My wife and I tried Eddie's Diner for the first time, several weeks back. We live nearby and have been longing to have an excuse to grab a meal there ever since they opened some months ago. And, as luck would have it, we had one such excuse one Sunday mid-morning back in October, after watching our grand niece play in a soccer match. Now, it's been said that first impressions are the most importantly of all, and I am happy to report that Eddie's did not disappoint! When we arrived, Eddie's was hopping; it was nearly full with guests eating and the room somewhat abuzz with conversation. It was not overly noisy, but just noisy enough that one could have and hear the conversation at one's own table and not have to worry about eavesdroppers. For me, that's kind of how I like a breakfast/brunch spot. Despite Eddie's being quite packed, we were promptly seated and before long our drink orders were taken; Coffee for both of us! For our meals, my wife ordered a Three-egg and Bacon Omelet with an English Muffin and I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs ("over medium"). I asked for my Hash Browns to be well done and since I intended to not only douse my steak with gravy, but also those Hash Browns and my Biscuit, I ordered a large side bowl of Sausage Gravy. We both had coffee to drink. Eddie's serves Segafredo® Coffee, which is icing on the cake! Everything arrived timely, hot, and fresh! Since we both were pretty hungry by the time we arrived at Eddie's, we made quick work of our meals as we pretty much raced one another to the finish line! Everything tasted great and by meal's end we were both stuffed! As we both thoroughly enjoyed our food, we left nothing behind! We rarely go out for breakfast or brunch, but we are glad Eddie's is so close by and very happy for the good food quality, so when/if we do decide to eat out for such, we can choose Eddie's. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend you choose Eddie's too, should you be on the hunt for a great mid-morning meal! You will not be disappointed, I can assure you! It was all so good. We're roadtripping and finding good food along the way is a challenge. Eddie's was a great find. Food, service & ambience all top notch. I can personally recommend the Gobbler. I had them leave off the cheese and loved it! Hubby has the turkey club on a croissant and he's enjoying. It's basically bacon and turkey on croissant. Lettuce & tomato on the side. My husband ordered the Tex Mex omelette and said it was great as well. Service: Our server Tammy was great! She came by often and checked in on us. She even gave my father in law a cup of coffee to go! Very sweet! Ambiance: New, clean, and bright (SO BRIGHT). Plenty of parking in the adjacent lot. Been by here many time but always to crowded and didn't want to wait. Made it in yesterday and was happy we did. Our server was very welcoming and friendly. Such a cute and quaint diner. Stepping in, we were immediately greeted with a smile and brought to a table. Employees came and checked on us. The owner also stopped by to see how we were doing and gave some recommendations. So many choices on the menu, I couldn't decide what to order but ultimately landed on a benedict. Also got to taste the chicken fried steak skillet, which wasn't necessarily my cup of tea but it was tasty. Wish it came in a skillet. Loved the hash that came with both dishes. First time here and it did not disappoint. Greeted as soon as we walked in the door and seated immediately. Very nice wait staff. Extensive menu with something for everyone. Biscuits and gravy were seasoned perfectly, plenty of gravy and sausage with a side of fruit. It comes with hashbrowns, and the fruit was an extra cost, but I did not mind. The chicken coop was a large piece of chicken fried chicken on the top of biscuits and gravy with eggs on the top. Large portion, chicken was cooked perfectly. I did visit the ladies room and it was spotless and also had a changing table for toddlers and babies. Would definitely go back and highly recommend. read more

Their meals are on the high side for price and I asked for extra gravy because I didn't get enough for my biscuits and gravy which I'm already paying $13 for they would not remove the $2.50 for extra gravy which it should've been free and then the management was rude about it and didn't care if we didn't come back and we live right down the street read more

Everyone was friendly. The service was good. Breakfast was good. We asked if we could substitute and we're told sure no problem when the bill came subbing out. One piece of French toast for a two pancakes was three dollars which would be fine if we were given the choice and on a classic Benny asking to replace the pork with a chicken product was told no problem and it wound up being $4.95 additional maybe the server was new tried to speak to a manager was told there was no manager on duty This was 10 o'clock Saturday morning. This new little gem is a welcome addition to the neighborhood! It's got a good vibe, is clean and nicely decorated and has quickly become a weekly stop for my family. Favorite menu items? The garden skillet, pancakes, and simple egg & meat plate are all great for breakfast. But my #1 must-get dish is the Chicken Ranch Panini from the lunch menu...DELISH! My wife said the pancakes were great but my Ruben sandwich was the worse I've ever had. For the price I expected a masterpiece. The meat tasted funky. It was dry. The bread was stale. They put the sauce on the side, which I didn't ask for, so I had to perform surgery on my sandwich which promptly fell apart. I felt queasy on the stomach for hours afterwards. Our men's bible study group meets for breakfast once a month and this month we chose Eddie's again. With kids we probably had 15-18. The tables we were seated at would not accommodate the men, kids had their own tables. After several requests the manager on duty said they could not put any more tables together, so we walked out. They were not busy at the time so there was no reason not to accommodate our large group. This location opened up in my neighborhood recently, and I had been waiting to try it out. I look forward to going back and eating in the diner but today I just had takeout. I had their double mushroom burger and it was absolutely amazing. I will be coming back. Very nice interior feels very cozy. You will feel like you are eating with your family. The atmosphere is welcoming and the decor is country farm cute!! Back to the food though. Found this place in a new strip center near Southfork Ranch...good family vibe...excellent and friendly service...not overcrowded with seating arrangements...food was delicious from pancakes to Eggs Benedict...even accommodated the gluten sensitive at our table. Finally a breakfast place locally that knocks it out of the park every time. Every time I walk into this place I'm greeted in a genuinely friendly and welcoming manner. I've been enough to probably have every server in this place wait on me and the service across the board is top notch. I've tried a lot of menu items at this point, but my go to menu item has become corn beef hash, eggs, hash browns, and cheese grits. I've tried this combination all over town, a lot of folks do alright, but Eddie's is truly amazing. The French toast is stupid good too. Often I've got the little ones with me and they love the silver dollar pancakes. For a brand new place in town they have absolutely gotten off to a great start. Maybe breakfast is better but the burger I had for lunch was very boring. It was not hot just warm. If the restaurant was busy I would understand but only two couples in there. We go here frequently. Of all the local dinners, it's our favorite. The food is always good, really good, kudos to the cooks. The atmosphere is lively, and the location is convenient.
