What a wonderful experience. The meal was delicious. A great imaginative Caesar Salad and grilled octopus followed by the perfectly cooked cacio Pepe. The service was attentive and professional. We over-ordered dessert and it was amazing. Chocolate delight, strawberry cheesecake and tiramisu all incredible. I am a huge fan!

Came here to celebrate two of my friends birthdays after vineyard hopping and had an amazing time. We all got the squid ink pasta, scallops, branzino, and a bunch of other dishes to share. All the food was tasty. A bit pricey for the portion sizes, but that's to be expected in this area. We did get a few strange stares (we were a group of 7 Asian girls), but we shrugged it off and had an enjoyable dinner.

This dining experience was so odd and the definition of a bait and switch. Everything we ordered arrived at the table prepared not quite the way the menu description implied. For example, we ordered the squid ink pasta with lobster bisque and shrimp. Nowhere in the description of the dish did it say that it came with baby shrimp (you know, the ones you find in salads.) Had we known that, we definitely wouldn't have ordered the dish and after trying it, I would certainly not recommend it, especially not for $42. It was bland and flavorless with tiny, mushy shrimp. Go with the ricotta gnocchi if you want pasta, it was perfect. We had read that the desserts were the star here so we ordered two. The Basque cheesecake with fig compote and the chocolate soufflé both sounded amazing. But the basque cheesecake with fig arrived as a goat cheese cheesecake with strawberries. The last bait and switch was the "chocolate soufflé" which arrived to our table in cake form. Our waiter, who at best could be described as minimally polite, turned downright argumentative when questioned. He told us that we must've gotten an old menu (we didn't, I checked on the way out) because the cheesecake had been recently changed out and also that the soufflé was in fact a "twice baked soufflé." Call me crazy but at a French restaurant when they say they are serving a soufflé, I expect it to be a traditional soufflé unless otherwise noted. We didn't eat either of them and the waiter did remove them from the bill. The highlights were the wonderful team of bus staff who served and cleared with a smile and the cocktail program. Maybe it was just that we ordered the wrong things, but I wouldn't go back to test that theory.

8/20/22 After a wonderful day lounging at the pool and the beach with neighbors we decided to revisit Southold Social. It was a bit late but during the summer that is normal for us. There was no seating available outside so again we dined indoors, it is a cozy intimate room. Hubby enjoyed the cavatelli so much on our last visit that he opted for the full portion for his entrée. ,On a recommendation from a neighbor I ordered the pork chop. The pork chop was perfectly cooked, served with a creamy polenta and broccolini. I enjoyed every morsel. Hubby was delighted that the pasta was as good as he remembered it. Our waitress Taylor took good care of us. As it was a bit late we did not have an appetizer or dessert but we will be returning to Southold Social with friends and I am sure we will indulge in both.

Definitely found a new favorite place to add to our list! Wowee, Southold Social is GREAT!!! We had originally booked out reservation for inside, but with it being so nice outside, they were able to accommodate us in their lovely patio area which features many tables, all under an awning, and made private from the driveway with large hedges. It was almost like dining indoors but we were still able to enjoy the nice weather! Beautiful dishware and color scheme. Every worker we came in contact with was friendly and attentive. The hostesses were eager to help us find a table outside and the bus boys were frequently around to fill our waters and take plates away as needed. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and genuinely seemed to care how we were enjoying ourselves. It was nice to see both chefs occasionally milling about the dining room to greet tables. We appreciated their innovative, eclectic menu! We started with the cold soba noodle salad, charred octopus (a tentacle) over fingerling potatoes, and the tuna sashimi. All were beautifully plated and tasted so fresh and amazing! For our entrees we got the orecchiette pasta e fagioli, and black squid ink linguini with lobster bisque and shrimp. Both were absolutely wonderful but a bit on the small size for the "large" portion which we were told was twice as large as the "small" portion (I can't imagine how tiny the plate must be for the small portion!). We finished off with the deconstructed key lime pie and the chocolate dome (with touches of hazelnut). Loved them both and the creativity that accompanied them! We will absolutely return to Southold Social in the near future to explore their menu even further! This menu read "New Spring Menu" and I look forward to finding out what they have to offer in the fall!

I have been here twice and I think the food is great. My favorite dishes are the octopus and the gnocchi. It's a bit expensive given the portion sizes, also most recently when we went, it was a bit chilly outside, so seating there was not the most pleasant.

Honestly, the food was even better than it looks--it was immaculate. My only complaint is that I wish they had more dinner-sized fish options than just the branzino. I was told the sea bass and salmon are too small and more like appetizers. Not pictured, but my boyfriend and I shared the kale salad as an appetizer. It was the best kale salad we've ever had. The branzino was also the best branzino I've ever had. He got the gnocchi, but he wasn't so impressed--it was OK. Fish is the way to go here. The watermelon margarita was also very good.

    Squid ink pasta, yum!

The Quick: Really fantastic meal, everything was delicious! The octopus appetizer was 10/10! A bit pricey for the sides ($10 French fries were tiny) but the entrees were fantastic. Drinks were incredible. We'll absolutely be back!

I have to give this 5 stars. I'm not sure what the other reviews are about. We were completely impressed,. Although it looks just like a house on the outside as you turn to the back the patio seating is gorgeous and once you walk in it gets it even more beautiful. Very tasteful decor. Greeted immediately and seated. For appetizers beet salad was amazing. Tuna crudo was good but a little heavy on the ginger dressing which took away from the flavor of the fish. Papardelle was amazing. Beautifully mixed with seasoning and garnishes . Short ribs were also Amazing. Loved the flavor. Portions were perfect. For the dessert we got the chocolate cake which was good but was more of a mousse. They surprised us and put a birthday candle on ! Can't wait to show my other friends this place.

Wonderful from start to finish! Can't wait to go back! We started with the octopus. Then we enjoyed the black squid ink linguine with shrimp, and pappardelle with braised lamb shoulder and farm root vegetables. The Heavenly Pavlova was divine! Service was on point!

I had the pleasure of dining at Noah's on Sunday evening with two of my college girlfriends, and…read morewhat a wonderful experience it was! We ordered several dishes to share so we could sample as much of the menu as possible. We started with a half dozen oysters featuring three different varieties. They were incredibly fresh, and we loved every one of them. The accompanying sauces were the perfect complement. From the Small Plates menu, we ordered the watermelon salad. It was a generous portion and absolutely delicious. Perfect for a warm summer evening. I especially loved the combination of arugula, fresh mint, and both yellow and red watermelon. The cocoa nibs were an unexpected touch that added wonderful texture and flavor. It's not something I ever would have thought to add to a watermelon salad, but it worked beautifully. I can't wait to order it again. Next came the Long Island calamari frito misto with rock shrimp. The lightly battered calamari and shrimp were perfectly crisp, and the addition of fennel added a unique flavor that elevated the entire dish. It was simply superb. We also shared the red crab tacos. There are three tacos per order, which worked out perfectly since each of us could enjoy one. This was another standout. I love crab but usually shy away from mayonnaise-based salads. Whatever they did with this crab salad completely won me over. It was light, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The Long Island Duck BBQ, served with pulled duck, cheddar grits, and scallions, was another pleasant surprise. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but it was outstanding. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the creamy cheddar grits paired perfectly with the tender duck. It was another creative dish that showcased the kitchen's talent. We also ordered a side of baby spinach so we'd have a vegetable to round out the meal, and even that was perfectly prepared and very flavorful. When I say everything was exceptional, I truly mean it. Every dish arrived beautifully presented, at the perfect temperature, expertly seasoned, and bursting with flavor. Our server, Jennifer Farino, kept everything running seamlessly despite all of our shared plates and courses. She was attentive, friendly, and made the entire evening even more enjoyable. My friends ordered Hugo Spritzes while I enjoyed a raspberry Stoli Cosmopolitan. The cocktails were outstanding as well. Kudos to the bartender! When it came time for dessert, we asked Jennifer to surprise us with her selections. While every dessert was delicious, my absolute favorite was the cinnamon sugar beignets with bourbon caramel dipping sauce. They were warm, light, and completely irresistible. I could eat them every day! In fact, I'd happily return just for those beignets. We originally had an indoor reservation, but when we arrived we were fortunate enough to be seated outside, where seating is first-come, first-served. It couldn't have worked out better. The weather was beautiful, making for a perfect summer evening. Even the background music was thoughtfully chosen and played at just the right volume, creating a wonderful atmosphere. From the food and drinks to the service and ambiance, everything about our evening at Noah's was exceptional. We all left saying the same thing: this was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. Noah's has truly set the bar high, and we can't wait to return.

Picking a favorite course feels like choosing between yourbfavorite child . The milk bread, oysters, and baked clams were standouts. That celery vinaigrette on the oysters was next level.
