They also have a variety of farm needs and animal feeds, including food for domesticated animals. There have been times when they did not have what I was coming in for, but they went and got it and had it by the next day. That, my friends, is excellent customer service. This particular store also carries some really good locally produced honey and some local candies. Finally the customer service is great and they always have staff willing to assist when one seems confused on what to buy.

Since bringing her home, she has been coughing continuously. After spending an additional $906 on veterinary visits and diagnostic testing, we are hopeful that she is finally on the road to recovery. Four weeks later, she is still coughing quite a bit, although her appetite has improved significantly. I understand that breeders need to establish policies and guidelines when selling puppies. However, every reputable breeder I have worked with in the past has required a veterinary examination within the first three days of bringing the puppy home and has provided health coverage for issues identified within the first 14 days. The reason for these policies is simple: responsible breeders do not want to place sick puppies in their new homes and are willing to stand behind the health of the animals they sell. This experience has been both emotionally and financially difficult, and I am disappointed that no responsibility has been taken for a condition that was clearly present when we brought our puppy home.

Over the last two weeks, she met with the puppy, took him to different places, assessed his reaction to people and other dogs, and build fundamentals of better reactions. After two training sessions, I noticed how much more responsive my puppy is and how less he is nervous about distractions on walks. She also gave us a lot of advice regarding jumping (before that we tried multiple methods and those have not been as effective), counter surfing, how to redirect out puppy energy into useful work, so on.
