After selecting plan this comes up on the screen!
    Mrs. T.

For two weeks I have tried to switch my energy plan. Impossible to complete online. See photos below. SCE has abysmal public footprint. I cant change plan online as link is broken and the virtual assistant cant change it either. I thought AT&T had incompetent system, but SCE stands in a mire of their own making . Fortunately there is only a two hour wait but my call is "very important" to them.

SCE is a rip off! I've been showing a credit on my SCE bill of over $4000. We have solar and we sell back our energy. I called SCE at the end of March and ask them for a refund. The gentleman on the phone said yes he gets a lot of calls of people asking for refunds and They do refund it. It takes about two weeks and asked me to call back on April 17, 2026 and at that time I would be told when to expect a refund. I called this morning. The gentleman I talked to you this time on the phone was rude and hard to understand. He told me that was a mistake and that I will not be getting a refund. In fact I owe $1400 and wanted to know when I would pay it. I went back on our account and nowhere, Does it show that we ever had that credit, I'm glad I took a picture of it. SCE you are thieves.

Thomas Edison would be rolling in his grave to see what's become of his namesake company... Where do I begin? Let's start with incredibly high rates and aggressive pricing policies. They are not there to help and they are not your friends... Next are the constant service interruptions. They occur routinely every month or two in our area and this has been going on for years. It's so expected for us that we've had to install emergency lighting in every room in the house and purchase a backup generator, just to make sure we're safe, warm and that our food doesn't spoil. And when the wind blows, forget about it. They will randomly shut off the power at the first sign of a breeze, for fear of their faulty equipment causing a fire. And while they're supposed to send out notices ahead of time, that only works about half the time. Finally, let's discuss the elephant in the room. Their dangerous and faulty equipment has caused wholesale destruction on a massive scale, from entire neighborhoods and business districts being leveled, to dozens of deaths. Other countries, and even other state's electrical grids do not have this problem just because the wind blows. Only SCE... Unfortunately for many of us, we have no choice except to connect to their grid. And when you do, you're in for an expensive wild ride from blackouts, planned power outages and fires. It's like living in an Irwin Allen movie.

Where should I go to change the billing name for my service. It is currently in my wife's name and she has passed away?

Joseph, first off, so sorry for your loss. To change the name on your SCE account/bill, you will need to submit a new move in request. Your service will not be interrupted as the purpose is only to change service responsibility.… Read more

A week later, we started having sewage come up from the pipes below our bathtub. After paying $450 to plumbers to figure out what was happening, they showed us that the pipe was damaged in the street... right under where the Gas Co excavated a few weeks earlier. I called the Gas Co and was told a 'supervisor' would call me. They never did. I called the Gas Co AGAIN the next day, they said a supervisor would call me. Nobody called. I tried calling the Santa Marg. Water District and they sent someone out immediately. The crew put cameras down the pipe and saw that yes, the sewage pipe was disturbed/moved in the exact location of the Gas Co.'s digging into the street. The water guys tried calling the Gas Co and also got ignored. WTF!? Meanwhile the sewage is STILL leaking into the street (under it) and it smells. Eventually the leaking from the pipe will also start to cause the dirt beneath the street to erode... Why aren't they fixing this? There's no question that the Gas guys caused damage, so why aren't they fixing it??? Called the City Council today, hopefully they can help.

Western Rooter was the first to reach out and we scheduled an appointment for today, 6/2/26. They sent Richie, who was polite, prompt, and professional. I asked him to remove some additional debris from the water damage and help me access a water shut off valve in a wall, and he gladly helped with those too. Great customer service, I would definitely recommend them.

He came and gave us an estimate, and it was cool that there is a discount for multiples of the same job. He came back the next day to do the work and he walked me thru everything he would be doing and how long it would take so I could plan around the water being off. Got it done sooner than he expected! After he left there was one place that I saw was dripping a teeny bit, I texted and he came back the next day, fixed it, no problem! Coincidentally we needed a backflow test so we had Alex out the following week and he was great too! He let us know that although we passed this year to be ready for next year being a problem, and we appreciate the heads up! The backflow test was $100 less that another place we used to use so we win! We will absolutely use Western again and would recommend them 100%!

Drop off was super easy- left my car around 9am and was able to pick it up at 1pm. I had just been camping and so I knew I had a decent amount of sediment inside. There was a lot of discoloration from my repeated sunblock use and they were able to remove it all. I requested the CPR detail package, which was $180, and it was so worth it! The interior and exterior were well taken care of and I was given a 40 minute heads-up call for when the car would be done. This gave me plenty of time to head over since I live out of town. StreamDrive was willing to provide an estimate with the details provided in messaging, unlike the other companies who contacted me! Every other businesses' response boiled down to, "bring your car in and we'll look at it." The old entrapment model of auto detailing. Where they're counting on you not having the willpower to leave if the work has already begun. Luke at StreamDrive was able to accommodate my current situation and offered to swing by and see the condition of my car in-person and provide the quote. By default, that's 5-stars "above and beyond" service. I want to recommend his business to people for life! My Honda C-RV needed prep for resale. StreamDrive really went in and did some disinfecting, were able to remove lingering odors, got the leather restored, restored the headlights, and even performed a trim restore so this 2013 car looks really fresh! I wasn't expecting to write a review for this auto detailing service, so I don't have any "before" photos. I'm sorry about that, it's not an ideal situation for a glowing restoration review. I'm not so comfortable sharing pictures of my personal vehicle in the first place, you know what I mean? My pics just look like a super clean car. You can't tell it was ever damaged! $400 all-in inside-and-out restoration, under the hood, even buffing out some minor scuffs and scrapes it looks like, as well as painting/restoring the sun-faded plastic panels all around the vehicle: that's a value. No gap left untouched, unlike a drive-thru detailing service. I'm getting return on investment and then some because I'm now able to sell at top dollar private party fair market value.

THE TRUTH ABOUT S.C. EDISON'S "ENERGY SAVINGS PROGRAM" WITH…read more"FREE APPLIANCES": S.C.Edison's Free Appliances Program is a scam. I applied, got approved, and never got any appliances. Here is how they do their scam: - You apply and qualify = Then they send you someone to do a "home inspection" to "see what appliances you need" - Then you get a written APPROVAL NOTICE, listing what appliances they will give you After that, the show is over. You get nothing. How ? Here is how: You are referred back to their contractor, who is actually a co-conspirator, meaning his job is to give you nothing, so the funds they receive from the government does not get spent on appliances, but stays in Edison and Harrison Cons' pockets. John Harrison is the name of the local crook who works iwth So. Cal. Edison Crooks, to scam S.C.E's customers. When I found this all out and began to broadcast it, in addition to launching multiple complaints, S.C.Edison suddenly withdrew their Appliance Approval. I called and asked what reason they have for it. Answer: we have no reason, no cause. We just decided to void the Approval. Then they restarted the application process, saying I will need to wait for 30 days for re-approval. Whether they approve an application or not, doesn't even matter. Fact is: the customer never gets an appliance, because S.C.E and their fake contractor keep the funds in their own pockets. There are probably even no appliances anywhere. John Harrison Inc is not an Appliance Contractor. He is listed as a Construction Contractor. This mega-scam is going on for years. I am now taking it to the government and the Feds. If you have been scammed by S.C.Edison the same way: Contact the CPUC, FBI, Local Law Enforcement, write a review here, and call NBC. This mega-scam is now going public. The damages are in the millions. Lawsuits will follow, guaranteed.
