I stopped here for dinner on a Saturday and was able to be seated right away. We ordered a cesear salad, buffalo wings, clam chowder and the salmon. We weren't a fan of the cesear salad as it was full pieces of lettuce. We enjoyed the rest of the meal. The buffalo wings had a generous amount of sauce and weren't dry at all. Beware that the tables are extremely close together so it can feel like you're eating with strangers. I would recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a spot to eat in Greenport.

We had a great dining experience at First and South. Even without a reservation on a Saturday evening, we were seated right away. Hostess was great and very personable. The space is cozy and comfortable, which made for a really relaxed meal. We started with the wedge salad and the chicken tortilla soup special of the day--both were excellent. For our entrées, we ordered the shrimp pasta and the steak, and everything was delicious. The bartender also made a great espresso martini, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a wonderful visit! We'd definitely come back.

We enjoyed a really nice dinner at First and South this past week! Erin was our server and she really took care of us throughout the meal. The restaurant is charming and we had such a nice, private table in the corner as I requested on RESY. They even had live music playing outside that we heard through the open window next to us. Cool for a Tuesday night. Love that First and South is so farm-to-table. Everything was fresh and locally sourced, especially the North Fork wine! I had the chicken dish which came with some very delicious mushrooms along with croutons that sucked up all the amazing juices and flavors. The chicken could have been a little more moist, but it was very good. My husband enjoyed his miso salmon on a bed of greens ... everything was so good. I wish we had room for dessert as the options looked so good. We will have to save room for next time !

Everything about this place is so amazing. I can't wait to go back. The upscale but still chill atmosphere is notable. The service was good, too. What we got: Burrata with confit tomato's, (nut free) basil pesto with a side of crostini - 10/10. The burrata was creamy and delicious. The pesto was vibrant. The confit was sweet but savory adding a lovely touch. A Really Good Burger - it really was a really good burger. The patty was hearty and cooked to perfections. I added cheese and bacon. The bacon was THICK and delicious, definitely worth the extra money. First Fries - incredible skin on 3 times blanched fries. You're able to add on sauces for dipping which is such a nice touch. We got the garlic aioli which was really acidic forward, truffle aioli which was divine with the right about of truffle, and the scallion remoulade which quickly became my fave dip after dip. Lemonade - it has the perfect balance of sweet but tartness. I could imagine having it on a hot day as a refreshing beverage. Overall, I highly recommend!!

What a wonderful Christmas vibe in Greenport. This place is great all year 'round but it's magical at Christmas time with a great "small town" atmosphere. Off season most of us here live locally but there's no discrimination against the straggling visitors. Food is outstanding with many, rotating, local options. Solid cocktail menu and a nice, simple wine list. The Chowder just may be the best around. The fries definitely are!

Great lunch! Also nice brunch menu. Sat on the porch with our doggo today. Service was friendly, helpful and prompt. I had the saffron mussels and an order of fries with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc; hubby had the ahi tuna burger. The pièce de résistance was the gluten-free brownie sundae - wow, what an amazing and delectable treat! Definitely a relaxing and satiating meal. Highly recommend sitting outdoors. Live music today was an added bonus to enhance the dining experience! We will be back!

We really enjoyed our lunch at First and South! The staff was super friendly and loved that we had our dog. We were able to sit out on the covered patio with him and the waitress was really sweet with him. She kept our drinks filled and was very fast with everything. We got our oysters in no time and our main dishes didn't take too long. I tried the chicken sandwich that came with a Thai sauce. It had an amazing flavor and I would definitely order it again if we came back. We really liked First and South with its screened-in patio and cute inside. It is a really good option for lunch in Greenport especially if you can't have gluten like my family.

My partner and I were visiting Greenport area and stopped by First and South for a quick lunch! It was super busy on a weekend so it took a while for us to get seated, but afterwards food came quick and servers were attentive. Started off with their clam chowder which was well seasoned and tasty! While I liked the salty bacon flavors, I felt like it overpowdered the clams a little, or perhaps the ratio can be adjusted? Enjoyed how creamy the soup was as well as the amount of additional vegetables. For mains, the lobster and shrimp sliders were better than expected. The seafood pieces were fresh and the mayo wasn't too much. The ratio of meat to veggies were good. Fries were pretty standard. The fried chicken sandwich was pretty decent! Liked how they used two thin tender pieces of fried chicken breast instead of one. Only wish they put their wet ingredients on top so the burger could stay more intact. Overall, a decent meal but nothing crazy to write home. Would be interested in seeing what other seasonal items they offer next time!

My wife and I came here for lunch and had an outstanding experience. I ordered the New England clam chowder, and it was easily one of the best I've had--loaded with clams and perfectly balanced without being overly creamy. My wife had the shrimp and lobster sliders, which were fresh, flavorful, and paired perfectly with her Bloody Mary. But the real standout? The hand-cut fries--crispy, golden, and absolutely delicious! Despite the place being busy, the service was attentive and friendly, making the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town. Highly recommend!

Cute little neighborhood spot. Great food and cocktails, Joe was good to us! Greek salad, clam chowder and burger were all amazing. Dog friendly too :)

The food here is great! A little on the pricy side but can't complain because at least the quality is good. The corn was unbelievable, drenched in sauce and Cotija. The roasted corn was Great but portion was really small. We also got the Mac n cheese, it was perfectly made and loaded with various cheeses and topped with crispy bread crumbs. The brownie dessert was not the best. The flavor of the brownie was unique because it had tahini but it came in a mason jar and it was layered with ice cream and cram on top so it was basically impossible to get a bite of the brownie without making a mess of the desert. By the end few bites it was a melted mess. It should've been served in a bowl in my opinion and have a few more brownie pieces. Service was nice, we had a very friendly waitress and the hostess was able to accommodate our request for sitting outside despite it being very crowded by having us wait near the bar or dining room until a table opened up. Good ambiance - it's a beautiful restaurant

I had the pleasure of dining at Noah's on Sunday evening with two of my college girlfriends, and…read morewhat a wonderful experience it was! We ordered several dishes to share so we could sample as much of the menu as possible. We started with a half dozen oysters featuring three different varieties. They were incredibly fresh, and we loved every one of them. The accompanying sauces were the perfect complement. From the Small Plates menu, we ordered the watermelon salad. It was a generous portion and absolutely delicious. Perfect for a warm summer evening. I especially loved the combination of arugula, fresh mint, and both yellow and red watermelon. The cocoa nibs were an unexpected touch that added wonderful texture and flavor. It's not something I ever would have thought to add to a watermelon salad, but it worked beautifully. I can't wait to order it again. Next came the Long Island calamari frito misto with rock shrimp. The lightly battered calamari and shrimp were perfectly crisp, and the addition of fennel added a unique flavor that elevated the entire dish. It was simply superb. We also shared the red crab tacos. There are three tacos per order, which worked out perfectly since each of us could enjoy one. This was another standout. I love crab but usually shy away from mayonnaise-based salads. Whatever they did with this crab salad completely won me over. It was light, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The Long Island Duck BBQ, served with pulled duck, cheddar grits, and scallions, was another pleasant surprise. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but it was outstanding. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the creamy cheddar grits paired perfectly with the tender duck. It was another creative dish that showcased the kitchen's talent. We also ordered a side of baby spinach so we'd have a vegetable to round out the meal, and even that was perfectly prepared and very flavorful. When I say everything was exceptional, I truly mean it. Every dish arrived beautifully presented, at the perfect temperature, expertly seasoned, and bursting with flavor. Our server, Jennifer Farino, kept everything running seamlessly despite all of our shared plates and courses. She was attentive, friendly, and made the entire evening even more enjoyable. My friends ordered Hugo Spritzes while I enjoyed a raspberry Stoli Cosmopolitan. The cocktails were outstanding as well. Kudos to the bartender! When it came time for dessert, we asked Jennifer to surprise us with her selections. While every dessert was delicious, my absolute favorite was the cinnamon sugar beignets with bourbon caramel dipping sauce. They were warm, light, and completely irresistible. I could eat them every day! In fact, I'd happily return just for those beignets. We originally had an indoor reservation, but when we arrived we were fortunate enough to be seated outside, where seating is first-come, first-served. It couldn't have worked out better. The weather was beautiful, making for a perfect summer evening. Even the background music was thoughtfully chosen and played at just the right volume, creating a wonderful atmosphere. From the food and drinks to the service and ambiance, everything about our evening at Noah's was exceptional. We all left saying the same thing: this was one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. Noah's has truly set the bar high, and we can't wait to return.

My turkey was cold and the coleslaw had no seasoning, just a lot of mayo. The bbq sauce had a weird, unpleasant taste. My kids chicken and fingers and French fries were fine. The kicker was that their 2 bathrooms were out of order. I wasn't aware of this until my 4 year old needed to go. After seeing the signs on the doors, I went up to the counter to ask if there was a working bathroom. He said "No. You can go across the street." What? There's a bar and a restaurant across the street. The restaurant was closed. The bar may have been open. In any event, Green Hill should have told us they didn't have a working bathroom and should probably have been closed until they were fixed. I believe that's a health code violation.

After having visited and thoroughly enjoyed the Stony Brook location multiple times, this was a…read morehighly disappointing experience. Popped in for a quick weekend lunch since they had visibly open tables and we were seated right away. The person who showed us to our table led the way, and then dropped menus and utensils in a booth and kept walking. As soon as we made our way through the small restaurant, the absolute filth of the place was the only thing I could focus on. There were food scraps and garbage littering almost every surface of the floor. Our own table had dirty napkins, crumbs and half spilled sugar packets underneath, and the bench needed a wipe down before I could sit. Condiments on the table were dirty and if you moved them, the table was covered with crumbs underneath so no one is moving the condiments to clean. The bathroom was equally disgusting and unkempt. Despite all signs pointing to that we should've left immediately, we were hungry and had been driving for awhile. The food/drink was nothing like the other locations we've visited. In my 20 years of ordering Mimosas, I have never before been asked if I wanted a single or a double. It's prosecco, not shots. I went for the single because my expectations were low, and was presented with a weird little lowball glass of pineapple juice and a jigger of prosecco. That is completely ridiculous to cut a serving in half and call it a "single". For $12 you can buy an entire decent bottle of prosecco, and probably at least three bottles of whatever cheap they're serving. It feels like a cheat not to get a full serving. I ordered the Bootlegger for my meal which is fried chicken, melted cheese, bacon and Russian dressing on a roll. It arrived on a tiny hamburger bun with no dressing. Our server came once to ask how everything was the moment the plates were set down, and left when I told her I hadn't tried it yet. It then took about 10 minutes to obtain a side of dressing once I noticed my sandwich was dry. It was edible, but definitely not worth ever having again. My husband ordered corned beef hash and eggs, which was a plate filled with boxed potato sprinkled with pieces of corned beef. Eggs were fine. We did not use any of the condiments since it was clear they hadn't been swapped out or cleaned, and really tried to get out of this dirty environment as fast as possible. Servers were all concentrated in the bar area, some on phones clearly not busy...so it makes one wonder why no one thought to sweep the floor or wipe down a table. The state of the dining room was truly disgusting and honestly surprising. Our server barely attended to us so we opted not to bring this complaint to her directly and judging by the demeanor of the other staff, there wasn't a manger on duty. The bigger problem here is that if the public-facing front of house can look that way, I can only imagine how the kitchen is kept. We will never return to this location and sincerely hope it can be brought up to the same standards as the others.
