He made a few suggestions that put more money in my pocket on the sale of my existing car. He also showed me his research, looked at alternative cars I could consider, and explained his pricing approach. Not at all a typical used car buying experience. King Brothers is small enough for the personalized experience, but large enough to know what they are doing. Excellent experience!! And I love my new(er) minivan every time I drive it! We were concerned going to a smaller dealership that we would have issues finding financing that didn't cripple us. Not a concern here. If this wasn't enough, Zaki has proven that he has the goods to build a premier dealership as the personal care that he places on cars and customers is apparent from the time you meet. You will likely be taken aback by the way that Zaki balances being personal and professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. Unfortunately we had a situation arise causing us to not be able to purchase from Zaki (completely our fault) and he was more than gracious and understanding. While we didn't get to purchase from Zaki( this time), we will be referring all of our friends and family to King Brothers. I only write reviews that I am utterly compelled to, and after spending weeks going through the car shopping fiasco, meeting many wonderful and terrible people, Zaki was the star that outshined them all. I wish Zaki and King Brothers nothing but success as this is just the type of experience we need in the world. Whether you purchase from King Brother's or not, you can rest assured that this 5 star rating (at this time) is not a fluke.

I went to Big Star's website and wrote in with interest about a new Explorer. I also shared the struggles we have been facing. Their team was amazing at getting back with me and empathizing over our struggle. With all the stress I needed an easy transition and couldn't bear a full day in a dealership. That would have just turned the knife. Adrien was super helpful, worked with me on getting above residual value for my car, negotiated rates before I had to come in. We did all our financials online. So by the time we came in all we had to do test drive the car, agree on final financing, and close the deal with finance. We were in and out in 2hrs. This was the best and most seamless car transaction I've ever had in my life! Hands down amazing people. Thank you so much for understanding this stress I was under and making this as easy as possible on us. I am truly grateful!!

I took my truck to Big Star Ford on 288 S. in Pearland yesterday (5/1/2025) morning for my 7:15 AM appointment. My service advisor is Robert. He seems to be a really nice guy with a sales attitude and quick Witte.(I love quick Witte.) Robert said he had one guy there who he wanted to look at my truck because he has worked on them the most and is quite familiar with that motor. I asked Robert to have his mechanic look at the transmission leak that I have and also a blend door issue.(that is a unseen box under the dash that switches the air from the heater core to allow cold air that's from the AC compressor to blow into the cabin.) Robert seen more than happy to accommodate my request and asked if he could have the truck for a couple of days to complete the work that I was requesting and I agree. I went back to Big Star Ford yesterday evening to have them look at a fault that I was reading in my mercury, mariner regarding my SiriusXM radio. I was surprised to see my truck in water appeared to be the checkout line. I got in line to see Robert and he said that he was just about to call me to let me know that the recalls have been fixed. He also told me that I had multiple oil leaks, in addition to my transmission leak. He said all the part numbers are obsolete for the gaskets needed to repair the leaks. He went on to say that it wouldn't be cost-effective for me to have them source the gaskets outside of Ford because they could not guarantee the work. That I understood, so I asked him if I could have the part numbers so that I could source the gaskets elsewhere. This is where the veil drops. Robert told me that the mechanic didn't write the part numbers down and had only done the visual inspection. Is not possible in my mind to determine that a part number is obsolete, without looking it up in the database! Robert then said well, while the person who deals with recalls was working on those items, the repair mechanic came by and "looked the vehicle over and determine that the gaskets needed were obsolete". This was really annoying. I'm pretty sure this was an attempt to extort money. Robert said it wouldn't be fair to the mechanic to have him provide the information that allegedly he had already looked up because it would take him time that he was not getting billed for. Please remember Robert told me that this process was already completed by the mechanic who had determined that the part numbers were obsolete. So Robert said for me to get the " obsolete part numbers for the gaskets that were leaking" I would need to pay a diagnostic fee, which is $235 per hour. I believe this was the ultimate goal. I believe in building relationships on mutual respect and trust. As consumers, we have the option to spend our money where we choose. I tried to find an establishment that I like, that treats me respectfully and values my time while simultaneously providing qualities service or products! Big Star Ford does not fit in that category! On a sidenote, I can't prove this, but they may have cleared the fault and charged Detroit for labor they may not have performed. By the way, remember that satellite radio fault I went back to have them look at? Well that didn't happen either. Robert provided this analogy " what you're asking is like calling a cancer doctor over the phone and asking them to give you a diagnosis based on symptoms". This is a known issue to Ford. I provided Robert the technical bulletin number which she brushed off. Buyer Beware

These past few weeks when I have been struggling to use my car with two broken external handles, I…read moreWISHED I had the mechanical skills to fix my car. Since I do not, the next best thing was finding LA Auto which is Woman owned and Operated to fix my ride! LA Auto was brought to my attention thanks to the Projects feature in the Yelp App. I sent out a request for a job or service and Yelp broadcasted it to businesses to reach out to me concerning the service. I had initially had a different mechanic before LA Auto that was going to do the job, but a price change occurred before the vehicle was in their possession. Decide to nix that mechanic and go back to the drawing board acquiring estimates for the job. By this point, I had already ordered and picked up my parts directly from the dealership so they would match my vehicle. All I needed was the labor to complete the repair. I was really intrigued that there was a Woman owned and operated auto shop in Houston, so I decided to reach back out to the shop about an estimate for labor. My inquiry was Friday afternoon, so I didn't expect to hear back until Monday. Liz, the Owner, however, was in contact with me in and out the entire weekend asking for pictures of the parts to ensure they were correct for the vehicle based on the VIN as well as making sure they didn't need to paint the handles. She gave me a range on the price for the labor, which I could understand because she never saw the vehicle before- only pictures of the damage. We did most of our communication on Monday which offerred a great opportunity for me to get the car fixed that afternoon since she had an opening. I honestly thought I may have to come back another day to get the job completed because EVERY OTHER BODY SHOP I SPOKE TO said I would have to drop the car off just to get an estimate. I did that with one Pearland body shop and received a quote of over a THOUSAND dollars just to fix some handles! They even stated the labor was high because the panels of the car had to be removed. Thanks to Youtube, II knew that was not the case and Liz the owner and my mechanic confirmed my research as she completed the work on the vehicle in less than an hour WITHOUT removing the inside panels. She worked fast and I was even able to see her work from the office which provides a chair or two inside for waiting customers. A/C is blizzard cold inside the waiting area, so bring a jacket. This is not your car dealership waiting room with tvs and refreshments, so bring your own, but Liz worked so fast I didn't need to indulge in either! Really friendly, sincere, and affordable service from Liz at LA Auto. I am so glad to not only have my car repaired (FINALLY, with the exception of one small part that the dealership gave me in error that doesnt affect the main fix) but I am so estatic to support a small business owned and operated by women. I am telling everyone I know about LA Auto if they ever need repairs on their vehicle. This place is a real gem and deserves to shine!

I applied for and was given pre-approval to purchase a used car. The rate was 6.49%. I ended up purchasing a new vehicle. I then called Navy Federal credit Union, and asked to have my interest rate adjusted accordingly. I spoke to three different people three different times and was told there was nothing they could do. I called again this past Friday on April 25, 2025 and spoke with two people. The first person I spoke with was reasonable and transferred my call to a supervisor named Robert the last name provided. I told Robert I was disappointed with Navy Federal Credit Union unwillingness too communicate with me in good faith. I didn't say to him "your people could have said to me if I change the terms of the loan, i.e., the number of months financed why wouldn't they modify the loan?" Robert said he would change the interest rate. Based on my recollection of the conversation, he agreed to change the rate from 6.49% to 3% with a 36 month finance plan. I waited to get the revised loan agreement/promissory note and it arrived on yesterday, Monday, April 28, 2025. Unfortunately, it had the terms of the original loan. I called back to Navy Federal Credit Union and asked to speak with a supervisor again. I spoke again with Robert who may or may not have remembered our conversation from three days prior. He said according to the notes, the interest rate should be 3.9% and not 3%. Since according to them, all calls are recorded I asked for a copy of the recorded conversation. I was told I could get a printed transcript and not the actual recording. Having worked in the Legal field for a long time I know that in depositions people are afforded the opportunity to make revisions to the document. I've expressed my concern that without hearing the tape I was left to the mercy of whomever was transcribing from the recording. And, that the transcription may not be inaccurate representation of what was said. This experience caused me to look back at my previous loan with Navy Federal Credit Union. I discovered their business model is not as beneficial to its customers as one would like to believe! Their model does not allow principal payments! Safe for instance you have a loan and you make a $10,000 payment to reduce the amount owed. That amount of money is spread out as if you were making multiple monthly payments. The monthly payments have interest calculated into them, therefore the consumer is not saving as much as they could. Reducing the principle saves the consumer the most amount of money. I strongly encourage everyone to listen closely to the word choice that banking officials use. These people are highly trained to intentionally mislead customers by redirecting you with words that do not answer specific questions, and lead you down the path that distracts you from your initial interest. From what I've seen most banking institutions employee similar tactics to maximize their profits, leaving the customer, unaware that they could've saved the money! As of this moment, I have not received the revised promissory note with the new terms. GN3

The only challenge came later with the Oregon title and licensing process. That's where Jessica in the title department truly went above and beyond. She patiently walked me through the process, explained how everything was supposed to work, and when an unexpected glitch came up, she stood by her word and worked hard to make sure everything was resolved. In today's world, it's easy for people to say, "Sorry, there's nothing we can do," or not follow through on what they promised. Jessica did the exact opposite. She took ownership, fought to make things right, and delivered exceptional customer service from start to finish. Keating Toyota should recognize how valuable Jessica is because employees like her build trust and earn lifelong customers.
