Well, close was a near bullseye on the first shot; only some fine adjustment was needed. Jim took extra care to mount it correctly with a shim that made it very secure. He called me before proceeding on a small mounting issue he found. Very professional service. On a side note, the new sight helped me harvest a very nice mule deer this season. I wanted a WWI Mauser barrel shortened to produce a more modern Scout rifle with a muzzle break. But after considering the rifle's setup and their lath requirements, we decided that I would be better off using another Mauser for my goal. Their shop looks like a place I would love to go thru and see what treasurers are hiding there. At first glance, it looks sort of discombobulatedly organized.. But after glancing around, I can see the method to their organization. In fact, I was looking for an old set of scope rings for an old .22 rifle sold back then by Sears (they don't sell guns anymore). Jim went thru his stash and found one that would work after looking at a half dozen or more. He also told me how to repair a slight split in the stock. Lots of good advice along with the old set of scope rings. Elite also works on other guns besides bolt actions. Also has a stash of old knives and I don't know what else. I will use them again if I have need for their expertise. Nice guys and knowledgable.

With that said, it was the most rewarding day ever. Bill never pushed us along, in fact he made sure that we tried many club heads, shafts, loft adjustments, and even grips. Let's just say that I've done a process like this before and ended up with a nice set of clubs, but they were "off the shelf", and "their" fitting was NOT a fitting. I can't comment on the club build yet but the process with Bill Greene at the Meridian Idaho store was fantastic!! Highly recommend doing a true full bag fitting.

I had rudimentary knowledge, if you can call it that, that needed a lot of work. Not only did I walk away with a whole new skill set for casting, but also learned multiple casting techniques. I recently got back into golf following my retirement last year and playing golf very infrequently. My clubs were at least 12 years old with steel shafts and I had an even older putter. I am now in my mid 60s and I read that Graphite shafts and new technology could possibly help my game (at the very least, make golfing more enjoyable as my swing speed declines etc.). I went to the PGA Superstore and was fortunate enough to have an appointment with club fitter Max Archibald. I can't tell you enough how patient, knowledgeable and helpful Max was. I thought I wanted certain clubs based on my research, but after working with Max, we determined that I did not need the expensive clubs I was willing to purchase. He could have tried to upsell me, but instead, Max put me in the best clubs for me, and at a lower price. When I went in a couple of weeks later looking for a new putter. Max remembered me and took the time (without my making an appointment) to help me choose the best putter for me. Because of Max, I joined the Players Plus Club there. I would also like to thank Sam Sutherland who helped me pick out a driver and Adam who works up front and is always friendly and willing to help. They have a great crew working there, and I would recommend, that if you are looking for new golf clubs or golf equipment, that you should visit the PGA Superstore in Boise.

Glad to see that Golf Your Way was alive and well and nicely stocked with a impressive selection of golf clothing and merchandise. I ended up buying a pair of golf shoes and proceeded to try them out during my indoor round of golf. I never thought I could actually play an entire 18 holes of golf within an hour. They have improved my game a lot. The courses are a lot of fun to play and they have several games to choose from if you don't want to play normal stroke play golf. The owner and his son are very friendly and helpful. I think the only downside, which is slight, is that their parking lot is small but they are working on remedying that soon.
