Overall yummy food! I added the crispy chicken to my tortellini alfredo and that hit the spot. The bread wasn't good... too hard. Friendly guy working the front!

Inside is pretty dark. TV is popular here.

I've been driving by this place for years! I was in the mood for some Lasagna and I remembered this place so, I stopped in. It was a pleasant surprise. I'll tell you all about it I walked in and it was empty with just an employee eating his grub. The tubby sleepy guy with glasses and a striped shirt at the counter just stared at me. I believe, he was occupied with the game. I was like Welcome to Joe's! Lol. The employee that was dinning in laughed at me. He still didn't say anything, awkward. I told him it was my first time and he kindly said, go ahead take your time. I ordered Lasagna. There was like a fifteen minute wait. So, I did what any Yelper would do. I snapped some pics and struck up a conversation with the owner, Joe! You guessed. It . The guy at the counter was the M.O. D. Manager on Duty. I learned so much from Joe! He told me he had been at this location since his hair was dark now he's old and gray. Lol. The outside of this restaurant is located in a vintage shopping strip. However, the inside is really cute and gives off Italian vibes. There's was definitely an Italian Theme going on. I asked if, it had always been this cute and large in size. He said, little by little he has added on. When I asked how business was going ? He said, meh. It could always be better. His employee added to the conversation and said, "Oh come on, Joe! " "You pack this place out during lunch time!" Lol. He confirmed that a church group from Saint Bart's comes in here too. Joe is really observant. A mid aged lady walked in and he was like hi, young lady. Then a Mexican family walked in, consisting of a large male and a tiny wife with an oversized son, who appeared to be Autistic. The son was constantly repeating his order? His mom was poking fun at herself because, she was ordering four slices of pizza and a diet coke. Lol. Joe seemed to be tickled by that. Ok, now to the food. They give you a generous amount of bread. It was warm, soft and crispy on top. They place it in the brown bag with your food. My salad was fresh, lettuce crispy w one slice of tomato. Ranch dressing was creamy and delicious. My Lasagna was hot and enormous in size. It came in a round tin pan. It was two Lasagna sheets with lots of Tomato Sauce and salty Mozzarella Cheese. It was rich and fulfilling. I had to save it for the next day. In sum, it was better than I expected. It's nicer on the inside than out. Food was fresh and well portioned w a decent price of $10.99 Service was good it just took awhile to warm up. I like this place a lot better than Giovanni's on Crowley Rd. Check this place out some time. They are conventiently located off I-35 and Sycamore School Road.

I love the ziti, the baked ziti with meat sauce is good but pictured is the spicy ziti bolognese and chocolate cake. Everything is very fresh and bread is always provided, which paired with the sauce is absolute perfection. Although I'm not a huge fan of the actual pizza everything else is delicious

Good Everman eatery. Went here for lunch with friends. Got the stuffed shells, the ziti bolognese, and pizza by the slice. My ziti had a great flavor. So many places don't offer ziti with any kind of meat sauce, and this was very filling. Friends liked their meals as well. The rolls were dense and yummy. Salads were pretty simple and the dressings were good. Had the Italian dressing and my friend had the house (a kind of tomato vinaigrette) We came right before the lunch crowd so it took us a good minute to get our food. Not a big deal though. All in all, a good lunch option if you're in the Everman area. Until next time, Joe's!

    2 XL pizzas

This small pizza place faces out on South Freeway. They have a 2 XL pizza special for $22.99. It's a whole lotta pizza. They only sell one type of crust. It's on the thin side which makes me so happy. We ordered the special for carry out without adding any additional toppings. The pepperoni was excellent. My fiancé and my son devoured the Canadian bacon pizza. The counter staff was not especially friendly but the pizza is really good, the location is okay and I would order here again for sure. They were doing a lot of carry out business while we were there. If you like thin crust you will like Joe's Pizza.

We parked at street parking across the restaurant without issue. Inside, we were promptly seated. The inside is nice and dim with an open kitchen. We started the night off with the Fondue. The rosemary buffs were delicious and the perfect vehicle for the two different dips - goat cheese fondue and pecan pepper jam. I really enjoyed the goat cheese. It was nice and hearty, pairing very well with the bread. The pepper jam added a sweet touch but I'm more a savory person so I was more than content with the cheese itself. My mom got the papparadelle and bolognese while I got the sausage pizza. The papparadelle was nice and al dente. It paired well with the bolognese sauce. However, I felt it was warm when it came out so it got cold quickly. The sausage pizza was delicious! The star of the pie were easily the carmelized onions - added such a perfect level of sweetness that it really elevated the whole dish. The crust also went well with the cheese from the fondue. At this point in the evening, we were feeling pretty full. Nonetheless, our waiter, Seamus, knew it was my mom's birthday. With that in mind, he treated us to the donuts. They came with chocolate sauce and strawberry jam. Both were good. I personally preferred the chocolate since that's what I usually lean more towards. We thought it was such a nice gesture. The night was that much more special because of Seamus. Overall, althrough everything wasn't perfect (not that it should have been), the work and effort was clearly there. Looking forward to coming back again one day.

My parents were in town and we decided to come here for my birthday in fact. Usually, we would have walked. Though it was pretty cold outside. There's a small lot that's right at the entrance (or back) of the restaurant. However, in the likely case that it's full, there's a spacious lot that's nearby next to the parking garage as well. Inside, we were quickly seated. Our waitress brought out our drinks promptly. We knew what we wanted so we ordered then and there as well. For appetizers, we got the Artichokes Classique. I'm not the biggest artichokes fan. I may or may not have been trying to convince my parents that I have a sophisticated adult palate and this looked like it would do the job. The artichokes were lightly fried with a crispy exterior. They retained their earthy, taste. Paired well with the slightly spicy, garlicky calabrian chile aioli. My dad got the Chicken Parm Sandwich. It was nice and meaty - solid chicken parm! What really stood out, in my opinion, was the side caesar salad. They used whole gem lettuce as opposed to romaine which I felt offered a better texture, presentation, and helped with the dressing distribution. My mom, or rather all of us, got the Chorizo y Miele which was their pizza of the month for Feburary. Without a doubt, it was one of the many highlights of this night. It's a sweet-spicy pizza with rich, salty sausage accented by an appropriate amount of habanero honey drizzle. I had never had sweety drop peppers but it was such a nice addition in terms of presentation for the month of February, texture with the slight cruchiness of the whole pepper, and flavor with the slight spice. Last but not least, the texture of the pizza was phenomenal. The crust had that nice smokey flavor - perfect base for all of the ingredients on top. Finally, I got the Truffle Carbonara. Rich. Decadent. Mindblowing. This is easily one of the top three carbonaras that I have ever had. It was so delicious. The truffle flavor is not overwhelming at all - just the right amount. Lastly, I want to comment on the stellar service. We were checked on frequently by our wonderful waitress. Additionally, since it was my birthday, we had brought a cake from a bakery to the restaurant. Not only did she offer to store the cake in the fridge, but she made sure that we had enough plates, silverware, and even a lighter for the candles. Truly made sure that the evening was special! Overall, I'm looking forward to one day coming back to Cane Rosso. From trying the unique monthly pasta and pizza specials to the wonderful service, you can't go wrong with a meal here!

We grabbed a booth and ordered a large pepperoni, and it didn't take long before it came out hot and smelling unreal. First bite--crust had that perfect balance of crispy on the outside but still soft inside. The sauce actually has flavor (which a lot of places miss), and they don't skimp on the toppings. Cheese pull was legit too. You can tell this isn't some cookie-cutter chain pizza. Service was friendly and super laid-back. No rush, no attitude--just good people making good food. This is the kind of spot you don't overthink--you just keep coming back. Definitely adding it to my regular rotation. If you're in the area and want real pizza, this is it.

When I took my first bite, it was immediately obvious the pizza was not fresh. The cheese wasn't hot or melty like a freshly made pizza should be. Instead, it appears they used pre-made slices that were already sitting out and combined them to make a 14" pizza. I did not receive a fresh pie--just reheated, old slices passed off as a new pizza. That's unacceptable, especially at this price point. If a customer orders a fresh large pizza, it should actually be made fresh, not assembled from leftover slices and warmed up. Very disappointed and I will not be returning to this location. Customers should be aware that ordering a "fresh" pizza here may result in exactly what I experienced--a rip-off.
