Oxnard Harbor is the perfect place to escape the heat! If you're in the mood for a leisurely cruise around the harbor on an electric boat, then they got you covered. Literally , the boats have covered canopies! Coordinate with your crew on who's bringing what, and ensure you have snacks, drinks, and music! Is that too slow of a pace for you? Well then, an hour ride on some Jet Skis will do the trick! That's more of my speed anyway! The jet skis fit two people, but I prefer my own. They are way too much fun to share! I'm not getting stuck behind someone, holding on as passenger. I need to be driving! As you exit the marina area you're forced to go slow. Don't let that fool you. Once you move past the designated area, outside the jetty's, then you're allowed to open up the throttle! All the way! You quickly get going on these guys! There is so much to see out there in the sea! If you're lucky enough to ride out near the oil platforms, you'll get to catch a view of Sea Lions and Dolphins. It's a truly 'freeing' sensation to be out there among the wildlife and sail boats. While an hour sounds short for many, this is plenty of time for an adventure. I regularly visit during the summer months. The price point is reasonable. It's money well spent! read more

Had a wonderful time doing an electric boat rental. We booked a 1 hour session and had an easy time finding parking. The staff was very chill and friendly and the weather was fantastic! Super great especially with the heatwave season in Los Angeles. We got to steer the boat ourselves and enjoy the views and weather. I especially enjoyed the option to bluetooth connect our music to the boat as the speakers were wonderful and added to the ambiance of our cruise. At first, the steering wheel felt loose and delayed with our turns but after some time, we all got used to the steering and fully relaxed and chilled. We were a group of 5 and there was nice ample space for us all. I know it can hold up to 12 max and when we were leaving, there was a huge family awaiting. I know that most of them would need to stay seated with the more cramped room but I'm sure the experience would still be lots of fun. The boat interior was clean and the life jackets stationed at the front. You definitely need to keep it clean and of course follow the rules or deal with fines. It was memorable pleasurable experience. The jetski are new, comfortable, and speed could be adjusted. Instructor guided. We had an incredible experience with SoCal Jet Skis on the hottest day of the year so far. Despite the crowds, their team was fast, efficient, and super organized. Tony, (not sure if hes the owner or manager) gave us fantastic customer service, and Calum was friendly, helpful, and eager to get us out on the water. The Duffy boat was spotless, in excellent condition, and they are pet friendly (yep! we brought our dog along!!). We had so much fun we booked a second rental later that same day, and we'll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend them for a fun outing exploring the Channel Islands Harbor. I ordered a large Duffy boat online and came at the appointed time. We had two families altogether and the man at the dock had everything ready for us. We had a great time duffing around the harbor. Highly recommend. It's slow going and you don't get seasick. So much fun! We brought snacks and drinks aboard. I had the most fun driving the thing. read more

Tony owns the business and takes groups out onto the ocean off Oxnard in Ventura County. We turned up and started out but got turned back by heavy fog and Tony said "no problem mate ( being from down under)" just reschedule for another day which we did and had a fabulous day in big waves at a very reasonable price per hour including video by tony! This place was sooooo much fun! First time jet skiers, HIGHLY recommend. Gareth was such a fun guide and took so many good, aesthetic pics of my husband and I out on the water. We got to ski with dolphins and went everywhere. Prices are great and extremely worth it. We paid $150 for a double jet ski for an hour, and it was PLENTY of time. Margo was also such a great helper. This was such a great experience! Brand new jet skis, clear instruction, & I felt very safe. Had really nice guides Hunter and CC (Cece?) and they were able to take pictures on their personal phones if you don't have a waterproof camera. Great way for them to get some extra tips. There are boxes for you to put your stuff in there. You go out into the open ocean and you get the option to go really fast in a group under the supervision of the guides. Want to go again already! Booking on their website was easy and check in was quick. The SeaDoos looked brand new and were well taken care of. I took my 12 year old daughter and we had a blast. She was smiling the whole time and got the SeaDoo up to 40mph more than a few times. The guide Tom took amazing pics and video of us and sent them to us when we got back to the dock. Tom also showed us a few spots with a ton of sea lions and dolphins, that was so beautiful. We would definitely do this again next time we visit. read more

Went out on our Anniversary for my first time Jet Skiing. Gareth took us and showed us an incredible time. Wife fell off ski and he raced over right away to help her safely back on. He also took a bunch of pictures of us. What an awesome memory we have. Really nice brand new skis, super fast and responsive controls. Price was 100,000% worth it because we had a freaking blast. We rent jet skis all the time! We went to this place because of the stellar reviews. The guy goes out in the water with you and stays with your party the whole time but we let it rip as soon as he said we were clear. We forgot he was even there because we had soooo much fun. This was my absolute favorite place to rent from because of the space we had and the free rain to go as fast as we could several times. We will be back! read more

Great company! Found them while browsing yelp and def don't regret it, there pricing is unbeatable and they were extremely nice with any questions I had. They also have wet suits for rent for $10 which I highly recommend it gets super cold out there when your going fast. We ended up going past the wall to check out the waves further out but honestly it was a huge mistake, the swell was bad ! Thank god we made it to the other side safe and we ended up playing with the jet ski closer to shore. We fell off our jet ski once which was a little scary but our guide came fast to check on us. awesome company highly recommend read more

We had so much fun!!! We rented a boat on a Sunday afternoon. Thankfully we were able to get a reservation in at the time we wanted. Check in process was easy and they took us in right away and gave us the whole safety spiel. I was impressed at how clean the boat was. It almost looked brand new!!! It was well kept and maintained even before getting on ans after getting off I saw the guy cleaning and wiping it down which is pretty awesome. $99 for an hour cant beat that. They also offer jet skis. Going down the marina was nice but no speed boating. We had a great time and got some great pictures as well. We most definitely will be back and would highly recommend them. We plan on coming again next month to celebrate my Husbands bday. So excited. Thumbs up in my book!!! read more

I surprised my husband for his birthday and took him jet skiing. We each had our own jet ski and had so much fun. Initially when I was informed that our guide, Garreth, was going to accompany us along with another jet skier, I didn't find it too appealing. I soon realized that his presence enhanced our experience. He led us out of the harbor and pretty much let us do our thing. At first I was apprehensive on the open water, but having him out there made me feel more comfortable. He pointed out a school of dolphins that swam along side our jet skis! it was an awesome experience that we plan to do again with this company. We witnessed this company take a group out to the sea lion buoy and proceed to drive over groups of sea lions again and again. They were within a couple feet of the buoy scaring the sea lions off the buoy as well. So alarming that we stopped our boat and told the group leader that they need to give the sea lions space as what they are doing is illegal. His respond was that he had no idea. What an absolute idiot. We reported them to authorities and I hope no one patronizes this company. You have to have respect for the ocean. read more

We have patronize this place twice in the last month after discovering it. The first time we went out with a group, and the second time we did a private tour. Both times were absolutely fantastic. They're super conscientious of marina rules and ocean life. We truly had the time of our lives! I know they can't guarantee that you get to see dolphins but we got to see a huge pod of dolphins who swim around us, and it was a remarkable experience. I love companies that are great to their employees, as this company most assuredly is, and ones were the owner is hands-on. Tony is fantastic, as well as Tom, our guide twice now. You can always tell when someone loves their job and when they've been at it more than six years with a smile and a great attitude every day it's gold- for the owner obviously, but also for the clients! read more

My gf an I are so glad that they are open during Covid-19! Moreover, everyone wore masks and were super professional. With a guide always within eyeshot, we still had both the safety and freedom to do as we pleased. We even found a patch of dolphins that rode with us (close enough to almost touch!!!) Took my son for his 17th birthday and had a blast! The skis were new and well-maintained. Ended up being just us for the 1-hour excursion. We were accompanied by Hunter, who led us to a pod of dolphins feeding on a fish ball and then out to the Harbor buoy where the sea lions hung out. We then jetted out to the nearby oil rig and zipped around the open ocean. It was my son's first time and he is eager for another excursion. I told him we will go again next year for his 18th birthday and then he will be old enough to ride solo. Thank you Hunter and team for making my son's birthday present such a fun time! read more

DONT normally write reviews but this was amazing. I enjoyed a thrilling ride on the extremely fast jet ski's this place has with an instructor who was kind and attentive to all riders who were out in the water. Dolphins happened to show up near the end of my ride which made this my best jet ski rental experience yet!10/10 would recommend this place! The workers really seem to love their job which brings a sense of safety and securement while riding. They will even take pics and videos of you while you ride! read more

They also said parts were available and the job could be complete the following day. I explained that I needed the bike to get home. They offered to adjust their schedule and complete the task within an hour and a half. They did this and now the bike rides perfect!

A large picnic table area can be found in the middle of the center too so you can being lunch and snacks too. There a larger Olympic size pool on the west end of the center that can be used for lap swimming so overall it's great for all ages and swimming levels. We're planning to be here quite a bit for the summer! There's also cabanas to change into and showers to rinse off before and after swimming.

Really had such a wonderful day on the water! Tony (the owner) is a great guy and gave my dad and I everything we needed to have fun on the jet skis. They are all brand new and in impeccable condition. Tony is very knowledgeable about the ski doos and a cool dude. He also gave us tips about where to go to find calm water, so we could go as fast as we wanted without having to fight through choppy water. And we did go as fast as it could go once we were out on the ocean! We also saw sea lions, a dolphin, and a group of more than a 1000 birds. Couldn't stop laughing while I was out there and it was really great having a full hour out on the ocean. I am already looking forward to the next time we go to Southern California (So Cal) Jet skis. Visited CI Harbor for the weekend and had many activity options. I tried out SoCal Jet Skis and LOVED IT. From the moment I walked up the service was phenomenal. Tony the owner was very attentive and welcoming. The sign up/ reservation process was easy and quick. Cece, the safety instructor, was very clear with the safety guidelines and instructions on operating the skis. Riding out, doing 40 mph out in the beautiful ocean was the funnest experience hands down. Cece spotted some dolphins and pointed them out to us. So Cal Jet Skis is AWESOME!! The gear is basically brand new, everyone on his crew is super cool and friendly. You can go check out the seals on the bouy, or head out to sea and hunt for dolphins. We see dolphins almost every time we go out. We even saw a whale one outing. We've headed out about 50 times with friends and family and have just as much fun every time we go! If you're looking to have a blast anywhere from LA up to Santa Barbara, get your arse in your car and drive to Oxnard to experience the best jet skis in Southern California!!!! read more

This place was so dope! My friend and I came here for my birthday today and it was insane. We got to see sea lions and dolphins and the weather was amazing. Our instructor Cecelia was awesome too. She made sure we all knew how to work the jet ski's and took tons of pictures for us while we were in the water. Definitely recommend this place. We tried going to 805 jet ski and it was a complete joke so we drove ten minutes to SoCal Jet Skis and it was beyond worth it. Thank you guys for an experience I'll never forget!!!! read more

My friend took me to Oxnard yesterday to have a most positive, fun hour out on the ocean with our guide CeCe. The owner, Tony, as well as CeCe, gave us a thorough intro and orientation before we got on our skidoos and out we went to zoom around the open waters. The views were great, the boats, sailboats and paddle boarders were fun to see and we all had more then plenty of space out there. It was warm and beautiful. I loved it. Thanks Tony and CeCe. Probably one of the most frustrating and disappointing charter experiences I've ever had--and I say…read morethat as someone who understands fishing doesn't always go your way. We spent 3.5 hours on the boat before a single line even hit the water. After finally starting, we fished for about 30 minutes, only to pack up again and spend another 1.5 hours cruising to a different spot near an oil rig. Yes, the fishing improved there--but by then, most of the trip had already been wasted just moving around. On what's supposed to be a ¾-day trip, we spent roughly 5.5 hours doing nothing but traveling, dealing with tangled lines, and waiting. That's not "a slow day of fishing"--that's poor planning and inexperience. It was openly stated this was a new crew, including the captain, and unfortunately, it showed. To be fair, the deckhand was great--helpful and professional. But that couldn't make up for everything else. What really crossed the line for me was the environment on board. At one point, another angler yelled at my son, blaming him for a tangled line--only for it to be proven it wasn't even his fault. That should never happen, especially on a trip where families and kids are present. Completely unacceptable. Then, when we picked up our catch, we were given more fish than we actually caught. I understand sharing when limits are reached--but this felt off, like we were handed someone else's hard-earned catch. That takes away from the whole experience. At the end of the day, the low price makes sense--you truly get what you pay for. But I'd rather spend a little more for a well-run, respectful, and enjoyable trip than deal with chaos, wasted time, and a hostile environment. If you're considering this charter--especially if you have kids--I strongly recommend you look elsewhere. I've gone out with Ciscos Sportfishing multiple times, and they have never let me down. Professional crews, organized trips, and a much more family-friendly atmosphere. Save yourself the frustration.
