I switched to Southpark Dental Group in January, 2025 after being with a different dentist for over 20 years who was no longer going to be in my "network". I was sad leaving their practice because there is a comfort in knowing them for so long. HOWEVER, I had my first appointment in January and the difference in this office AND CARE was sooooo different than what I been experiencing in my previous dentist's office. Just because you go someplace for a long time, doesn't necessarily mean you are receiving the best care. I must acknowledge DR. CHARLENE FISHER and her assistant BETZY WHO ARE JUST AMAZING. Dr. Fisher is attentive, patient, caring and just WONDERFUL at her craft. Southpark makes their crowns right there on the premise and Dr. Fisher works very hard to make it fit exactly as it needs to fit. Their technology is up to date, and she knows how to use it all and makes it work for her. Dr. Fisher made a "temporary" partial plate for me consisting of two teeth. It was originally styled to go around the entire top of my mouth and was a large apparatus. After trying it out, I couldn't get used to it, so Dr. Fisher worked diligently on this partial plate and made so many style changes to make it smaller so it could work for my mouth. She is just incredible and did an awesome job on it. I wear it everyday! Dr. Fisher and her assistant, Betzy, work very closely and seamlessly together. It is a pleasure to have a dental team that makes me feel comfortable, takes excellent care of me and I can trust them implicitly. Betzy is always upbeat and kind. I enjoy my interactions with her while she is prepping me for Dr. Fisher, as needed. Let's face it, going to the dentist is not something we want to do, but when I go to Southpark Dental, I enjoy seeing the staff at the front desk, who are always warm, welcoming and have a smile on their face. **Let me preface with the fact that I have an irrational fear of the dentist but taking care of your teeth is important for your overall health so please do it** I contacted my insurance and asked for an office that was both close by and also accepted by my insurance and they suggested Southpark Dental Group. The first time I came, I was impressed with the facility and how each room seemed to have foliage and big glass windows that allowed natural light to come in. I personally think that helps make it feel less "hospital-like" and helped calm me down before my first dental cleaning in yeaaaarssss. My dental hygienist was kind, patient and did a fabulous job helping me feel/stay comfortable. After my first visit, I looked into Invisalign and started treatment shortly after. My experience was a little unique since it was during COVID-19 but overall the treatment was really easy and they did their best to make us feel safe and followed safety precautions which I appreciated (having a partner who is high-risk w/ an autoimmune disease). I personally probably should have gotten braces bc I have no self-control lol but overall Invisalign was best for me since I was graduating college and didn't want to have metal in my mouth for those photos. During my treatment, Southpark Dental was able to contact Align Technology and make sure I was given the refinement that I was owed with my original package [keep in mind COVID closures and delays in normal routine visits]. They did not have to do that but it was SO NICE of them to take care of me like that and with a little luck and time I was on my way to even straighter teeth. Although my teeth aren't where I would want them to be that is MY FAULT and has nothing to do with my dentist or her assistant who I both absolutely love! (Dr. Reiter and Leishla) I've been coming here for six years now and everyone in the office is so kind and professional. Continuing my journey to good health I need to get the rest of my mercury fillings I've had since I was 8 out of my mouth. They were very professional and helpful from the start. I emailed the office a few questions and old X-rays and Dr Coen answered questions before my visit via email so I knew what to expect. I I walked into office and was pleasantly surprised to find the chair facing a beautiful garden and koi pond. What a relaxing site to look at while getting your teeth done. I was put at ease and very relaxed the entire time. Everyone was very patient and thorough. The doctor explained everything. I loved that her assistant tapped my shoulder as the numbing shot went in. I loved that touch. I went home in no pain and my teeth never bothered me after; the procedure was done flawlessly. Even the bite is good. I don't know how it is cause I was high on nitrous oxide when she's telling me to bite down and I didn't feel that part of my mouth at that point. But she's good that Dr. Cohen! I had 3 mercury fillings removed and a cap and two filling put in. I love the greenery and koi pond to look at while getting teeth done. If you don't like to go to dentists like me, try this place for a pleasant experience. read more

IT'S A SCAM. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL Initially, I was informed by a doctor at this facility that my implant crown would carry a 5-year warranty. Unfortunately, that doctor is no longer here, and the current office manager, and the owner, refuses to take responsibility for the statements made by their previous doctors. This appears to be a scam because my crown broke after just 4 years, which wouldn't be an issue if I hadn't been promised the warranty. I contacted the office and clearly mentioned the warranty both over the phone and in emails requesting documentation. I even emphasized that I currently live in California and needed assurance regarding their warranty policy. In response, they informed me that they would evaluate the tooth before providing any documents confirming coverage under warranty. Consequently, I spent $500 to travel back to Orlando for the evaluation, only to be told that they had never offered or informed any patients about a warranty for the crown. IS IT A JOKE? WHY YOU DIDNOT CLARIFY OVER THE PHONE ABOUT NEVER HAD ANY WARRANTY POLICY???? The problem lies in the fact that they didn't allow me to speak directly with the office manager or the owner on the phone to clarify their lack of warranty from the beginning. This would have saved me the unnecessary 12-hour round trip on the airplane, and the money spent on travel expenses. It's incredibly frustrating that the business fails to assume any responsibility for the misleading statements made by their staff and doctors, even if they are no longer associated with the office or still working there. An apology for the miscommunication would be the least they could offer, considering the inconvenience and expenses I've incurred. read more

First time visit with broken tooth and this place far exceeded all of my expectations. Check in was fast and easy. The Dr. Ross Reiter was the best in every way, checked my teeth, told me what he saw and then answered all of my questions and gave me options to consider. When with a crown to fix my problem and went through the process to remove old filling, and ready the tooth for the crown. In less than 2 hours after checking in i had the replacement crown, made in the office, installed and headed home, have you ever heard of that level of professionalism in Dental, i sure never had. While transitioning from another dentist to this dental group due to its good review and reputation, the dentist at Southpark Dental conducted a comprehensive evaluation exam on my teeth during my first appointment 2 weeks ago, and provided a regular cleaning plan with no required copayment. However, during today's cleaning appointment, the office unexpectedly changed the cleaning plan, which required a $20 copay. They told me their dentist made a mistake, but the dentist was not available to explain specifics. I am not questioning the copay amount, but I believe they should have informed me in advance about any changes to my cleaning plan, especially if it was due to mistakes made by their dentist! I don't think I should trust this location. Wasted time & money on two trips. Very very disappointed! read more

Very unhappy with my visit here. It really appears that they look at their patients as dollar signs walking in the door. Nothing was explained to me, I got charged 38 dollars for flouride treatment which I later learn is useless for adults. It seems like all they care about is how much insurance coverage you have left and what they can do to maximize that. They then went on to tell me I need to have thousands of dollars of cavity work done, on 11 teeth.. and I was at another dentist 7 months ago they said I was fine! Let's just say I took their X-rays to another dentist for second opinion and they said I had no cavities. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE! read more

Terrible place. The young dentist told me I have cavities that I doesn't exist and I need crowns that's are not indicated. Not sure, if it's money hunger or poor diagnostics skills. I had two recent exams prior to that with no mention of that guy was saying. Also, I have extensive dental background to challenge the dentist at the dental board level or even court. I had an exceptional appointment today at Southpark Dental Group with Dr Edwards and Yvette. It was my first visit, and all the staff took great care of me. They accepted my insurance from work and already had my insurance information completed for my intake. When I got to the examination room, Dr. Edwards and Yvette took great care of me. They saw I had a tooth which required immediate treatment, and they booked the treatment for the same day while I was still in the chair! Since it was my day off, this was perfect, and I got the whole root canal procedure done in one day. Plus, they'll have a crown for me on Friday morning, two days later! I can't believe the speed, skill and ease with which they have done this work. I'm glad I trusted my instincts, and went ahead with the Southpark. You guys rock. read more

Took a lot longer than normal . I've been with this practice for years but have new dentist and hygienist now , others retired and or moved out of state . Very surprised with the length of time it took to get through everting even though it's been a lot longer between visits. I do believe they were looking very hard at finding something to be wrong but nothing was . I really do trust this practice isn't trying to do procedures on me just to get my money . The first time I came they were overly slow and running behind. I decided to give them another chance 6 months later for my next cleaning and a small filling. I had the appointment in my calendar for 10-12p. I arrived at 9:48am and was told I was late for my 9:30a appt. I explained I thought my appt was at 10am and there was still over 1.5hrs left in my appt block even if I was wrong about my appt time. I have been coming to this location for many, many years. I think all of the staff, hygienists, and doctors are amazing. My kids also come to this location and all of the staff are patient and friendly with them. With kids and adults they explain what they are doing, have blankets if you are cold, and can turn on the TV for you to watch during your treatments. I was in town and noticed one of my teeth behind my veneer along with my gum started having some pain which grew and grew...amidst all the coronavirus fears, I called and they were able to see me right away..they took every precaution available and were able to do xrays and a root canal with no pain at all within an hour! Visited their office and left with a long bill and list of work needed that my insurance wouldn't pay for. Went for a second opinion and was shown the xrays and though a mirrror that none of those things were needed. Then they sent me a bill for a routine cleaning that shouldve been covered by my insurance. When I called to dispute, the billing lady said that it was not her job to verify and refused to take it off. I refused to pay and havent had contact with them in years. They keep reposting the bill to my credit report as if I had contact with them and so it doesn't go away. **** DONT BE FOOLED BY THEIR FANCY LAYOUT AND HIGH TECH EQUIPMENT..
