I was a new patient last month (July 2026) and showed up early to be greeted by a very young front desk check-in person who was aggressive and had an angry tone and asked me for two things, which, I had my license and medical card ready but she asked for license and something else like a permit and I had to ask her what that was, she said my medical card and I did not say this out loud but wanted to say "why didn't you just say medical card" but it was my first time here so I didn't say anything , figured she was having a bad day. Then when I got to see Dr. Walter Humann, who only took about 3 minutes time with me and when he asked me a question, I was cut off before finishing my sentence. He was late getting in to see me because I heard him with the patience next door talking for 15 minutes about the FIFA soccer games, I get it, I enjoyed the conversation too even though I was just eavesdropping through the paper thin walls and I figured he would be in a better mood than his front desk staff person was since the convo with his patient was going so well. He was quick, seemed like he didn't care, and I felt just like a number and from the looks of my bill, I just paid his car payment (or maybe half a car payment, depending on his car). The audiologist Dr. Kelly Briley doesn't smile like she does in her pics, I felt like she was also wishing I wasn't there. She was cold, distant, even though I really liked her office, it was warm and inviting and I told her this, no response. After I paid my bill, made a follow up appointment and I had to deal with the same front desk person that checked me in and as she was checking me out, I asked her if she had the correct pharmacy on file for the script that Dr. Humann ordered and she said she did, but how could she since I didn't put it on my paperwork so I asked her to read it out to me to confirm and of course, it was wrong, so I gave her the right address and she got mad, and said "that is what I said" and her voice sounded so angry and evil that I just grabbed my bag and got out of there. Then, I get a call from my pharmacy, the script was called in incorrectly and they were letting me know they contacted the Dr. Humann's office to get it fixed. That was good and I waited, and waited, two days later, my pharmacy told me to call them since they are not getting a response, so I called, left a voice mail and it has been 3 weeks, no response to the pharmacy or myself. I decided to just ask my PCP to fill the script since I would not ever be going back to this office again. Please find a better ENT office, if you can, because this office, does not care about the patient, only the very expensive fees they charge for less than 15 minutes of service. read more

I made a decision this year to go forward with hearing aids. Although a bit apprehensive and hesitant, I took the advice of my family. A very good friend recommended Dr. Briley at Dallas ENT Group. I couldn't be happier with her consultation and recommendation of the best rx for hearing aids for my particular hearing loss. She was very patient and kind and had my best interest at heart. STAY AWAY!!! I went to see Dr. Hung at Dallas ENT a week ago, as a new patient in desperation due to ear pain and can't regret it more!!! He did not do a thorough examination and gave a wrong diagnosis that led me to down a path of WEEK LONG HoRRIBLE EAR PAIN, before I was on the mend after seeing another actually competent ENT. Dr.Hung is rude and does not care about his patients or their concerns. Just here to make a quick buck! I will be reporting him to the board. After spending less than 2 mins diagnosing, Dr. Hung told me that there was nothing wrong with my ear and to take Tylenol. When I asked about the pain, he rudely said, there is nothing to treat and can only treat the symptom since I am saying I have a pain and lazily gave out a generic antibiotic saying if there is something, which he doubts, will be cured. WRONG!!! After going to another competent ENT, the doctor was able to spot that it was a Tonsils issues within 5 mins... something as an ENT, Dr. Hung must have been able to do, BUT COULD NOT!!! Also, I suggest that Dr. Hung may be spend a bit less time getting into Martian suit in fear of Covid and spend more time with patients... rest of his staff and patients are just wearing masks and getting along normally and taking social distancing precautions. read more

Dr Chung came highly recommended for a reason. I had several sinus infections & sore throats the past few years. Dr Chung performed a tonsillectomy & repaired a deviated septum. I heard these procedures were extremely painful for adults. It wasn't nearly as painful as everything I read. I can breath so much better now and am so glad I had this done. Dr Chung, all his staff & everyone at the surgery center were kind, helpful & fantastic. I am so happy he was recommended. read more

I went to Dr. Hung with Sinusitis / Bronchitis/ Ear ache/ etc. I was really hoping for some kind of relief when I went to see him. I GOT NOTHING! OMG! He wanted a CAT scan of my sinuses, even though he put the scope down my nose/ throat. He could have easily prescribed something for my discomfort. When the exam was over and they wanted me to leave, I asked the Nurse..."can't he give me anything for my cough"? She exited the room to go ask him. She came back and said (literally) "Robitussin or something like that. She couldn't PRONOUNCE ROBITUSSIN and had NO CLUE what it was!" I was IN SHOCK! My Insurance paid this guy for the 15 minutes he gave me. I got absolutely NO HEALTH CARE that day! Extremely disappointed! read more

Have a terrible sinus problem and went to Dr. Hung for a second opinion. First, I did not have to wait that long. Second, the staff from the front desk to the nurses and assistants were extremely nice and professional. When Dr. Hung finally saw me, he was also very professional, nice and listened thoroughly to my issues. He recommended a CT scan for that day then called me a few days later to check on me and to share the results. He laid out options for me that made sense and did not push any unnecessary procedures as I've heard other ENT doctors do. I feel tons better with my current treatment! I had a CT scan from a different ENT back in July, and they found a deviated septum left side as well as a cyst in my left frontal sinus that is causing persistent pain and headaches. My first ENT told me that the cyst would "come out on its own" after a balloon sinuplasty and that it was nothing to worry about. Well, that sounded off. So, I made an appt with Dallas ENT because they were rated so highly on Yelp and ZocDoc with Dr. Andy Chung. My first visit was ok, but I was so desperate to get this cyst out I didn't care who at this point because the headaches have become so bad. I noticed that Dr. Chung was a bit condescending, had a very pushy way about his bedside manner, and almost seemed annoyed with me that my surgery would be "difficult" due to the location and lateral shape of my cyst. Anyway, he said my sinuses were perfect other that which was different from the previous ENT since she said my left septum was deviated. He wanted to immediately schedule surgery, ($ cha ching for chung $). I told him I wouldn't be able to do it until after October 1 after my new insurance kicked in and my out-of-pocket would be significantly reduced. Also after my first visit, Dr. Chung put me on Prednisone and an antiobiotic, Clarithromycin. He told me that if that solved the pain in my frontal sinus from the cyst, then the pain is due to the cyst becoming infected. Well, it did work, the pain went away, but what bothered me the most was that he didn't have his staff or anyone check to see if the antibiotic reacted with anything else I was taking, and according to my PharmD, it did react with my Celexa (found this out after the fact). Fortunately it was just heart palpitations and I didn't die. His office also never called back to follow up to see how I reacted to the medication and if it took my pain away. I had to call them back. Something else that bothered me is that, although he may have been honest and realistic which I can appreciate, he told me that he wouldn't know if he could reach the cyst until he gets inside of my sinuses, and it's going to be very difficult to get it out (aka it's probably a waste of time and my money). So a secondary surgery would have to happen if surgery 1 was a fail. This surgery sounded like a blast, where he and a cosmetic surgeon would work together to remove part of my skull to access my frontal sinus for the cyst removal. In my mind I was thinking, "How do I know he just won't go in and NOT remove the cyst so he can make more money with the secondary surgery?" It honestly felt like he was already preparing me that the first surgery wasn't going to work. Not a good way to make your patient feel confident or comfortable by choosing you as the surgeon. "Hey, this surgery probably isn't going to work." But like I said, I do appreciate the honesty. So, I started experiencing more sinus issues before an 8 day conference 2 weeks ago and asked if they could simply call in a Z pack for me since I was running a low grade fever and about to be out of town. His assistant did that, all was good, but for whatever reason, the antibiotic didn't work this time and so I called back this week to see if I could get in to see Dr. Chung. So today, my appointment was horrible. I felt almost as if he thought I was making up my sinus trouble unrelated to the cyst and it was all in my head (not literally, figuratively). He said, direct quote, "I can't prescribe you antibiotics every couple of weeks you start experiencing sinus trouble. I can't throw drugs at you like candy. I'm not an internist. I'm a surgeon." Yes, I know this. That is why I came to see you, because you are the "expert" and I thought your specialty was in Ear, Nose and Throat. He then kept insinuating that he wants to find proof that I'm not just making these symptoms up and not related to my frontal cyst, so I needed to get a second CT scan that day (in addition to the first CT scan I had over the summer). And also, I needed an allergy test which I told him the first visit I needed one. The thing that really pissed me off is that I left worse off that I was, after my CT scan + ENT co-pay I was $325 out of pocket, and I have no relief. He also said before I left the examination room that, "I am really trying to help you, I know you are in pain, but your timeline is making it very difficult for me to do anything for you." So not only did I leave the appointment feeling belittled, $325 poorer, still running a low grade fever and in pain, I was given 0 medication for relief. Dr. Chung didn't even take my temperature. I felt like I was wasting HIS time by asking for his help. It was like I was imposing. He made me feel like I was just another paycheck, all he wanted was money, and he could care less about my well-being or providing me relief. I know this was too long, but I can tell you before today, I was definitely going to use Dr. Andy Chung for my surgery. But now, I've decided to go with a different doctor due to his attitude. read more

Saw Dr. Arun Badi's ad in the newspaper -- after a little on-line research, decided to check him out. Glad I did -- saw Dr. Badi for an ear issue, sleep issues, and had an upper respiratory infection to boot. He was wonderful -- took so much time to explain where things were, what my options were. Ways to do things without overspending. You could really tell that Dr. Badi wanted to help make things better -- all things. His staff was great as well. I would highly recommend. After learning that my 3 yr old son had severe sleep apnea(And has always had constant severe ear infections), we were finally referred to see an ENT. I asked around and a friend of mine had used Dr. Trone and had nothing but great things to say, so i decided to make an appt. I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN HAPPIER! We got in to see him the within 1 day of making the appt, and after he reviewed my sons med records and did the exam, he had us scheduled for surgery within 2 wks. The original surgery took place in March 2012 and within just a few wks, my son finally (for the 1st time in his life) slept through an entire night. I was just amazed that Dr Trone knew exactly what to do to help him. We had been told so many times that he would just "grow out of it", but finally I had gotten someone to actually listen to me. I saw Dr. Badi in 2014 about my hearing, his examination was pleasant and he said physically all looked normal and explained things to my satisfaction, I then saw their Audiologist Allison Liberio, she was fantastic and did her exam and audio testing, the results were what I was expecting about my partial hearing loss (I'm 65, worked in loud, noisy environments and am genetically predisposed), she helped me pick the best hearing aids for my budget and over the following weeks made adjustments to get the most from them, she was very patient and thorough. I have seen their audiologist every year for a check and their new one Dr. Laura Botts is even better (if that was possible), her exam and testing was very thorough. There's that word again (thorough). Dr. Botts is extremely knowledgeable and explained everything I needed to know about the changes in my hearing and the adjustments on my hearing aids to compensate for them, I could not ask for better service. Every one I have dealt with at Dallas ENT from the beautifull smiling Jill at the reception window to all the Doctors have made me feel comfortable and at home, the ladies in finance and at checkout are very helpful.
