What a find! From booking the adventure to seeing the pictures of our rafting trip everything was perfect. We took level IV trip. The longer and wilder portion of the river. Felt 100% safe (even when I was dumped overboard). Safety is their priority without skimping on fun and adrenaline rushes. Jon was our guide and he was great. Amanda did a phenomenal job taking pictures of the entire trip. No pressure to buy them, but we did! The directions to the store and parking is perfect. Very professional staff, equipment, busses and drivers.

Just went on my 4th trip with SEE and have thoroughly enjoyed them all (2 camping & 2 just rafting). This is top of our must do summer list. The river is beyond explanation, it's just amazing. SEE does a wonderful job with safety and all the guides we've had were great!! We're hoping to do the camping trip again next year. I prefer that trip over any theme park I've been to. If you're even remotely considering a white water trip just do it, you won't regret it & go with SEE.

This outfitter is AMAZING!! Our guide, Seth, was fun, adventurous and showed us a good time. Class 4 and 5 rapids did not disappoint. Would highly recommend booking this outfitter. All the guides were smart, FUN and experienced. Seth was super knowledgeable about the Chatooga River and gave us excellent instruction as a group before taking on the higher level rapids! A must do when your visiting !! Best. Day. Ever. all day long! We WILL be back!!!

What a great adventure!!!! We live nearby in Helen, Ga and were looking for a new adventure- saw a post on Facebook raving about " SEE" ! Our guide was "JP" he was top knotch and extremely knowledgeable- our raft was willing to try anything. Notoriously We ended up being Team Flip but there is something to be said when your whole crew wanted to run back upstream and DO IT AGAIN!!!!!

Absolutely amazing white water rafting trip! We did the section IV rapids and had a blast. They were very well prepared and always had safety observers and people ready for rescue in case someone fell overboard. The provided lunch was yummy and all of the guides were fun to hang out with. I've already recommended it to all of my friends!

We went on our first white water rafting experience and we absolutely loved it and had a splash of fun! Our guides were Austin and Alyssa! They were phenomenal!

What a great whitewater rafting trip in the footsteps of Burt Reynolds and "Deliverance". Made all the better by the amazing guides and professionalism of the Southeastern Expeditions company. Our party of 3 plus the guide in one raft made this a very personal trip even though our group consisted of 6 rafts. Our guide was very personable, engaging, knowledgeable and most of all fun. Unlike trips we had done on the west coast the river really helped our progression downstream with very little actual paddling required between rapids. Our lunch stop and swim provided an ideal opportunity to mingle with the other rafters in our group and listen to the guides exploits during high water levels. We have an amazing time and will definitely be back to tackle the river during a higher and more adventurous water level. Perfect rafting trip for the whole family and highly recommended.

Had an incredible experience! Would do it again and again. Felt safe, was never nervous. Maybe next time we'll do the section 4/5 run. Our guide was Dakota. He was a rockstar. I'd request him again too if we could.

Had an amazing day on the river with my family. My son and I have hit rivers before together, but not my wife and 12yo daughter. Stephen took great care of us and was a great leader. He kept it light and fun. We did section III. We'll be back to do section IV! Lunch on the river was a nice break. Build your own sandwich with fixings and fruit and cookies. Impressive they pack all that in for us and kept it fresh and dry.

The river was a bit low because the later in the year you go, it's a drier season for nature controlled rivers.

Thanks to Wildwood Outfitters for a great day on the Chattahoochee.!…read more The guys were super efficient and made our trip easy! A short shuttle ride to the put-in of 'Section 3' and we were in business. Good boats, paddles, and pfd's along with accurate river running tips and bright sunshine made for a mellow getaway on the 'Hooch.

Can't say enough good things about Wildwood Outfitters! We were in Helen, GA for Memorial Day…read moreweekend. Cool River was not renting tubes because of the dangerous water conditions. I appreciated their honesty because I'd had a terrible experience tubing previously. They recommended Wildwood Outfitters as an option to do something else, farther down the river where it's deeper and potentially more calm. It's crazy how much the water conditions can change from day to day! Chris greeted us at Wildwood Outfitters. He was so nice and knowledgeable. He discouraged us from kayaking - none of us were familiar with this river, although we had been kayaking before, and most of the sections where they take folks are Class 3+ rapids. Again, due to my past trauma, I thought it was best to take his advice, even though we were disappointed. Just as we were about to leave, he ran back out, and asked if we might be interested in rafting instead. He explained how it would work for the three of us and which section of the river would be best (Section 2, mostly flat or Class 1 rapids with only one area of Class 2 rapids), so we decided to take a chance. It cost about $100, so about $30 pp, with no particular time restrictions. Before we left, Chris took the time to explain how to navigate the rapids, what to expect every step of the way, and what to do if you fall out of the raft. We got helmets and life jackets, as well as a bag to keep our things dry. Although largely unsupervised, we were able to leave our keys in the outpost. They dropped us off and helped us carry the raft down to the embarkation point. I would have been terrified no matter what, but I felt well prepared. The river conditions were exactly as described and Chris's advice was spot on. He'd told us where to call from the raft when we were ready to be picked up, and we were so happy to see his smiling face (and his adorable dog) at the shore. Apparently the rafts hadn't been used in some time, and although they were properly inflated and maintained, there had been a small leak causing the raft to deflate and take on a lot of water. Thankfully they'd given us a bucket to bail the water out, but I basically spent the entire time bailing (giving me a good excuse not to have to paddle, though!). Chris felt terrible. He immediately offered us our money back, or anything else he could do to compensate us. We still had a great time and everyone was safe and dry at the end so we didn't feel that a refund was necessary. We ended up grabbing a couple of cold drinks and some t-shirts and called it even. The outpost was well-equipped with a portopotty, a changing area, and a shower. If you have your own kayak/raft you can hire them just to take you to your selected section. The prices are very reasonable. I would 100% recommend this business and will even think about doing it again!

As a family, we have done guided, self guided, and tandem kayaks. If you do the kayaks, I encourage you to get the wetsuits - even in July. Fast Rivers is a family owned business that really cares about your experience. Their guides are well trained and watch out for everyone on the river. They are super friendly and most importantly, experienced. On our last trip down the Nantahala, my husband went with my son in a two person kayak. He is not as experienced on rivers as me, but has done a few. He was thrown and was having a very hard time getting back into the boat and reoriented. One of the guides stopped his trip and took care of my husband and 12 year old. He talked him through the whole process and handled the whole situation perfectly. Again, can't say enough good things about Fast Rivers. Only suggestion- manually put their address in GPS. The old location showed up when I automatically clicked on an old link making us slightly late. The business is very close to where the rafts are put in on the Nantahala and on the other end of the river run from NOC.

When you are in the area, check them out you will not be disappointed.
