Southern salt and loca mocha coffee with cinnamon rolls

Such a hidden gem, love this place! Every time I go it's so peaceful, the nature surrounding is beautiful, it's such a calming atmosphere. The coffee is strong just perfect with everything on their menu. They also sell muffins and goods from local vendors. Everything tastes fresh. The barista and cashier were lovely. 5/5 always!

This was a nice place to study. I do wish there was more of a breakfast variety but I liked that it was hidden in a little corner and it looked beautiful inside

Cute coffee shop. Space to chat with friends or do work. Limited outlets and none by the tables or desks. Decent espresso for a cheap price Tip: easy to miss entrance! There is a flag there if you look closely enough for when to turn right into the shop. If you miss the turn, it will take 5 minutes to loop back around.

The place is super cute and also had a spa inside? I would love to get a spa service and then grab a coffee! The menu is full of delicious offerings, I grabbed a Dubai latte. It was good, I wish I could try everything on the menu. Not a fan of the loud Christian music, so if that could be traumatic for you, take note that this is the kind of place that blares it on loop.

Loving the Southern Salt so far! Tucked away on Midway road, it's a convenient location to meet with friends or grab coffee on the way to work. It does get pretty busy, so plan ahead! To me, they stand out as a coffee shop because of the cozy and inviting space. They also make their syrups in-house and use organic or local ingredients. For the fall, I liked "The Rory" which is a pumpkin spice latte. Lastly, there is a spa connected to the shop as well. There's plenty of room for both under the same building. Next time, I'm getting my nails done and trying the cookie. Overall, I highly recommend checking them out for both locals and visitors alike!

I am so so sad that I recently just found out about this place, because I am in love. I stopped in a few weeks ago and tried the Benny boo boo ( I had to, my son's name is Benjamin) and it was Devine !! So Devine I went the next week and got another. I also ordered their Asiago bagel with the jalapeño cream cheese, my new favorite combo ! ( I forgot to take a picture ) I decided to go again today and tied the signature "southern salt" .... Just wow.. that's all I can say ! Let's just say I'll be there on Monday

So happy I got to check out Southern Salt & Coffee before Hurricane Milton hit! They were INCREDIBLY busy -- one of the only open local coffee spots in the city from the storm -- and there were just 2 lovely ladies working. Before it got crazy busy, I had a moment to chat with one of the owners and she let me know her passion lies in holistic living and she felt a coffee bar would be a great addition to her business. They prioritize local ingredients, make organic syrups in house, and also sell some high-quality snacks as well. I got a blueberry latte and it was DELICIOUS. The blueberry syrup is made with Demerara sugar which I respect so much.

My new favorite spot! The coffee is so good, and my favorite is the Southern Salt (which I have learned that I need to specify "hot"). Their dairy is all local and the affogato (espresso over ice cream) is a luxurious treat! The added bonus is the salt room. You must check out this tucked away gem just over the bridge. You'll quickly become a regular.

A nice location mat a view of woods from the windowpanes. Going there feels like going to a café in some rural woods awer the interior is very modern. Quite unusual as this is a coffeehouse combination mat massage parlor an salt room. The coffee selection has some very creative choices.

The family room. Has toys and tables for the kids and 3 adult chairs to lounge.

Ordered the 3-egg breakfast burrito. Sorry, I've prepared 3-egg breakfasts for myself nearly everyday for 15 years on the Slow Carb Diet and this was probably 2 small eggs. 2 pieces of green pepper. I picked up my order at the counter. Wrapped in paper, on a paper plate with plastic fork and paper napkin. With the foam cup and plastic lid, the disposable trash pile was almost as big as the burrito. I asked for a metal fork. Nope. Go to the Sunrise Cafe. Same prices for MUCH better friendly service and food. I went yesterday and will go there tomorrow as well. I expect this place has great Cuban sandwiches. A fast-food restaurant.

My recent visit was not bad. Just not outstanding. I beat the lunch crowd to the counter service and ordered the roast pork platter ($14.72). It came with a large fountain drink/tea and was served with yellow rice, plantains and a small cup of black beans. The pork and onions were good. Moist and a good helping. The yellow rice was nothing special. But it wasn't dry. Plantains were, again, ok. And the black beans had nice seasoning. All served on a Dixie paper plate with plastic utensils. Quick and efficient. There is plenty of seating, all in an open dining area. No privacy. And it's okay if you bring your mail or a package to be shipped. Those services are available just inside the front door, to the left.

It was calming, healing, and uplifting all at once...the kind of experience that stays with you. I still think about this spa ALL the time. If you need some quiet time to yourself, go. If life has been feeling stressful, go. If you're looking for support with respiratory issues or skin concerns, go. It's such a peaceful place to relax, reset, and take care of yourself. There's something special about salt therapy. Salt is essential to the body, and many people find it incredibly soothing and restorative. The salt room gave me the chance to slow down, breathe deeply, and just be present. The owner was so kind and welcoming. At one point, I needed to step out of the salt room for a bottle of water, and they were incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. I felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. The salt was definitely doing its job--I must have had something that needed clearing out because I felt so much better afterward. Maybe it was my throat chakra. The spa is located in a charming old home that adds so much character to the experience. In the front, they offer natural soaps, room sprays, cleaning products, jewelry, and other lovely items that make great gifts or little treats for yourself. I've since moved away from the area, but I still think about this place often. I can't wait to come back and visit again. It's truly a special little gem.
