hermosa Beach we needed to remodel. Ferguson was recommended so I checked the place out. Glad I did as I met Sri Haslam - Showroom Consultant. She took the time to listen and understand the vibe we were looking for. She provided recommendations and went out of her way to get the products in ahead of schedule. I am updating my review to address Ferguson's response. I have already been in contact with Ferguson customer support (level 5 sales and marketing) for several months and have gotten no where in resolving the issues with the defective items purchased from Ferguson. We completely wasted over $5,000 on defective ThermaSol steam shower items purchased from Ferguson. We purchased the items based on the strong recommendation of the Ferguson sales rep. We extremely regret our purchase. The quality of the product was horribly inferior to what we expected. The ThermaSol steam shower package that we purchased from Ferguson has had numerous issues since the day it was installed - none of which we have been able to resolve after months of working with both Ferguson and ThermaSol. We spent about $9,000 at Ferguson on our master bath, over $5,000 of which was spent on the ThermaSol steam shower products. Crystal, the sales person we worked with, really pushed the ThermaSol steam shower and convinced us to purchase it. It is absolutely disgusting that Ferguson pushes a defective product and then does not correct the issue. We completely wasted our money. Here are the issues that we have been unable to resolve. Note that our steam shower was only installed three months ago. It never worked properly. 1) chrome finish on the shower head peels off. We are on our third shower head, and the finish on all peels within days. We talked to the manufacturer ThermaSol and they informed us that the issue we are experiencing is extremely rare. They said they will special order us a rain head made of brass instead of aluminum which should be compatible with the chrome finish. How can the issue be rare when we have had three defective items in three months? 2) wireless module does not work. According to ThermaSol it is not compatible with our ATT wifi 3) touch screen control is unreliable. It frequently freezes, and we have to crawl into the top of our closet near the attic to unplug from the power distribution module to force a hard reset. See photos for these issues. read more

Ferguson's is one stop shopping for bathroom fixtures and the like. I was recommended to go here for my bathroom remodel by my contractor. This place has medium to high end fixtures -- if you want to seriously go big on your bathroom remodel, this is the place! I purchased a complete set of Kohler fixtures (shower fixtures and sink fixtures) for my bathroom remodel including a tub, two sinks, and a toilet. The total came out to be about $5K. All of the items were shipped to my house for a reasonable fee. They claim 30% off "catalogue" prices for Kohler, and I confirmed that the price they charged me was 30% lower than what was listed in the catalogue, but essentially, you're paying retail, right? They have design consultants here that are very helpful and actually very professional. I worked with Dusty and Seanay and they were both very helpful in giving me hints, help and ideas. I definitely needed a female perspective on a bathroom remodel! They were very down to earth, knowing that in general, the cooler the item is, the more it will cost! They worked within my price point to get me what i needed. Most of the stuff I ordered was in their warehouse, and the items that weren't were shipped within 3 days. I'm docking one star because they didn't have a number of items in the polished nickel finish I wanted so I had to upgrade to the brushed nickel finish, which essentially costs about 10% more. Apparently the brushed nickel is way more popular and thus more available. I'm pretty happy with what I got, so it's all good. Another great thing about this store was the return policy. My contractor screwed up and bought the wrong sized sink. Fergusons was super cool to allow us to return the sinks same day and purchase different ones (that were in stock) and even credited my AmEx card for the difference in price. No problem! All in all, this store is THE go to place in the South Bay/LB area if you are remodeling your bathroom. Highly recommended you go check them out if you are in the market for any time of bathroom or kitchen remodel. read more

What a horrible horrible horrible business! 8 years ago I spent $13,009 on fixtures for a MB bathroom remodel. I have had two issues with the fixtures and Furgeson refuses to be of any help resolving the issues even when I show them my receipts. I needed a special O-ring for a Ronbow sink stop the parts guy said they have never carried that brand, so I showed him my receipt and he said "oh, well I don't know what to tell you" so I said well can you look the part number up for me so I can order it from Ronbow? He said no because they didn't sell it to me, discusted I left and resolved the issue on my own. Friday the Hans Grohe shower valve failed and leaked to the floor below my bathroom causing fairly major damage. The valve is guaranteed for life by Hans Grohe. Saturday trying to get a head start on ordering or replacing the valve I went to Furgeson again with receipts and the failed valve. This is not your local ACE hardware store or Home Depot. It's mostly focused on the professional plumbing business. Yes, they will sell to home owners as well. I've received help in replacing Koehler parts as well as other hard to find parts. Don't expect to find these items on their shelves. They've got a group of folks that will track down parts, order and contact you when the parts arrive. This is my go to place and I do recommend it. read more

If you need something, they have it in stock, they can actually sell it to you. So for the grocery store of appliances they are fine. If you need ANY help at all, and I do mean ANY HELP, GO ANYWHERE ELSE. The showroom has tons of manufacturers for bathroom/kitchen faucets & shower heads. It's worth going there to get ideas or product numbers & shop it around for best prices at other businesses. Now, I have to call them to get this info, since they didn't help me yesterday. If this were my business, I'd fire everyone of them aside from the receptionist. Ferguson sells nationally & I assume trades on the stock exchange, so I guess they can afford to & deal w their lame employees in this particular showroom. Daniel to the rescue!! Wow, we were in a pinch and needed a Kohler sink like ASAP. Frantically, I called Daniel and he said that I could come in and order it and it will be at their warehouse the next morning. Too good to be true right? I was skeptical. After being burned and burned by Home Depot (I'll NEVER order from HD online), I was hesitant about placing yet another order for a sink (we had 1 already, wrong one from HD) but I ran over to Ferguson's and placed the order with Daniel. I must've called him like 5 times to have him reassure me it was going to be there the next day. Next day. Drive out to Redondo. Check in with Daniel again. Sure enough, it was there!!! MIRACLE!!! Hallelujah. I will NEVER ever order from Home Depot online. Not only was Ferguson's cheaper, it was OVERNIGHT!! You can't freaking beat that!! Such great customer service too! The plumbing supply department is a mixed bag. The upside is that they usually have the right parts in the correctly labelled bins. That being said, don't expect a lot of help finding the parts - take a number and wait - it ain't Home Depot. They cater to professional plumbers or skilled do it yourselfers... don't expect real insight or help. I usually buy supplies here when directed by my plumber(s). The last water heater I bought was defective from the get go - internal gas leak (per my plumber and the Gas Company). The manager said "it must be that the connection was overtightened because the insides are never defective" and "the gas company knows nothing" - without even looking at the unit. He expected me to take apart the connection open up the unit (voiding the warranty) and send photos. I had my plumber pay a visit in person and the the whole attitude changed completely - now they were willing to exchange the unit. If you are just an average guy the management will treat you like crap - if you're a regular, experienced plumber or large plumbing company it's a whole other story... Do yourself a favor - have your plumber do the legwork here and avoid a personal appearance. Better yet, go to Home Depot or Lowes and you'll have a much better experience from start to finish. Thankfully I saw their sign from the 405 freeway. My renters broke the spray wand of my kitchen faucet, so I called them to locate a replacement part opposed to buying a new one. Before arriving at the store, I was told to take pictures of the faucet so we could determine the manufacturer. Since it was a special order and I have only owned my condo for 11 months, JR was able to tell me it was a high-end Moen; looked up the model number and suggested I contact them for warranty information. Although I did not have the receipt, they are sending me a new wand that was supposed to cost $122. Honest and informative people. After waiting patiently an hour I was told that they had no idea how much longer the wait would be, even though there were 4 associates in the front who were apparently not able to assist. These associates were gabbing about when they were to take lunch breaks and how Friday night dates went, but made absolutely zero effort to assist. I understand being a busy weekend, but the place was not very full and I don't understand the purpose of staff hanging around if they can't assist customers. I echo everyone's sentiments. The customer service here is trash . My fiancé and I are renovating a home in Claremont so we decided to come here for bathroom fixtures. I must admit the showroom was awesome and after a little wait we were seen by a sales rep, let's just call her M for short.... M was nice she recommend some very beautiful fixtures that were in our budget. M said our fixtures would arrive in a couple of days at which point she would ship them to my fiancé's business. In addition, M told us she would email us a quote for the appliances that we liked. Well, did M do what she said? Absolutely not! After 2 weeks of waiting I decided to call in to learn that my products had arrived. I figured they had no intention to ship my products after they had been in the shop collecting dust for a week, so I drove down there to retrieve them. Ran into M at the store who explained she was behind and will send our quote in a couple of days... that was 3 weeks ago... Anyway, I opened my products, at my residence, to find most of them had imperfections like scratches, dents etc. So I called immediately to order replacement items. I ordered replacements 3 weeks ago. I received no call, no email, no text from Ferguson on the whereabouts of my items. I called in yesterday and was told my products are still in the warehouse in Stockton CA. I was left a vm stating my items will be in soon, but I'm not holding my breath. Needless to say, their communication is non existent like their customer service. I had such high hopes for Ferguson because from the outside it looks like they have it all together. I have been shopping here for years and have done at least 20 different jobs along the way. I have never had any issues and the staff is amazing. Ted, Sri, Jessica and staff are an amazing team. Their knowledge is outstanding and truly care about their customers. We have had issues with defective products showing up from the manufacturers before, and they always take care of the problem, no questions asked.
