Would not recommend took my dog to this pet hospital four times since January and was no resolution to his issue. My poor dog had severe pain, itchy dry skin they prescribed pain meds and allergy meds, xray and blood work and claimed all results came back normal. My dog lost 20 pounds in 6 months I felt like they just wanted to take my money and still no diagnosis. I decided to take my dog to a different vet and requested all medical records including his X-rays spent two weeks trying to collect everything and was told they could not locate his X-ray. Had to get X-ray redone and was seen by new vet and my poor dog was diagnosed with a couple things including a ruptured infected ear drum that could have been resolved with proper treatment since January. Will never go back and will never recommend this location to no one read more

This place is terrible do not bring your puppy here! I have a maltipoo and I brought her in to get her 2nd round shots and a checkup. I wanted them to check her for fleas because she was scratching and I had just purchased her. After a very long wait they told me I would be charged $50 on top of the 2nd shot medication price for an initial check up. After "checking" her they told me that her fur is long and therefor they didn't see anything. Less than a week later my poor puppy has been scratching like crazy and certain spots on her skin is raw from scratching so bad. I went in to get her 3rd round of shots and told the vet that she has fleas and I need them to be treated. When I went to her appointment they told me they had to charge another $50 to check if she had fleas! I refused to pay because I had already paid this fee and they did nothing. They told me they would charge $27 instead. After looking at her they found a ton of fleas and ended up charging me $170 for 3rd round shots and some kind of flea medication. On top of this they didn't even have the medication in stock that she needed! This could have all been avoided if the vet had done his job right the first time I brought her in and actually inspected my puppy for these nasty critters. Now she is suffering and my family and I are left with an infested puppy and possible infested house. My family has been going here for years and I cannot believe the treatment we received from this vet. Smh. We will be finding a new vet ASAP. DO NOT GO HERE! DO NOT bring your animal here to have x-rays. My family and I recently had a horrible experience here. We brought our 5yr old dog in because he was not eating and not having bowel movements. X-rays were taken and reviewed in house and the Dr said he didn't know what was wrong and gave us antibiotics as his white blood cell count was high. Our dog was sent home and continued to get worse. We called in and they told us to keep giving the antibiotics. We took him to Imperial Animal Hospital for a second opinion. They used THE SAME X-RAYS that the first vet took and noticed an obstruction in his intestines. They recommended he have a test done so they can see where the blockage was at. They found the spot and recommended surgery after he was not able to pass whatever was in him. Sure enough, he swallowed something he couldn't pass...A TOY ROPE! (Picture attached) Dr said his esophagus was really large which is why he was able to swallow something so large. Our dog was in recovery for three days before passing away. The Dr said, had this been treated sooner he could have had a better chance of surviving but since that was in his intestines for so long and he hadn't had a bowel movement in over a week it destroyed his insides. HAD THIS DR KNOWN HOW TO READ HIS X-RAYS AND HAD THE KNOWLEDGE, we are all certain that our 5yr old dog would still be alive! read more

I cannot review the pet hospital as we only received euthanasia services. As for the service I would give more stars if possible. Dr Stu and his vet tech George came to our home to assist in our dogs's passing. After 16 years of friendship and failing health Dr Stu and George were there and with great compassion assisted her departure. They spent time before describing the procedure and afterwards to offer support. We are so glad to have been able to give this one last gift of a peaceful passing in her home surrounded by the ones she loved. This clinic disappoints at every turn. My mother scheduled an appointment for something as basic and routine as vaccinations only to be told when we arrived for our appointment at 10AM the Vet would not arrive until 11AM. We were told we would have to drop off our dog and pick him up in a couple hours. We were shocked by this request however we kindly obliged. At 11:30AM we call for an update on our dog only receive a answering machine that says they are closed?' Umm excuse me! You have had my dog locked up in a kennel since 10am for what reason?! And you don't call with an update before closing (I'm assuming for lunch) ridiculous! Finally was able to get a hold of some one at 12:20PM to then be informed he's next?! So his appointment was at 10AM for simple vaccinations that that take seconds to administer but he still hasn't even been seen?! Poor time management, if you were to ask me. My mother, under the assumption he was next heads to the Vet to pick up our dog at 1PM (3 hours after being dropped off) only to be informed the Dr. is still not in clinic and he had not been seen or vaccinated. People treat there pets like family at least we do and this kind of poor time management and neglect is wildly unacceptable! Do not take your furry family members to this establishment unless you want to be given the run around. Poor communication, poor time management, and lack of transparency. read more

I directly have to share my opinion about this. I feel really not satisfied with that because the place just charged me for some medications or examinations or others without asking me if I can do it or giving me some advice. They just kept giving us the medications. Sometimes they couldn't tell me what was wrong with my pets. I want to know what happened when they found out about my pets. They seemed not to know how to put some answers. Yesterday, my big dog (German Shepherd) recently passed away at my home. My dad picked him up and bought him to the vet but no one helped us to bring a big dog's dead body to the vet. A female vet assistant told my dad to bring a dog into the inside of the vet but the big dog's body was pretty heavy! She seemed a little bad attitude. Wow, some vet assistants are supposed to must be responsible for their job to bring dead dogs or cats. I couldn't believe they let the clients to carry their poor pets. Sometimes it's inappropriate. Wtf. Honestly, they are not enough helpful. Some vet assistants weren't respectful and unprofessional. It made me really disappointed. I can say this place is full of crap and doesn't care about how pets have health problems. They are acting like lazy. They are supposed to do their damn job for taking care of pets. read more

I brought my dog to this place she was diagnosed with parvo. The puppy died a few days later. Vet said it was due t her not responding to treatment. I took my AkC registered Champion bloodline cane corso this place for a neutering procedure. The dog died that same night from bleeding out internally. The first dog gave them a pass but this second one total incompetence. There was no blood work done prior. The dog was coughing and I was told it was normal it wasn't. I reported this vet to the DCA. If I could give zero stars I would. I called to make an appointment to spay my cat. They placed me on hold for almost an hour, only to pick up my call and tell me that they're closing now and refused to help me. I checked their hours and they didn't close for another hour. I explained that I'd been waiting on hold for an hour and just wanted to make an appointment, and the lady straight up didn't care at all, "Well were closing so I can't help you, call back Monday" I waited an HOUR ON HOLD just to be blown off. Lazy, rude, and either lied to me or just refused to help at all. Disgusting behavior. Never called again or went back. Found an AMAZING veterinarian near my home and have never, ever, been treated the way that this dump treated me. If they treat you this badly just over the phone, how do you think they treat your pets when you drop them off? No Thank You. If it was possible to give this place a hundred stars I would. I highly recommend Yesterday was one of the most stressful days of my life. My female frenchie (Gucci) was in labor and I didn't know she was pregnant. I took her to Southeast Pet Hospital, who is my regular vet. After an X-ray Dr. Kaustubh Bhalerao confirmed she was pregnant with 3 puppies and needed an emergency C -section. They typically can perform a C - section there but because of the number of surgeries previously scheduled they were unable to perform one at that time, As I sat in my car frantically calling local emergency pet hospitals they recommended to see if they could take her. The doctor comes out and tells me she had 1 puppy naturally. My heart sank, I didn't Know what to do. It's one of those moments where you freeze and you don't know what to do. The doctor must have seen the confusion in my face and he offered for me to go inside and see my Gucci and her baby. Words can't explain how grateful I am to the Dr. and his staff. They were all extremely busy and still took the time to explain what was happening. They truly do care about the animals they treat. I was extremely stressed and was panicking and they made me feel comfortable and even offered me a chair so I could be next to my baby. Beware this is not a hospital, this is a clinic that is not fully equipped as an actual Vet hospital. Called on Tuesday 11/23 for a house visit I was informed that would be hard to schedule as Vet was scheduled for in office visits however to send pictures and I would get a call back regardless either for in house or office visit. On Wednesday I never got a call back from them... Friday morning I was able to get an appointment, took my doggy and was never given an actual diagnosis however was informed that maybe putting her to sleep was the best choice for her because she may be suffering from Pyometra. Then after an XRay, Vet continued to go based on the suspicion that this was a case of Pyometra and surgery would be extremely invasive on her however was not sure yet and also had two masses in her abdomen/ bladder area. Due to not having an actual diagnosis and bit of pieces were given how severe was her condition however not actually pin pointing the big overall medical diagnosis. I decided to go elsewhere. I did ask for something to relive her vomiting and pain and was given amoxicillin which is an antibiotic for possibly infection but again not to clear about what infection, where and what is her main health issue which makes it extremely difficult for a pet owner to make such decision without a clear picture other than "she's not doing good". $600 and some change and I wish I would've taken her elsewhere first however due to the holidays it was near impossible to get her in elsewhere. read more

Great care, customer service, and low prices. Can't go wrong. Been here 3x since then and will continue to take my pets here. I started taking my elderly cat here when she started to get sick and her original vet moved. From the first appointment the vet was compassionate and honest. He didn't peddled tons of meds or procedures that wouldn't help. He took the time to fully explain what was happening, what would help, what may not, how to change her diet and was realistic that based on her age and condition it was more about quality of life. After some months of improvements my pet took a turn for the worst. When it was time to make the difficult decision to put her to rest he was very accommodating as they offer in house calls. He was patient with us as we said our goodbyes and seeing him being caring towards my pet it's apparent he really cares about animals. I took my two year old Boston Terrier in for diarrhea on January 3rd they drew blood and gave him some fluids and the very next day my baby couldn't get up and was in pain, The doctor said his blood work was fine and maybe he was sore from the shot. Something didn't seem right, so I took him to a different hospital that's where they discovered pretty significant amount of subcutaneous hemorrhage on the same area where they gave him the shot. I went back to get an explanation from the doctor and he didn't have any for me, all he said was I will investigate with the tech that gave my baby the shot and never heard back. My baby passed away a week later due to some negligence from this office. Try to avoid them! read more

This review is based on my recent visit and follow up. My dog had hematoma on both ears and the vet was very kind to verbally walk me through the draining procedure (several times, as requested) and thoroughly explain the medication and attention my dog needed for proper recovery. Vet was very nice to work with me financially and for that reason, I will take all my other pets to this location. But what earns this review 5 stars is the receptionist. Her follow up is Spot On! Few days after my visit, my dogs ears were flaring up so big that I thought they were going to pop. I was in a panic but because of my work schedule, and the Vet's (specific vet I wanted to attend my dog) day off, I had to wait. Anyways, the receptionist kept calling me throughout the day as I requested to try to set up a day and time that would work for me. We needed an in home pet euthanasia service for our 13 1/2 year old Akita as there was no way we could get our fur baby into a car to take to our usual vet. They recommended Southeast Pet Hospital. Dr. Stu arrived with his assistant and he did a great job explaining our Akita's difficulty walking and rapid health decline. The procedure was done in our backyard where our dog was completely comfortable and relaxed. She showed none of the anxiety she has in a vet office and went to sleep peacefully. My brothers dog Rogue was attacked by a stray in our neighborhood. Dr. Raj was great! I felt like he really cared about my pet. I went in during their vaccine clinic so it was pretty busy but the front desk staff made me feel like my dogs situation was very important, even though there was a swarm of people around the desk. The reason for only 3 stars is because their lobby, exam room and front stairs smelt very strongly like urine. I know what your thinking... It's a vet clinic of course it's going to smell.
