    Bunless Burger

came here on a Sunday night got seated immediately and had a great meal! We sat in the bar area at one of the high top tables as there was a Mets game going on that we wanted to watch, but the dining room section directly next to it was pretty busy as well. I came here with my family and we all got a bunch of different appetizers to share (shoutout the potato skins - sooo good!) and I got the bun-less burger with a side of sweet potato fries. The burger was so delicious and the cheese was perfectly melted on top I really really liked it! it's a really fun bar to have a drink hang out and have some great food will definitely be coming back

Asian Tuna wrap with a side of ranch fries, cooked perfectly, but very salty

Casual dining in Southold. We had the special crispy shrimp fried dumplings as an appetizer. Very tasty. Hubby ordered a burger with cheddar cheese and he found the meat to be tender but lacking flavor. I ordered the tuna wrap and I must say that the dressing on the salad that was in the wrap was over the top way too salty! The tuna was cooked to my specifications, rare but overall I would say it missed the mark. I want to like this place as it is a reasonable driving distance from our home, we will try it again in the future but will have to order different things.

Came here for dinner after spending the afternoon at the local wineries. It was the 4th of July weekend so it was hard to find a place open after 8 PM. They were very friendly and accommodated us without a reservation. Place wasn't too busy but was decently filled. Started off with the Hula Colada. It consisted of Hula Hut Pineapple Vanilla Vodka, coconut water and pineapple juice. Oh my gosh, this drink was amazing! It immediately transported me to a tropical island, even though I've never been to one before. After soaking in the sun all day, I couldn't have asked for a better drink. For an appetizer,, we had the Chicken and Lemongrass dumplings. I can honestly say that these were the best dumplings that I've ever had! Wish I even had some now. The Lemongrass absolutely made them. They come steamed in a citrus ginger glaze and comes with a Thai dipping sauce. Really though, you don't need to dip the dumplings in anything! They're that good. As my main I had the Filet Flounder Sandwich for $15. Great price for a perfect entree. Crispy battered crust on the outside with flaky flounder on the inside. Served on a soft potato bun. The piece of fish was huge. Too big for the roll itself. I got it with a side of cole slaw that was perfectly dressed. Nothing worse than cole slaw swimming in mayo. It was a great, simple meal to end the day. The bill came to about $119 for three people with 3 entrées, 4 cocktails, soda and 2 appetizers. I think that's a great price for delicious food and attentive service. Would love to come back again.

This place is definitely worth going to, but make reservations. We waited over an hour after originally being told it would be 30 minutes. We decided to grab a drink in the bar and watch sports. It was packed and the food smelled and looked amazing. Once we were seated the atmosphere was loud but in a good way. We sat near the fireplace and I appreciated that since it was freezing out! We ordered: Pretzels - 3 out of 5 the condiment was good! Dumplings - 3 out of 5 the flavor was there the dough was like overcooked pasta French Onion Soup - 4 out of 5 the presentation was spot on and the flavor was good Tavern Burger - 5 out of 5 this is a great burger! House made Chips - 5 out of 5 (I could not stop eating them) Creme Brûlée - 4 out of 5 really good Overall we had a great time and looking forward to coming back here!

Such a wonderful establishment! Delicious food and relaxed atmosphere were welcoming during. The apps rocked including, my fave--Firecracker chips (homemade potato chips with blue cheese and hot sauce), And amazing Mozz sticks, potato skins, French onion soup and pasta --were all great for my fam. Would absolutely come back here again and again!

Step inside, though, and boom--you're transported into an elegant, beautifully designed dining room that feels straight out of a Michelin dream. We waited a bit for our table, but they handed us complimentary champagne, so... patience restored. The $125 prix-fixe menu was worth every bite. Picking a favorite course feels like choosing between yourbfavorite child . The milk bread, oysters, and baked clams were standouts. That celery vinaigrette on the oysters was next level. The agnolotti pasta was unforgettable. I had the baked chicken entrée and discovered a new obsession with turnip cakes. Who knew? Dessert sealed the deal: molten chocolate cake and passion fruit panna cotta. An absolutely perfect mic drop to end the meal. If I had to nitpick, the drink prices lean toward Manhattan territory. But overall, I'm a huge fan and rooting hard for this spot. If you're anywhere near Greenport or Southold, do yourself a favor and book it.

A Loyal Customer's Disappointment…read more I've been going to Legends for over 20 years, so writing this review is honestly disappointing for me. I have always loved this place and considered it one of my go-to restaurants. That's why the changes I've experienced recently are so noticeable. I ordered my usual Coke, but unfortunately it was flat. I also ordered the hamburger I've enjoyed for years, and this time it simply didn't taste like the burger I've always loved. The portion of French fries was also noticeably smaller. Normally, I wouldn't care about the amount of fries if the burger was still as delicious as it used to be, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Since the new ownership, it feels like a lot has changed. The service was very slow, seemingly because there aren't enough servers. The changes behind the bar have also affected the drinks, which just aren't as good as they used to be. I understand that businesses change and new owners may want to bring their own ideas to a restaurant. But when you've been a loyal customer for 20 years, you notice when the quality, service, food, and overall experience change. I truly hope Legends can get back to the quality and service that made longtime customers like me keep coming back year after year. I would love nothing more than to be able to enjoy my favorite burger and say, "This is the Legends I remember."

At around 3:30PM, the place was buzzing. There were lots of people sitting at the food area, and even more at the bar area where the band was. Lots of parking at this place, even though there were a lot of people. Ordered the Double Duck and Leaf Pile Ale, both winners. Got a couple more and tried the Leaf Pile Pie, that was good too. Decided to get food, and was surprised to see a nice selection other than the usual bar fare. They've got a full kitchen, and we got the Grilled Octopus salad, wings, and mac and cheese. The octopus salad was fantastic, don't let the rustic presentation put you off. The band was lovely, and as the night rolled in, they had the floor packed with line dancers and everyone else that just wanted to move with the music. As someone else mentioned in one of their reviews, there were a lot of kids. We'll be back though, but maybe not so early next time.

Turns out it's a real brewery, unpretentious and disarmingly charming, the kind of place that reminds you not every date requires someone attempting to expense Cipriani. He arrived in boat shoes and the easy confidence of a man whose fund has already exited twice this quarter. I ordered a blood orange IPA because it sounded sporty, he got something called "Summer Shandy," which is essentially beer for people who are afraid of beer. I wore a vintage Cartier Tank Cintrée, my Chanel 1990s flap with 24k hardware (bags had integrity before the euro), and Khaite slingbacks I immediately regretted on the gravel. Beauty, like industrial real estate, comes with inherent risk. Then the pretzel arrived and I understood why people believe in divine intervention. Bronze, glossy, saline architecture. Flaky exterior, pillowy interior, just enough malt to constitute its own food group. It came with beer cheese that could convert the strictly devout and a whole-grain mustard that bit harder than a Kirkland & Ellis term sheet. I made Ryan order a second pretzel, purely for due diligence. He talked about last-mile logistics and "mission-critical square footage," and I nodded because I recognize a solid warehouse play when I see one--predictable yield, limited volatility, the kind of man who could fund both my supplement regimen and my theoretical early retirement without needing validation. Mid-pretzel, I had a moment of clarity. This is what they mean by "quality of life"--warm carbs, cold beer, a man who understands cap rates and doesn't feel the need to perform. No marble counters, no waitlist, no one explaining their "journey" to me. Just a genuinely excellent pretzel and someone who thinks infrastructure is sexy, which, if we're being honest, it is. The Brewery itself: 4.7 out of 5--effortless, genuine, the kind of place you actually exhale in. In finance terms, that's roughly 40 minutes without checking Bloomberg. The pretzel: 5 out of 5, a revelation, the carbohydrate equivalent of finding undervalued assets in a frothy market. Ryan: 4.2 out of 5 currently, 4.6 if industrial cap rates hold--he's cash-flowing, ego-free, and respects a good pretzel when he sees one. If the market turns, I'll be in Sag Harbor claiming I valued him for his personality; if it holds, I'll be back here in September, hair down, pretzel in hand, thinking maybe compounding doesn't only apply to the Mag 7.
