Averaging at 5 text messages and 3 to 4 emails a day till my appointment. Can I tell how annoying that is. Apparently when I showed up for my appointment and told them they just needed to merge my file, really. Also when I tried calling them the person who answered was laughing and really wasn't listening to me. She said come in 15 minutes early to complete your paperwork. You know it would have been nice if this person cared enough to look at my information and notice the problem and corrected it. Now once I got in the check in was smooth and easy. Wasted numerous hours on several days fighting a deductible that we do not have if "in-network". Something does not add up! Why would a Doctor's office be considered in network but demand out of network fees??! Insurance coordinator/manager in Highland Village was extremely rude and lacked any sense of professionalism or customer service. Rolled her eyes and kept interrupting while trying to explain the situation and trying to find a resolution, other than just paying thousands of dollars. Also, nearly impossible to get through to a an actual person on the phone, much less find the right person for the location in question. Will find a facility that values patients and doesn't try to play games with insurance.

Most doctors mumble "mmhhmm" when you tell them you're in pain. Most doctors tell their patients what to do. Dr. Lomibao is not most doctors. Dr. Lomibao treats her patients like real human beings with real problems. She takes the time to listen to you (even when it meant listening to my decade's long medical history). She asks great follow-up questions. Most importantly, she's one of the first doctors I've had who actually empathizes with her patients. It's silly, but I cried after my first appointment with Dr. Lomibao. I've never had a rheumatologist say, "I'm worried about you." She taught me about my condition and how treatments can help. Unlike most doctors, Dr. Lomibao doesn't tell you what to do. She offers options and lets you decide. Most importantly, she presented me with a more aggressive (but safe) dosing regimen that my previous rheumatologist would have never cared to offer. Then when I got to see Dr. Walter Humann, who only took about 3 minutes time with me and when he asked me a question, I was cut off before finishing my sentence. He was late getting in to see me because I heard him with the patience next door talking for 15 minutes about the FIFA soccer games, I get it, I enjoyed the conversation too even though I was just eavesdropping through the paper thin walls and I figured he would be in a better mood than his front desk staff person was since the convo with his patient was going so well. He was quick, seemed like he didn't care, and I felt just like a number and from the looks of my bill, I just paid his car payment (or maybe half a car payment, depending on his car). The audiologist Dr. Kelly Briley doesn't smile like she does in her pics, I felt like she was also wishing I wasn't there. She was cold, distant, even though I really liked her office, it was warm and inviting and I told her this, no response. After I paid my bill, made a follow up appointment and I had to deal with the same front desk person that checked me in and as she was checking me out, I asked her if she had the correct pharmacy on file for the script that Dr. Humann ordered and she said she did, but how could she since I didn't put it on my paperwork so I asked her to read it out to me to confirm and of course, it was wrong, so I gave her the right address and she got mad, and said "that is what I said" and her voice sounded so angry and evil that I just grabbed my bag and got out of there. Then, I get a call from my pharmacy, the script was called in incorrectly and they were letting me know they contacted the Dr. Humann's office to get it fixed. That was good and I waited, and waited, two days later, my pharmacy told me to call them since they are not getting a response, so I called, left a voice mail and it has been 3 weeks, no response to the pharmacy or myself. I decided to just ask my PCP to fill the script since I would not ever be going back to this office again. Please find a better ENT office, if you can, because this office, does not care about the patient, only the very expensive fees they charge for less than 15 minutes of service.

I found two doctors that are way more cost-efficient for somebody with health without health insurance and I've repeatedly asked for my records and they act like they can't print out a statement of what I paid. I have asked about more than 30 days ago and legally they're supposed to give me my records, but they won't give them to me so I don't know what's wrong with this place. They probably didn't even know what they're doing. This place is horrible. They're unfriendly they're unorganized and they don't care. All they care about is money.
