The front desk folks at the hotel recommended three taxi services. I elected to go with Shakopee Taxi, given the association with the Native American tribe that founded the Mystic Lake Hotel & Casino. Securing a reservation for a ride to the airport was easy, and the call went so far as to describe the vehicle and which entrance to the Mystic Lake complex to meet for pick-up. The driver was great. We had a great conversation during the ride and I was able to learn even more about the area. I cannot overstate what a pleasant time was had during that drive. I feel like a made a new friend. I hope to bring my family back to Mystic Lake someday. When I do, I will definitely reach out to the kind and generous folks at Shakopee Taxi.

They're also very patient while waiting for late flights! Chey always has a treat for my dog and isn't offended when he turns up his nose at it. One time when we pulled into the driveway, she led him over to the back yard to do what comes naturally - without being asked - while I was getting my act together with the carrier and the luggage. The dog and I were BOTH very grateful! I told her I felt like she deserved another tip for that extra service, and she laughed and said "for just standing here holding onto a leash?" Yup, for holding onto a leash when and where it counts - it's a BIG deal after the dog has been "holding it" too for hours and hours! GREAT service!
