Never knew this place was here!! My daughter and I just went today and it's a great cafe! The food was good, the restaurant was clean, the service was great! Our server was awesome, had a personality, that is always a plus lol! All of the staff was great. We will be going back for sure! read more

Wow absolutely blow away on how yummy ALL the food was ! Can't wait to go back and try other options! Literally blow away because my hubby and I decided to come in while the car show was happening so the place was absolutely packed like standing room ! And nobody was upset so it really showed that it was worth the wait ! Turns out immediately upon walking in the "dishwasher " motioned was a place at the bar to order and eat ! He was so attentive and he helped me choose my order bc I asked his recommendations..... the waiter , hostess, all workers including the "dishwasher " were all smiling and very attentive with a mass of people hungry either waiting for a seat or eating ! Amazed me that with the amount of people they all were so calm and pleasant and smiling ! Turns out Alex the sweet dishwasher was one of the owners ! He is a gem and definitely has found his side hustle ! Before leaving a sweet man walked up and asked how everything was and I couldn't tell him enough good stuff .... His name is Sam ... the other Owner! Food is very very good not the same commercial food you get at the chains and definitely the workers attitude is by far the best ever !!! They will be opening another soon I believe in Plano ..... love this place ! ( my sister is a GM at Awshucks's on Greenville and she has taught me how to find a good place .... I had high hopes for this restaurant based on positive reviews. The staff was accommodating and the space was clean and bright. However after we were seated in the center of the dining room, I discovered that each time the front door opened I was blasted with cold air from outside. We had to move to a more protected area behind a dividing wall. I ordered a Mexican skillet which was supposed to include cheese. But after a couple of bites I discovered they had left off the cheese!! My husband had also ordered a skillet and his cheese was clearly visible under his eggs. After I pointed out the missing cheese to the server he brought me a small bowl of cold cheese. When I objected to the cold cheese as a solution, he left and got the manager who grabbed my dish from in front of me. I suspected he was just going to throw the cheese on top of my eggs and put it under the broiler. I asked him not to ruin my eggs. He seemed frustrated by my comment and then stated he would make me a new dish ....which I surmised would include the cheese melted on top of the hash browns and under the eggs. I hoped for the best. While waiting, I ate my pancake, which was stone cold by then. My new skillet arrived about 5 minutes later and clearly included cheese. After taking a few bites of the replacement dish, I asked for takeout boxes. Due to the multiple disruptions I was not enjoying my meal and just wanted to leave. As a conciliatory measure the manager offered us coffee to go, but we declined. read more

Found this little gem a few weeks ago and we have been dining here once a week ever since! The food is so fresh and tasty! Service is top notch and worth every penny. This was our first time to Southfork Cafe. I am giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because our server was so nice and attentive. I ordered the classic eggs benedict and my wife had a garden omelet. With hash browns. I did not want potatoes because I try to eat low carb and the english muffin was plenty so I asked for a side of ham and some sliced tomato instead. When they served us the poached eggs were on the muffins with just a very small amount of hollandaise sauce. Not nearly enough. The ham that was supposed to be on eggs Benedict was on a plate. There was not a side of ham and there was hash browns which I specifically said I did not want. They got the tomato on the side right. So the order was wrong. There was maybe 2oz of ham. Not a side of ham that I asked for. My wife said the garden omelet was just okay but her hashbrowns were cooked but not crisp around the edges like hash browns should be. The coffee was the best thing I had. All in all Southfork did not impress. In fact it was a disappointment. read more
