I really don't like writing negative reviews but I have to on just the sanitary factor on this. The service was awesome. The place looks nice. The food itself tasted good. The issue was I found not one but two items with hair. They were short strands of hair. It was disgusting. I was visiting this spot because I heard great things about the food here. This has nothing to do with the food taste or service at all thus why I would even give any stars. Grilled Chicken 1/5 I ordered this for my kids and it was so tender and great until I reach and noticed this piece. Photo cause I was shocked and in disbelief. It looks like it done fell and picked up. Clam chowder 1/5 The chowder was tasty. Then I get a small strand of hair. Disgusting. I was like okay the chicken was maybe a fluke. Nope this is very unsanitary. Not one food item but two dishes had hair. I did not take the photo since it was in my mouth and I just gaged and threw every thing out. read more

Easy to find, with lots of parking. Clean and nice seating area. It's a casual bar scene without the dark, dank feel. Lunch on a Saturday left us happy and full. Best chowder I've had since Boston. Maybe better than Boston. The lobster roll was perfection. Cool, creamy, and flavorful. Absolutely full of tender lobster. Bun was toasted in butter. The pizza, just wow. Crust was thin and crisp, toppings were fresh and plentiful. Absolutely no complaints or criticism. We also had a nice chat with Craig, the owner. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!! My sister and I visited Southies Bar Pizza in Bedford which serves New England style food. Growing up in Boston and now living in Texas we miss the food found on the South Shore of Boston. Southies did not disappoint !!!!! We started with the Greek Salad, followed by the Bar Pizzas. Everything was spot on. It felt like we were back in New England enjoying our favorite foods. Try the bar pizzas with burnt edges, it's fantastic. We took home the clam chowder to try and it was awesome. We will definitely be back for our favorite items and look forward to trying the rest of the menu. Thank you Chef John for your great food and hospitality! I hate to write a bad review for this place. We had heard really great things about the pizza, but that was not our experience. Pizza was so soggy, we had to eat it with forks. The hamburger and mushrooms were burned. The green pepper was the only topping that tasted fresh. It looked and tasted either leftover or reheated. We won't be back. read more

My daughter and I were so hungry, if we hadn't been I might've requested a redo. It looked like a great place to drink with friends, pool tables, clean bar, polite staff, some arcade games. Came in today after seeing a TT recommendation and man it did NOT disappoint!!!!! Definitely will be back and bringing a large crew with us. Full bar and amazing grub!!!! First time here, glad we tried it! Started with the clam chowda, very good. We split the Alice's restaurant pizza. The description had us curious with the add of tots. Being born and raised in Rhode Island, I had to come check this place out with my wife (from Massachusetts) who stumbled upon this place thanks to TikTok. We each started with a cup of New England clam chowder, which is by far the best in Texas! Next we spit a lobster roll which was super fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the Alice's restaurant pizza which was also very good, the crust was spot on. Bar Pizza is one of a kind and I'm sure this place will be one of the most hoppin spots around before long due to the quality of the food and the excellent staff, I know my wife and I will now be regulars. read more

Pizza was amazing and perfectly priced! The happy hour specials were awesome, we had a really great time for dinner here on Saturday. Due to their recent influx of business from a viral TikTok they are working to keep up with the demand and figuring out any service kinks but I'm sure they will get it all smoothed out! The only suggestion I have is that they switch to a waiter per table versus having multiple servers come to the table throughout the experience; there was some slight miscommunication about our food order. I was excited to try this place. I'll be honest I saw it on Tik tok from a content creator who explores Dfw food places. I waited 20 minutes just to get a drink and it was from Briana and she walked in the door and took care of me. They are horribly understaffed and can't keep up. Took 15 minutes to get a box and I felt horrible asking for it. I didn't even get to leave a tip cause after waiting 15 minutes for my check it never came. I asked twice. The food was very subpar hot honey pepperoni was. 6/10 and Hamburger pizza was 4/10. The people next to me never even got their drink order and walked out. Manager was no where to be found. No support for staff. Using a hand washing sink to wash glasses was also a red flag. read more

We came in due to a TikTok video and tried the pizza, lobster roll and apple pie dessert pizza. It was all very good and fresh. They are definitely working out the kinks and are all kind of stepping over each other and confused at times but the staff is so nice! I can only say great things about Southies. One of our favorite travel destinations is Boston. My wife and I both agree the Clam Chowder and the Lobster Roll at Southies equals or exceeds anything you'll get in the Northeast. Excellent! The chowder is not overly thick and creamy. Great texture. The lobster roll is full of meat with no unnecessary filler. We'll be back often. Craig, one of the owners with John, was very genuine and personable. Casual vibe and outstanding food. What an awesome place!! Best pizza I have had in a very long time! I suggest ordering and eating it there when it is brought out to you, piping hot and straight out of the oven. So delicious. Crunchy crust (not the soggy, delivery kind!), delicious sauce and fresh toppings. I was overly impressed by the staff there (shout out to the bar back named "LA")and the owner was roaming around his restaurant to great guests and receive the many compliments from fellow diners. This place is so clean and attractive with a happy hour and numerous other specials. Support your local pizza place and skip the usual pizza delivery places. Good food, good prices and nice people. What's not to like?!?! Family atmosphere with video games, pool tables and lots of large screen tvs. Can't wait for football season to start so I can enjoy my pizza while I watch my favorite team!! Hate to write a bad review for this new business which you could tell is very much in it's early stages. Found out about Southies through a TikTok and visited this evening. There's no clear signage outside identifying it as Southies. So it took awhile before any of the staff was able to confirm we were in the right place. we were told to sit wherever we wanted but no one offered us menus. We waited for a about 10 minutes before a young kid came to check on us and I told him we needed menus. I saw that he and another adult weren't sure where to find them and then noticed a stack on a table near by. The young kid did apologize and gave us the menus but then no one took our order and we left 10 minutes later. We weren't the only family that left. Another that came in behind us left before we did. We may come back another time. Hopefully after they've worked through their kinks. Just disappointed we didn't get a chance to try the pizza because it looked great on that TikTok read more
